Cool if we get enough interest ill post an OOC.
. . . What have I done? How could I have not seen this all along. We were blinded by the desperation of our quest. If we would have just stopped and thought about it for a moment. I am only thankful that my death will give me salvation of the guilt that would had surely killed me. All of these lives that will be lost. Even as I write this I feel my strength failing me. That damned ring, took with it much more than my innocence. It stole my soul.... All of those souls that tried to tempt fate. Sauron forged the ring so that when it was willingly destroyed, it would release the latent effects in the other rings. Like a key to unlock hidden powers. So confident was he, that upon the rings destruction it revealed to me his plan. Why rule with one ring, when you can rule through 3 kingdoms with 19? If you are reading this I implore you, the rings MUST be destroyed.

Frodo closed the book and ran his hand intimately over the cover. He knew what was coming and very soon. As a last act, he called in his aid. Tomas, please see to it this book is delivered to Galadriel. She will know what to do with it.

Frodo went and laid in his bed, taking his final breaths. He did everything possible to absolve some of his guilt. He knew he was to blame for this, but what else could he do? He closed his eyes, and let his last breath escape hoping he still had some sort of soul to save.

Tomas rushed with his errand. He treated it like it was life and death, because of the look in his master Frodo's eyes. Soon, he found lady Galadriel and handed her the journal that Frodo had entrusted him with. She retired to her bed chambers and started reading over it, and when she got to the final page with Frodo's warning, she grinned. She spun the ring on her finger as she stared into the fire of her hearth. The fire formed into an eyeball and her smile widened.

This will be set a couple milennia in the future. The RP will be after the rings of power have been lost in lore and time and will slowly be uncovered with each ring's power being discovered. The group can either try to destroy them and save Middle Earth, or use them for their own nefarious purposes. I will be implementing a Will type stat, it is your characters resistance over the rings. I will be needing a few Co-GMs or a solid Co-GM as I do have real life priorities at time. We will use PMs to discuss plot twists for nefarious acts so as to keep them revealed from the group. My goal is to have a companionship, but will it be all true hearted people? Or will they destroy themselves? Also, going to divide the rp into chapters, because not all the rings will be uncovered right away.

Great post Dizzy, I enjoyed it. I only hope mine wasn't too awful. Everyone is doing great and this has been enjoyable to read :)
"My queen, when you stop questioning yourself on whether you do the right thing or not is the day I would worry. Because doubts are what keep us human, and keep us in check as mortals. They strengthen us with the reason they bring. As for whether or not you will give the wrong orders, you may. People may die because of them. But it is because they CHOOSE to fight for you and serve you. You have given people hope, prosperity and most of all a sense of purpose." Kessig pulled her gaze to meet his own. He stared into her misty eyes knowing she hated being vulnerable. "Luna, listen to me. When things get to be too much that's when you come to me ok? I am always here for you. I believe in you heart and soul. I have no idea why the Gods decided to make me as lucky as I have been, but if there is anything I can do to relieve just a little of your burden, please do not hesitate to ask. I know I am a simple soldier, but you make me feel as though as I am so much more. That is how I like to think the citizens feel about you as well. You give them a voice when they have been silent for too long."

"As to Shirok, trust in him as we trust in you. He is a crafty fellow, and from my reports, he's earning the king's favor. Maybe arrange for a code phrase he can send to us. One that if he feels truly in danger, we can dispatch a few men to rescue him. These are just my thoughts of course." Kessig saw her deflate a bit after the talk. He checked to make sure the door was shut, and no one could see them through the window. "Now, let me help you forget about the weight of the world a bit. . . "
Watching Richard's cheeks turn red relieved Caelyn. She knew she was pretty awkward in one on one conversations. "Sounds good to me." Caelyn said softly. Why am I speaking so softly? God's what is wrong with you? You aren't scared of any opponent, but you ask one cute guy to walk around and you are meek? He is really cute though... Caelyn could feel her cheeks re-warming again and shook her head so that her hair fell over one side of her face. "Oh! A ball toss game seems to be fun! Don' you think? Look at these cute monkeys! I am wonderin' why they are here? Surely they are not.... Ow sweet Meru's hammer! That little bugger hit me in me eye!

"Well do no' just sit there! Let's get these little devils!" Caelyn wound up and let the ball fly and knocked over the first monkey. Richard seemed to be enjoying himself, but she could see something was making his mind wander. "Ye know, when my mind is full sometimes I find it helpful to just empty it. Sounds simple, and it really is. Anyways, if yer needin' to talk just no' I will no' be judgin'." Caelyn said as she danced fluently as she was dodging ball after ball. She was making small talk seem effortless. When the throwing subsided a small bit, she turned and looked Richard in the eyes and smiled. "I do no' know anyone here, so you are my first...friend." The nice little moment was nearly interrupted as she ducked another ball. She was not going to let those little bastards hit her again.
Name: Kessig Mianthus

Origin: Avenase

Age: 24

Race: Human

Class: Lancer
Appearance:

Weapon(keep it basic obviously): Halberd

Magic: Cure (want to be a peacekeeper, or subduer.) I have an idea and can explain it more to you later.

Personality: Pacifist. Kessig learned to fight to subdue. He believes that there is good in everyone, and some may need it beat into them.

Loyalty: Luna Bladedancer

Rank(To be given by GM): Luna Bladedancer Elite Guard

History: Kessig hailed from the imperial lands. Tired of its harsh brutality, and its military based structure, he chose to leave. He went in search of his true calling, and found it when gazing upon Luna Bladedancer. She was giving a speech about the importance of peace, and he was awestruck. For the last 6 years, he has done everything he can to get closer to the woman. Luna's wisdom is what the world needs in Kessig's eyes. Too much death, too much senseless violence. And for what? To be able to say the words "It's mine."? The continents ruled the people not the other way around. People focus on control so much, that when catastrophe strikes, they realize how little control they really have. In Kessig's eyes, the world was a gift, not something to be taken for granted. It seemed Luna offered the same insight.

Kessig's popularity did grow in Tormin, and his experience with the Halberd was sought after. While training in Tormin, he met a mage. He taught the man a little self defense, so in close quarters he could get away and cast his spells, and in return, the mage started teaching Kessig how to feel the mana in the air. To sense the magic. He hoped that he could learn to heal those wounded. The hair on his arms stood up and followed the flow of magic on this beautiful continent. He could feel it, but could not quite channel it. The mage told him he had potential and it was indeed possible.

Kessig's family abandoned him when he denounced the Imperials and he hasn't spoken to them since. His father a wealthy man had donated many times to their cause, making their family name fairly known. His fathers caravans were often guarded by imperial soldiers because of his loyalty and he oftened discounted wares and goods to the army. Many people on Avenase sported Mianthus wares.
