Yo, this looks rad as heck!! Is it too late to throw my hat in the ring, as either Doctor Strange, Rocket Raccoon, Ant-Man or Falcon?
So... I'm assuming that interest for this has died off?
Alright guys, lets get this started! Finish up your character sheets ASAP, and I'll start the IC.

@HushedWhispers@sassy1085@DawningAurora@Ejected
@Zaxter996 Do we have to use anime images? I am just wondering since three people have anime images but wanted to ask.

Nah, you can use whatever style you like :)

@sassy1085@DawningAurora
Your character sheets look good! Looks like we have the melody section of the band sorted. Just need the rhythm section now. (Bass and Drums.)
Name: Marcus Ainsworth

Gender: Male

Appearance: The young man stands at around the average height at 5’9” and is fairly well built, though he tends to hide it with baggy band shirts and hoodies most of the time. He has light brown hair, which is straight and falls just below his ears. He often wears it with a fringe swept over his right eye. His eyes are a dark blue, though are rarely seen behind his hair.

Age: 19

Instrument(s): Guitar (Main), Vocals, Keyboard.

Description: Marcus first comes across as quiet and introverted, and is fairly shy around new people. Once he gets comfortable, however, his true personality shines. He loves talking about his passions, especially music, and could talk for hours once he starts. He likes to feel useful, and is always there for his friends, or almost anyone really. He always tries to be on everyone's good side and is trusting to a fault.
As a lot of creative people are, he is prone to unexpected bouts of near crippling depression that can last anywhere from an hour to a week. This can often leave him bedridden for days on end. He also often puts other people's happiness and well being above his own. There are also short times where he will keep to himself due to thinking that he is just a bother to everyone around him. He often gets over it quickly, but it is always there at the back of his mind. He tries to be calm and collected, but is often quick to overreact and over think most things. Even the tiniest issue can turn into a horrible world altering disaster in his mind if he lets it.
Marcus is very opinionated, and often struggles to find the line between assertive and and aggressive when it comes to arguments, especially when it's something he's passionate about.
Secretly, he is a hopeless romantic. He often keeps it hidden to avoid getting hurt, but it's there, and he can't wait to find someone to finally share that side of him with.

Favourite Genre(s)/Band(s): Emo, Pop-Punk, Alt-Rock, Post-Hardcore.

Brief Backstory: There isn't much to say about Marcus' childhood. The youngest of 3 boys in a family of musicians, he was always supported when it came to music. His parents gave him all the support he needed, though made sure that he knew how hard it is to make it in the music industry, so that he wasn't blindsided if he chose to pursue it. Despite the warnings, Marcus always made it very clear that music was what he wanted to do with his life. He went through school as somewhat of a wallflower, sticking to his own small circle of friends and keeping his head down, and spending most of his free time in the music room.

Miscellaneous Info:
Is never seen without a pair of headphones.
Has a van.
Rides his skateboard most places.
Are you still accepting new people for this?

EDIT: Or if not specifically for the band itself, what about for a recorder/producer (music + video)?

We've got enough players for the band itself, although you could always play a friend of the band turned roadie or maybe a manager or something? Although those kinds of roles wouldn't show up at the start, so you'd have to introduce the character later on in the story.
The thread is up now! Go post your character sheets there, and we'll start the RP once we're all ready.
Music. A universal language of unrivaled expression as old as society itself. It can make you smile, make you laugh, bring tears to your eyes or rhythm to your feet. It brings people together, from all walks of life. People who previously might have had nothing in common, can come together with mutual love of music, and form bonds stronger than any other friendship. These bonds are what creates a band. A group of like minded musicians who have their own stories to tell, and their own messages to share. How they choose to do that is up to them.

The stories of a young band, coming together to find their place in the world, are unique and often unexplored. These are the stories I want to tell. The members of a band could come from completely different walks of life, have different experiences to draw from, and different motivations that drive them, but all have one thing in common. A love of music. It's these differences that make a band such an interesting group. The clashes of personalities, and intimacy of the raw emotion that is so important in music, can lead to strong friendships, explosive confrontations, and passionate romances. It's high risk, high reward when creative people come together, with experiences to be had that are unique and unforgettable.

You play a young musician from a small town in northern Washington, and you're about ready to start a band and begin your journey! In this RP, we'll each play a member of a new up-and-coming band, and tell their story. We will start at the beginning, with the band coming together, and go from their, exploring the relationships between the band members, the band's journey through the industry, and the character's personal stories.

Rules:
1. Super simple, just be nice. Be respectful of your fellow Role-Players, and don't cause any unnecessary drama.
2. In-Character and Out-Of-Character are separate. Don't bring IC drama into OOC, and don't take your frustrations with a character out on the player, and vice-versa.
3. Another super simple one. No godmodding. That shouldn't need any explaining.
4. Your character will not be super experienced. The point is to be a fresh band, new to the industry. Your character can be talented at their chosen instrument, but keep in mind that they will still be fairly inexperienced when it comes to the music industry as whole. It is also important for character development, that a character does have flaws, and it isn't perfect in every way.
5. Try to post at least 2-3 times a week. If you can't post due to IRL issues, just let me know.
6. I'm not too picky when it comes to post length, as well as it is well detailed, and communicates your characters actions well, and allows for easy interaction.
7. Please try to use decent spelling and punctuation.
8. Most important. Have fun!

If you have any questions, let me know!

Alright, so we'll set it in a nameless (for now) small town, I'm thinking somewhere in Washington State? If we're all cool with this, I'll start up the RP thread, and we can start posting our characters!
@HushedWhispers@DawningAurora

I like that idea! I'm also thinking it'll start in a small-ish town somewhere. That way, if/when they first tour and see the big cities, it'll be more of a shock for them! So, a band comes to town, and because it's a rare occurrence maybe, they all end up there, and end up meeting and talking about starting a band.
