I didn't even know Life is Strange had a prequel before Fabricant mentioned it. Going to have to pull some money out of somewhere.

@Fabricant, I think I understand what you're saying, but it still made no sense.

"I'm fine," Solomon said.

He looked at the elven girl who was speaking to him.

Elizabeth was sitting with Ayaka and Mystique, eating her chicken. Ayaka had decided to ask what they were planning on doing after school was done and over with. Elizabeth was quite sure of what she intended to do. To others, it likely sounded far too big and arrogant, but Elizabeth knew it was she was meant to do, and was the only profession which was truly large enough to contain her.

"I intend to be the ruler of my own country," Elizabeth said.

Maybe I should have colonies... hmmm

So the commies want to be imperialists too?

Had this cloud-guider truly challenged him to single combat? For reasons, Jonathan could not seem to care of her request. He did not like where he was now, among these burning flames. This war-monger, this rabble-rouser dared to instigate something against him. He felt the anger rising in him, for how vain and presumptuous this girl was to sink to confrontation with him. She seemed so convinced that a fight was inevitable with him that she had already transformed herself into her battle suit. How vulgar it was, for her to wear a combat gi so mundane, so similar to that which those who were not great wore. Once he had retreated from challenges, but he was no longer that man, weakened by circumstances into a foul servile beast, and was now a great being. And yet, what did he gain from fighting. Nothing. Even worse, he had far more important things to do.

Both the cloud-guider and the space warrior would have to try a little harder if they really wanted to bar him from his noble path. There were many things for his self to discover. What the limitations, if any, of his powers, and what he had truly been made in to were the questions that plagued him. They were not questions that could be interrupted any longer, and they were more important than any hawkishness disguised as heroics. If they truly wanted to deal with him, they could go and follow him past his flames.

"Cloud-guider, let it be known and let it be clear, I take it upon myself with my own will to leave this crumbling inferno of flames that birthed our ascendancy. Out in the flames, peons take the lowly place that they have been ordained to occupy, and they die as they are consumed by the purifying flames. I can see it in both of your eyes, space warrior and cloud-guider, how you wish to denigrate yourself and enslave yourself to charity to those who are unworthy. If you truly care about my flames, than fight me and leave them to die in flames."

Flames came from Jonathan, from the palm of his very hands. They spurted about, reaching past him and going through everything in front of him. The flames did not aim for attack, but rather to close that path that his blast of fire had opened. Perhaps now he could finally have some peace from those fools.

Jonathan looked at the new arrival, who flew in on a puff of kinds, as if she had arrived upon a cloud. Upon inspection Jonathan saw that what she drove was indeed a cloud, in which she could traverse the air around her. He could feel it upon him when she arrived, that she was in a way alike to himself. His soul itself informed him of her presence and her nature, differentiating her from the mere mortals which he could sense. Her presence felt different from the fetid and mundane feel of the spirit of a human.

She spoke to him in an irreverent tone, but that was no matter at the time. He was still but a beginner at this new existence that the game of the circle of life had tossed at him. What respect he was deserving of and what respect she was deserving of was not apparent to him at the time. Certainly they were of a higher existence than the unremarkable men and women who lived out there. Could, however, they be exalted to the same level as he himself could.

He did not feel like he should discuss things at the time with them. No matter the power they could muster, with his newly arrived ascension, they could not bar him from anything. What they did was irrelevant to him, and he hoped that they would not distract him to much further.

"Forsooth, cloud-guider, of what purpose do you aim for, what goal do you surmount by speaking to me? Let it be known that from the burning path I have cindered across the scorched earth a pathway of flames. I go my own way now, for I feel the ascendancy. Indeed, you all follow your own hearts. So again, cloud-finder, what do you hope to accomplish with me?"
Solomon had earnestly expected a stronger opponent, as that rat looked rather menacing. He walked back inside, not caring of taking the spear from the rat. He sat down cross-legged as he came back in.
