And so, this was something about the pets. Elizabeth was intrigued by some of the questions which this rose, and concerned with some of the other questions this rose. Certainly, this was designed to teach all the knowledge which we could be taught, and the teaching was done neutrally. Perhaps Elizabeth would establish her own school of magic when she became ruler, where the negative teachings of the Academy could be suppressed.

Emphatic - being able to experience the feelings or sensations of another creature. This must have been designed to make the pet and the owner have a bond, of which would be closer than any other bond. Hopefully it could be turned off quickly, as to share pain would be quite a negative experience. Could it be stretched to its necessary conclusion, of sharing the poignancy of emotions to other like individuals? Could this be combined with suicide to be a sort of suicide attack? Mind Bonding, on the other hand, did not actually sound magical. Influence, on the other hand, made Elizabeth feel quite uncomfortable. Was there something more to this? There certainly had to be other elements to it, if a firmness was all it took. Lastly was illusion, which could be useful, although Elizabeth did not think that there would be any use of it on her pet.

Elizabeth raised her hand to ask, "Are these only applicable to our pets? They seem just as practical, or in the case of illusions even more so, on others."

Solomon let Avalon go as she went towards the Minotaur. He would prefer to remain in the background, especially with the banter in which was currently occurring. He could not really see himself taking it all too seriously. He had more serious concerns of his own, and would not involve himself in their struggles which were not altogether the most serious of struggles.

BTW, how's everyone with the fact Yllendthyr would use biodiesel?
Technically the equipment were more or less already there, especially if I have fairies make my filters.
The fact there was a great interest for biodiesel in the 20s and 30s.
Basically my colonies would be filled with seemingly endless plantations which will be delivered to large plants.
In WW2 Germans used coal to gain J2 fuel so it could work.
Perhaps I might be blending it with mineral diesel when the latter is in sufficient stock.

I've actually never heard of biodiesel until now, and at a glance it doesn't look so abnormal. What exactly is so odd about it?

Yeah, frankly I think we should just handwave it and make it possible for most species.

Why? Because it creates a potential story element.

Well, if we're going to take the scientific as opposed to the scientific approach, no species should then be able to interbreed.

On a different note what are everyone's thoughts on races?
I beleive we never wrote a profile on dwarves and gnomes, for example.
And even above that, are all the various races can interbreed with each other?
I mean can half-dwarves, half-trolls, half-gnomes and such exist?
I am pretty sure fairy halfbreeds are impossible, both on the genetical or even the physical level.

I'd like there to be there to be interbreeding. Interspecies romance/marriage will eventually become a major domestic issue in my nation, although it will probably be outside the timeline of this RP before this is realized to any meaningful extent.
