Denise was laying on her back, looking up at the clouds above. The air was so much fresher here. She wasn't sure yet if she liked that or not. It was a lot easier to breathe and it just felt....nice..somehow. But then there was another part of her which missed the smoke. Missed the burnt wastes of her homelands. She didn't much like it there to be fair, but somehow she still missed the place. Could it be her workshop? The thrill of freedom? This was as much a trip for herself as it was for her business. Who knows what she might experience in this mysterious land.

She was suddenly called back to this world by the infernal voice of her sister. Their native language was dark, coarse and almost a bit growly. The fact that it was spoken by a golem did not help it at all. It was like guttural growling noises with what could only be explained as 'heat' mixed into it. It just sounded...menacing or evil as the golem spoke.

"Guards at the gate....they don't look too friendly.." Denise turned around in the saddle and popped up behind the golem's head, resting her arms on it. Indeed, the guards looked terrified. Slightly less so when they saw Denise sitting on the back of the approaching hulk. They held their weapons at the ready, quite on edge as the golem every so slowly made it's way to the gate.

"Hello there!" Denise said and waved at them. "I seek entrance into the city to sell my wares. Mainly magitek, trinket and runes. I also do enchantments and carve runes into whatever you want it carved into." She smiled brightly before tossing over a traders license from Nethren port to show that she was a real trader.

The guard looked through the paper before nodding and handing it back. "Follow the flags to get to the different marketplaces. Just make sure you keep the golem on a very tight leash. We don't need a rampage in the streets." He moved out of the way and let them through. Denise smiled and accepted the paper back before patting the golem's head and it started walking in.

There was a wide grin on her face as Denise looked around at the crowd. Just one bomb here.... She shook the thought out of her head. She would not let her other side take over. The hunger would never win over her mind.

She shook her head. For now she would try to get her stuff sold. They made their way to the first district, apparently the eastern one. The hulking monstrosity that was her golem walked towards the centre of the market with Denise standing on its shoulders.

"Trinkets! Relics! Magitek and more normally reserved for daemon hunters and explorers now available from the famous Le Rouge emporium!" She shouted loudly, augmenting her voice to be heard clearly throughout the marketplace.

"Yeah, it's ok. I just need to polish and fix it a little bit, hopefully." Pat smiled and blew a kiss up towards Riley since no one really was around. "If nothing else I'll have to get it repainted, but that I can mainly do myself if I find the right colours for it. Might just put some racing stripes on it," she said and laughed. She turned towards the bike and polished the mark a little more to see how big the damage was. It wasn't that bad, thank goodness.

Pat got up after a little while and walked over to their tent. She wondered if this would even be needed any longer. But that didn't matter. Perhaps they would show up soon enough? She zipped the entrance and changed into a swimsuit. Pat looked down her body for a moment and felt quite uncomfortable but then shook her head and unzipped the entrance and walked out.

"I'll be on the beach if you need me Riley," she said and walked down to the water and laid down. Pat looked around for a moment. "There's only girls here," she said quietly before untying the back of the top and exposed her back to the warm sun. It had felt like ages since she last sunbathed since her ex was not really into that at all.
Sure. ^^
That works.
Louise woke up early that morning. Normally she needed forever to get going, but today was extra so. She had stayed up way too late last night worrying and preparing for her first day as a professor instead of student. Sure, she had been a substitute and intern before, but this was a much different thing. From now on she would be responsible for her classes all by herself. It was gnawing at her mind. Was she really up to it? There was only one way to find out.

Eventually she rolled out of the bed and walked into the bathroom for a good and long shower. She smiled at her reflection in the mirror before she put towels around her body and hair and started making breakfast for herself soon after. After the coffee had brewed she poured it all into a thermos, a habit from her days working extra, ate her breakfast and got herself ready for the day.

A quarter to eight she was sitting in her study and started reviewing her material for the class, ancient religions. Not the most popular topic at the school, only had a few students. Louise sighed and grabbed her thermos and walked into the classroom and poured herself a cup of coffee and added a few pieces of sugar. Now there was only to wait foe the students to arrive. Perhaps even some she had shared classes with when she was a student? She started looking through the names, only two she recognized.

Name: Louise Carlsson
Age: 26
Bio: Freshly off the boat, as they say. Even though it has been three years in an American college she still is considered an outsider by many. She has never really adapted to the American way of life and how things work here. She came to America under an exchange student program for teachers, having studied it in her native lands of Sweden for a few years prior to moving. She hoped that it would be a fresh start. New faces, new lands, new everything. Things have not turned out the way she hoped, but oh well.
Subjects: History, Religion, and Swedish for those few interested.
Otay!
I'll chuck mine in tomorrow.
*Flails*
Just too late. D:
Oh well, if a spot opens up, I'm all for it.
