Bio

Hello fellow Guild members. I'm Zmerr. I love to roleplay. I am very loyal to my roleplays and will honestly let you know when or if I have lost interest. In return, I trust that anyone I may be playing with does the same. I play a wide range of settings with the exception of most supernatural themes. I am almost always willing to try new things and love originality. I'm easy-going and I'm not particularly picky about grammar, though I take pride in my own. I can post anywhere from one sentence to ten paragraphs depending on the situation, though I try to keep it in a range of two to five paragraphs.

Also- If I suddenly seem super busy, don't mistake it as a lack of interest. I'm also the leader of a roleplay guild in Guild Wars 2 and often hold meetings and such.

Just a heads up, I'm out of town this whole week and will be unable to access the internet for most of the time. If you're waiting for me, I apologize. Please proceed as though things are normal.
I'm going to be really inactive until next week.
This just got pretty intense...

Pm me as well with of possible an word of how its been resolved and I will make an apology for this post

I'm hoping things will come together soon. It's just a matter of communicating and perhaps a little compromise. Sometimes, that's how these things go.
Guys, relax. The humans took over by number and technology. Everything they had was more to date than the non-humans. Plus, with the chips, they're all controlled and can't say no. So literally every human fought in the war. I would imagine that some of the non-humans ran or decided not to fight. They were also too different and a racial gap prevented them from working together until they realized they were sorely outnumbered that way. Unfortunately, it was too late for them.

No....That's actually a good idea.Head towards the mountain- say a roar caught her ear, and she wanted to see what it was. Then you could fight EmFell, who would beat you but not kill you, and then you can listen to reason. Good, yeah? You get beaten for the first time ever, and EmFell prevents another race from going extinct because they wouldn't change their ways.

I like this idea

Problem: Shax fights to the death. If she gets beaten, she expects to be dead, if she's not dead, she'll keep fighting until she is or her enemy is. Or the enemy runs away. Being 'beaten' won't make her listen to reason, it'll make one of them dead. (Pretty sure Shax doesn't have the same concept of 'reason' as most do anyway.)It'd be damn great if I could tone her down, but from what she's shown so far I don't know how it's possible. She's already made it clear to them that she'll fight anyone and anything just because they're there, so toning it down from that without redacting everything she's done so far doesn't seem possible. She's been doing what she does for a long, long time and still isn't bored of it. Why would she need to make friends to have fun? She could just as easily fight the 'friends' for her pleasure instead of telling jokes. Also, didn't Zmerr say that every character CAN die? Including your 'goddess'? Because I mean, she isn't actually a goddess anymore, she's banished.

At this point, I'm not concerned about how she's shown herself. The player can make the character be what they want it to be.

Threatening to burn an Infernus Demon to death is like threatening to drown a mermaid.

Me and Apollo are currently working on a collab post which should be in soon. Soon Zelda and Midna will finally be able to meet after so much conspiracy and espionage going on.

Sounds good *thumbs up*

I already understand that I need a reason for her to calm down a little, the problem is obviously finding that reason. I know her best so I should know what that reason would be, but it's also BECAUSE I know her so well that I have no idea what reason would get her to calm down and work alongside others. I mean, she's so confident in her own abilities and so in love with fighting things she would happily take on a town-sized Dragon for no other reason than to have a good, challenging fight. By nature she isn't just a fighter, she's a loner, a survivor, and it's been that way since she was barely capable of walking. Buddying up with a bunch of others for 'survival' makes no sense to her since, well, she'd been 'surviving' alone in a realm far more hostile than this one for most of her life.Honestly, if anyone comes up with a reason I'm all ears, but so far I've had no ideas that would work. Well... Other than one, but it would require a team effort.

I just don't want you to be offended if that loner, fighter personality gets her into trouble. and please, please, please don't have her fight the dragon. she's caused enough damage to herself, don't you think? I'm fairly certain just about every character having been involved with her so far is not interested. I'm not saying quit playing her, because she is interesting, but I might ask if you could perhaps tone her down a bit. I know I had to tone Zmerr down. I've used him for other RPs. He's by nature, a total ass. But in order to make this gel, we need everyone to be at least a little cooperative because otherwise, someone's going to get killed or left out. That's never fun.

Oh, I have no doubts about how hard it would be. Shax wouldn't be getting through a fight like that without some serious hurt, but I'll still tell you that you shouldn't underestimate her. I don't care how big and old this Dragon is, Shax can hurt it, and if she can hurt it, she can kill it.It doesn't matter if it's more NPC than player. It doesn't matter how powerful it is. A creature as big as that, and as old as that, has a weak point. If it's as big as a town, then I'm sure it'll have a lot of fun trying to pinpoint Shax when she's sprinting around, jumping up its limbs, clinging on like something from Shadow of the Colossus. It'd be a truly epic fight, but I am confident in both Shax and my own ability to roleplay.

How about we just don't fight with the dragon. I think, in general, things are a little too tense. Bearsworth, I understand Shax is a fighter by nature, but you're screwing yourself over by making her so. The people are almost completely divided because of the spat between she and Thomas. You MUST find a reason for her to relax or else she WILL get left out. that's the nature of survival. Likewise, The dragon will be killing no one without their consent. They can have fighting personalities or whatever, but EVERYONE PLEASE QUIT FIGHTING EACH OTHER AND DIVIDING THE CHARATERS. It makes it hard for those of us who are trying to keep them together.
