Bio

Hello fellow Guild members. I'm Zmerr. I love to roleplay. I am very loyal to my roleplays and will honestly let you know when or if I have lost interest. In return, I trust that anyone I may be playing with does the same. I play a wide range of settings with the exception of most supernatural themes. I am almost always willing to try new things and love originality. I'm easy-going and I'm not particularly picky about grammar, though I take pride in my own. I can post anywhere from one sentence to ten paragraphs depending on the situation, though I try to keep it in a range of two to five paragraphs.

Also- If I suddenly seem super busy, don't mistake it as a lack of interest. I'm also the leader of a roleplay guild in Guild Wars 2 and often hold meetings and such.

Name: Wheatley
Game: Portal 2
Short description of abilities: For the sake of this roleplay, he will be an android. Literally created to be an idiot, but will never admit to it. Klutz. Good at coming up with bad ideas.
Appearance (Preferably picture): Six foot seven with glasses and a British accent.

I was hoping that the characters would be from existing video games because non-existent video games would mean OCs which kind of defeats the purpose of the roleplay. Now, if you play a game like World of Warcraft and want to use a character that you made there, that could work because there is some kind of reference to go off of.

I'm not saying that characters have to be exactly the way they appear in the game either. Add your own twist if you'd like. I'm changing my character a little bit to fit the roleplay. In the game, he's a robot and doesn't have any arms or legs so i'm going to turn him into an android.

As for drops and stuff, that's pretty easy. you can make it be anything really. Because this is a mash-up of whatever games people want, the items can also be from various games. Though I do request that they are within reason. If an enemy drops and item like Nayru's Love or something, it better be a one time use with a definite end of effect. Either that or don't make it a drop. Make it harder to get than just killing an enemy.

I'll be putting my CS up in a few minutes.

It's back *thumbs up*

Name: Zmerr
Age: Unknown
Race: Asura (Based off of a character I play in Guild Wars. I added my own twist to make him completely mine and almost original)
Abilities: Engineer. Great with technology and a master inventor.
Weapon of choice: Plasma guns.
Personality: Means well. Straight forward, often appearing rude or snotty. Honest. Reliable.
Appearance:

Short bio:Zmerr was born and raised in a the rich jungle city of Norann. Despite being surrounded by the jungle, the people of Norann knew little of their surroundings. They often preferred to stay inside. The Asura were creative mecha builders by nature. Being a part of such a class, Zmerr learned and perfected the art of engineering. When he was young, his father was found to be a cheater and left his family shortly after. This dampened Zmerr's attraction to romance to almost non-existent. After her husband left, Zmerr's mother became distant. Due to the lack of his mother's attention, Zmerr became attached to his slightly older cousin, Youmme. Youmme was a trickster and a delinquent. She often teased Zmerr about his unusually petite structure. Even though Zmerr hated his cousin's endless jeers and pranks, she was really the only one to ever pay him any attention. One day, Youmme played a prank on him that changed his life in unimaginable ways. She led him into the jungle, telling him that there was an abandoned city. It had been a trap. She sneaked away when he wasn't paying attention and left him to his own devices. He wandered the jungle for an unmeasured amount of time. He finally found his way out and sought refuge. During the time he'd spent in the jungle, the world had been "purged" of non-humans and he was forced to evacuate. He found a deserted island and made a home for himself among the ruins.
Just copy them from the old page. I have to do mine too, but my power just went out so I'm on my phone again.
A disconcerting mixture of empty black space and green code fill your vision. The blocky numbers of codes and data fly past you, making a twisting tunnel with no clear direction. There's a weird humming sound and you feel completely numb. The pin-and-needles kind of numb. Like your body is vanishing around your brain. And then-

-everything goes black. When you open your eye(s), you're laying in a field of tall, green grass. You sit up ad realize, everything has changed. You are no longer in the last place you remember being in. You're no longer even in your own body. You've taken on the form of a video game character. In your head, your memories have been replaced with those of that character. You are now literally that character.

Basically, this roleplay is a mash-up of every game the players throw together. Pick a character from any video game and become that person. Together, as a group, we will find our way to wherever it is we belong.

Character Entry Format:
Name:
Game:
Short description of abilities:
Appearance (Preferably picture):

Rules:
1) No character is better than another. This is to keep things fair. Traditionally, Link is "better" than Ganondorf, but in this case, each person is being played by a real person. So, no killing, injuring or subjecting another character to a life-changing situation without their consent.
2) Keep it PG-13. There's nothing wrong with romance, but try to keep the spicy stuff limited to PMs.
3) Post frequently. It becomes really difficult to keep things going when a major character is missing for days and everyone is waiting for their response. After a week of inactivity without warning, we will write your character out. That might include but is not limited to death.
4) Give some warning. I'm going to make it the three day rule. If you know you're going to be unavailable or difficult to reach for 3 or more days, post about it in the OOC. That way we can play around if we need to.
5) Be creative. This is just as much your roleplay as it is mine. You don't need permission to shake things up a bit. I hate roleplays with that "what I say goes" rule. So be original. The only time I'd ask for you to pass it by me is if you strongly feel it might break one of the rules.
6) keep it interesting. Just because I said keep it PG-13 does not mean make it dull. Profanity is fine. I'll probably use some myself. Also, if you want to ad gore, go ahead. Kill people or whatever.
7) Have fun! This is just as much your roleplay as it is mine, so enjoy it! If it gets boring or you don't like something, tell the rest of us.
DISCLAIMER: NOT BASED OFF THE GAME!!!!!!!

~This is a roleplay that I created some time ago. It was quite successful and then the players got busy. I would like to start it up again and create a new adventure for the people who sign up!~

There were so few of them now. Only a few stragglers. Not even enough to justify the title of race. But, to the humans? They all belonged to the same race. The "Non-humans." The term, however non-offensive it might sound, is practically synonymous with the word "dead."

The human government had discovered something called the "microchip" some time ago. They started doing crazy experiments with the things, and before the world knew it, almost everyone had one implanted into their brains. When the human government had decided that they were the superior race, they tuned everyone's microchips to the same frequency. The "chipped" suddenly became hostile to anyone not like them. This included anyone not born of human lineage and those humans born with the ability to perform magic. A war soon broke out. Countless lives were ended. Countless races and species went extinct. The humans literally ruled the world.

They ruled the entire world. Well, except one little plot. The Island of Ruins. The remaining Non-humans fled from the bloodthirsty humans and found safety among the ancient ruins of a long extinct people group.

They now have to survive the dense forest and make livable homes among the mazes and rubble of the deteriorating buildings. All coming from different backgrounds and different parts of the world, it almost seems impossible, but it's amazing what can happen when unfriendlies have a common enemy.

Awesome! When I get to my computer, I'll put the roleplay up! Thanks guys! I'm so glad to be playing with so many people I'm familiar with. New people are, of course, always welcome.
