Bio

Hello fellow Guild members. I'm Zmerr. I love to roleplay. I am very loyal to my roleplays and will honestly let you know when or if I have lost interest. In return, I trust that anyone I may be playing with does the same. I play a wide range of settings with the exception of most supernatural themes. I am almost always willing to try new things and love originality. I'm easy-going and I'm not particularly picky about grammar, though I take pride in my own. I can post anywhere from one sentence to ten paragraphs depending on the situation, though I try to keep it in a range of two to five paragraphs.

Also- If I suddenly seem super busy, don't mistake it as a lack of interest. I'm also the leader of a roleplay guild in Guild Wars 2 and often hold meetings and such.

-Laughs- What's Legend of Zelda without Link waking up in a bed?
Whealtey looked a little dumbfounded as the man began to walk away. "If there are any animals then they should be more afraid of me then I of them..." "Right. Of course. Animals are nothing." He chuckled awkwardly, stumbling after the man. He took large steps to catch up. "I think we should introduce ourselves. "My name's Wheatley. I understand the humans typically have *last* names as well as first ones, but I only have the one. Fortunately, it seems to be rather uncommon." He fell in step with the man. Hid anxiety was beginning to fade. He fiddled with his tie as they walked along, the distraction allowing him to forget the flaming girl and her "opponents." He smiled, glad to not be alone. Glad that this might be going somewhere. That he might be able to rest peacefully for once in his long mechanic life. In the meantime, he dug his way through files in his hard drive, looking for the mysterious voice. He was embarrassed that it existed. Surely it was some kind of punishment from the insane AI, GLaDOS. But, like any Aperture Science invention, there had to be an off switch. So he continued to dig. Finally, he came across a file labeled *Emergency Cooldown Protocols.* He opened it and read the code without even seeing it. It seemed simple enough. Just switch this off... and this... and this... and- "*Emergency Cooldown Protocol customized. This function can no longer operate without administrator consent. Change Emergency Cooldown Protocol settings?*" "Yes." Wheatley smiled triumphntly. "*Emergency Cooldown Protocol customization applied. Thank you for choosing Aperture Science.*" "Not a problem, mate." He laughed. "No more weird voices. Sorry about that. First day in the new body." He flexed a thin arm for emphasis.
> Well when you consider waking up in a place with no recollection on how you got there, I suppose weird takes on a new form and things are not as plainly obvious. But Wesker is incredibly intelligent so I am sure he will make the connection in time. However Wesker comes from a world with biological creatures in which he himself pretty much created, so he has never heard of the concept of an android per say. He deals in flesh and blood creatures that try to rip other people apart on sight. Should I wait and give the others a chance to post or are we playing by ear, I never asked about the posting amount rule. Since it's pretty much us for now, I'd say go ahead because no one is really going to be immediately effected by us leaving. But let's just keep it to one more interaction for now.
> Lol you just got a whole lot more insane. But meh we all have our crosses to bare lmao. You know what would really be funny is if Wesker spoke some sort of binary code or some shit and messed you up for a minute. Hahahaha that would be hilarious, but alas I am not going to do that xD one he doesn't and wouldn't know your robotic, two i don't think it would work that way an three you would kill me lol It *would* be amusing. Though, I think it would have been quite obvious that he's robotic. It wasn't like he was talking to himself. There was another voice (not coming from his mouth) talking about a cooldown. I'd like to see Wheatley try to kill someone and actually do real damage. -Laughs- But I plan to fix the cooldown issue within the next few posts. I'm going to have him figure out how to turn off the emergency response thing. Or at least tone it down. Right now, it's going off whenever he hes to think too hard or whenever he feels a strong emotion. That could get 1)annoying and 2)get him killed.
Wheatley turned to look at the man who had spoken. He was slightly confused as the man had used the words "fool" and "intelligent" in the same sentence with both referring to him. He stood up to get a better look at the man's face. He was just barely shorter. That alone surprised him. But what was more surprising was the orange glow in the man's eyes he'd seen just seconds before standing. It was gone now and made him wonder if he'd really seen it. "Um, are you familiar with this place? No of course not." Wheatley shook his head the way he did when he knew his idea was a bad one. "But where would we go? I mean, this field- it's *huge!* I'm sure it isn't the only part of this world- or whatever this place is- but what if night falls and we're still walking and- oh what if there are animals?! I've never seen an animal before. I wouldn't know what to do!" His mind was whirring with questions and scary answers. He could hear the circuitry humming in his own head. "*System overload. Emergency cooldown in 5...-*" "No no no no no! That is not necessary!" He pressed his hands to his ears in a slightly desperate gesture. "*Stalemate detected. Instructions?*" The tinny voice didn't sound the least bit sincere. Whoever created it obviously didn't really care. "Cancel cooldown?" Wheatley looked sheepishly at the man. "*Cooldown cancelled.*" "Good." He let out a slight sigh of relief. "Sorry about that. There has to be some kind of setting inhere somewhere to turn that off. Anyways. Forget the animals. Let's go." He chuckled nervously and ran his hand through his hair making it stick up again. "I'll figure it out on the way." He was talking the way he did when he had no idea what he was doing. Overconfident and reassuring. Like he was trying to convince himself that he wasn't a moron and that he could figure this out if he tried hard enough. He hoped the man would interpret all of this as just being confused. Maybe even tack it under "nervous wreck of an android."

> > > I decided to keep my distance for now lol Wesker would have got into a fight if he intervened, perhaps that is best saved for late ^^ > > > > Probably a good idea for now. Terra is under an immense amount of stress and she's clearly not pleased with the people who have already gathered around her. Adding another person to the mix could very likely set her off. However, I think Wesker should at least start to involve himself with some of the other people. Perhaps have him meet Wheatley? He doesn't have to be nice about it. Question him, insult him, whatever. Just don't kill him -Laughs- > > Whenever she calms down haha he will move in. I am playing this as close to Weskers personality as possible with my own add on's of course, and um well to put it lightly he has a god complex so anything he says is gonna set her off lol. I had an idea of how to get him involved ill pm it to you see what you think. I responded.
> > DELSIN KNOWS > > > > . > > > > I just realized, Infamous is set to be played in the real world, meaning FF and DRR should exist in it. > > > > but he is not a gamer, so he wont know Terra, but our cowboy friend is someone he should recognize even if only by having seen the games cover once. > > I don't think it really matters one way or the other. I think that was just Zmerr's way of explaining a situation in which any character from any game would be present. I don't think it was ever actually meant to be figured out. > > Even if it was aren't you sort of jumping the gun, we've barely gotten through character introductions. In most stories it's best to establish the status quo of whatever world your writing about before you introduce plot twists to shake up said status quo. Introducing the idea that we are video game characters isn't going to be as big a deal as it would be if it was revealed later after we've gotten acquainted with each other and established the illusion that we know what's going on and what must be done. > > I'm just saying that pointing out that particular face at this rather delicate moment in the story is likely a bad idea. I agree on this point. I *do* think that something should happen, but not necessarily the unraveling of the big problem. Perhaps, within the next few posts (especially of Terra does indeed pass out) we move out and find shelter. Then we can address more serious issues.
Ganondorf sat back with a distressed look on his face. He'd been at it for hours now. Planning. The hardest part of being a king was planning. There was a pile of crumpled papers next to him on the floor. Balls of useless ideas carelessly chucked off the side of the desk while a new stream of ideas was written on a clean sheet of paper. For all the time he'd spent on this, he'd come to no substantial idea and now he was drawing a complete black. It angered him and he picked the book up and threw it across the room with a roar. It bounced off the floor and smacked into an ancient-looking candelabra, causing the spindly piece of furniture to collapse and throw candles all over the other side of the room. This angered him further and he walked to the fallen, bent candelabra and *kicked* it. It clattered against the wall and bent even more, shards of broken decorative glass sprinkling the floor and his boot. "I'll never get anywhere with this!" He kicked the candelabra again, the bent portion cracking. "Unbelievable." He kicked it again and it broke. He walked away, deciding he'd done a sufficient amount of damage to the faultless furniture. "Yilla, order the maids in." "Yes, My Lord." The guard's voice echoed from down the hall. It was followed by the pattering of feet urgently running. Within minutes, three young Gerudo women entered his chambers and helped him get ready for bed. When they left, he laid down, head swimming with a mixture of irritation and anticipation. Things were about to get very interesting.
Wheatley probably didn't hear what Delsin said to him. He walked away after Terra's response.
