Bio

Hello fellow Guild members. I'm Zmerr. I love to roleplay. I am very loyal to my roleplays and will honestly let you know when or if I have lost interest. In return, I trust that anyone I may be playing with does the same. I play a wide range of settings with the exception of most supernatural themes. I am almost always willing to try new things and love originality. I'm easy-going and I'm not particularly picky about grammar, though I take pride in my own. I can post anywhere from one sentence to ten paragraphs depending on the situation, though I try to keep it in a range of two to five paragraphs.

Also- If I suddenly seem super busy, don't mistake it as a lack of interest. I'm also the leader of a roleplay guild in Guild Wars 2 and often hold meetings and such.

@Li Sorry to hear that. Have fun, yourself, alright?
Already formulating.
This will certainly be very interesting. I want to give the others a chance to post before I reply though. I like where this is going GodOfWar.
The Happy Mask Salesman flitted about his small shop, turning newly displayed masks to perfect angles and humming a light tune. Tomorrow would be a good day. He just knew it. The festival always proved to be absolutely wonderful on his typically empty pockets. It made up for the rest of the year where money and mask-wearing children were a little more scarce.

He counted exactly fourteen handmade, wooden masks - the finest - as he hung them. There were of course many more behind the counter. There was no doubt that there would be far more than fourteen people at the festival. It was a sort of trade secret. If it looked like there weren't enough masks for everyone, people were more likely to buy them at a higher prices.

Once all the masks were straightened, he recounted - fourteen. But his collection, however colorful and creative, seemed a little lackluster. An idea came to his head and he made a sound of sudden excitement. He ran behind the counter, producing a colorful, heart-shaped mask with horns around the rim and huge orange eyes. He grins at it. Majora's Mask.

Of course, it wasn't the real Majora's Mask. That would be asking for trouble. But it would certainly attract people. Most likely older people who knew the legend of the child who stole the mask. It would be more of a sentimental value - the memories of the bedtime story would likely light up the faces of the people who entered the shop.

He walked over to his display, placing the mask in the center. He thinks for a moment before deciding on a price. The other masks ranged from seventy-five rupees to one-hundred and fifty. He tacked a tag on it that indicated that the mask could be bought for four-hundred. There was only one in his stock of course. It wouldn't make any sense to sell it for the same price as the others.
Do you want us to wait before we post?
There's also the thing about the Gerudo only producing one male every one hundred years. There could be the possibility that it's a different person altogether and kind of follows the generational thing that the Hero and Zelda do.

Or perhaps (probably an outrageous idea) he's not even Gerudo and the Triforce of power has fallen into the hands of a new enemy.
I was thinking something more along the lines of, Hyrule and Gerudos trade freely and the kings are friendly with one another. Then Ganondorf poisons king, blames Zelda for it and takes over... "Temporarly" To restore peace.

Which would give me more space to move.
I've tossed the idea out there for a Guild Wars 2 roleplay some time ago and was rather pleased with the responses. Now I wish to throw it out there again. Heart of Thorns is so close I can almost taste it. I'd like to try to set something up where myself and whoever responds to this can play with the current lore and perhaps slide into the new stuff when it's revealed. Any takers?

Also- I'm tagging this as steampunk because Guild Wars 2 really does feel steampunk to me.
Well obviously it's a new Hyrule much the different between Twilight Princess Hyrule and Ocarina of Time Hyrule, the world doesn't follow any of the configurations of the previous games but we're still going to have most of not all if the familiar settings. I mean would you play a Zelda game that didn't have a Death Mountain? Okay their are one or two exceptions to that I know, you don't have to point them out. My point is Zelda needs her Hyrule Castle, Saria needs her Kokiri Forest, Gorons need Death Mountain. We're not going be using a map from an old game but we're going to have all these kinds of classic Zelda locations. So how are they positioned in this new world.

Perhaps use a familiar map as a base and add onto it.
Shall we say it looks completely different from any of the games? Barring obvious things like the kokiri being in the forest and stuff. That way we could have a more flexible setting with more opportunity to make new interesting locations.

also CDi zelda was best zelda.

I would say this makes the most sense. We have people from different games here and some of them require parts of the map that didn't exist in other games. Perhaps we should make our own map (Don't ask me >.< I can barely read a map, much less draw one.)
