Personality: Despite having done some training in both combat and sailing, Yvonne lacks confidence. She fears that she is not cut out for the life of raiding and waging battles, but she is eager to prove herself, and masks her lack of confidence behind both wit and charm. Her chance to prove herself is sure to come sooner rather than later. Bio: Her father was killed in battle when she was only a small child, and her mother died to sickness only a handful of years later. Yvonne and her twin sister Yasmine learned to rely on themselves from a young age, and became even closer because of it, but Yvonne has lost her confidence in her own capabilities after a mistake she made caused her sister to become severely injured and crippled to the point where she cannot partake in raids and can only stay home and tend their family's farm. Equipment: A battleaxe and round shield. Extras: Twins run in her family as she and her sister are twins, and their mother was also a twin.
Hey all! I'm back after a long absence from this site and desperate to satisfy my desire to roleplay (and combat my boredom) with some post-apocalyptic stories. I have some plots listed below, but I'm also open to a more generic zombie apocalypse or other survival story. I prefer the plot to focus just as much on the characters' relationships as they attempt to rebuild a thriving society as it does on surviving and fighting zombies/mutants/aliens. If you have a plots of your own that you want to run by me then I'd be happy to hear them. I'm very open to any ideas you have, as long as you're open to mine as well.
~A bit about me~ I'm in my 20s, and do prefer to play with someone who is over 18 (just more comfortable for me that way) but I'm not looking for sex in these roleplays. If it comes up, I prefer fade to black. I will happily play either gender, and will more than likely play multiple characters in any rolpley. I don't consider myself a demanding partner, and I actually prefer free to low casual roleplays that are fast-paced with lots of back and forth posts, so don't feel like you need to post, like, 10 paragraphs or whatever. 1 to 2 paragraphs is always fine by me, and I don't mind the occasional one liner either. Roleplaying for me is just about having fun.
The world has been hit by second Ice Age. No amount of advanced technology can save humanity from the rapidly plunging temperatures, and as the world literally freezes, civilization crumbles into nothing but scattered bands of people trying to survive off of whatever they can use to keep themselves alive. Now decades after the dawn of the apocalypse, humanity's best chance for survival lies with a coal-powered haven in the middle of the frozen tundra. This final bastion is humanity's sole hope for a better tomorrow, but there is another threat looming other than simply the freezing temperatures. The new Ice Age has given birth to a new race that is posed to replace humankind as the dominant species on the planet.
Many decades after the collapse of civilization due to a nuclear war that ended with the release of a deadly new bio-weapon that caused the dead to rise, a small group of survivors are traveling around the zombie-infested landscape in an old school bus, searching for a supposedly safe settlement that they heard about in a radio transmission. But does this place really exist? Will they even make it there in one piece? And if they do find the settlement, will they be able to rebuild humanity from the ashes?
Earth is in a state of decay. Overpopulation, depletion of natural resources, and high levels of pollution have forced the planet's leaders to look to the stars for answers, and they eventually locate a planet that is theorized to be inhabitable. They send a small ship to colonize the planet, and secure a future for the human race. But just because the planet is able to sustain human life, doesn't mean that it is welcoming of human life. The planet is filled with strange perils, and also a native race that does not take kindly to humans showing up to claim the planet as their own. Is this world big enough for the two species to coexist, or is a war the only way to solve the conflict?
Aliens are among us, and we have no idea. We don't realize that the invasion has already begun before it is too late. It begins in several small towns all around the globe. Women and girls are suddenly learning that they're pregnant overnight, many without ever having sex. The phenomenon is only the beginning, as the alien race is preparing for a colonization of the planet without the use of a single conventional weapon. The first wave of invaders will soon be born.
Humans are no longer the dominant species on Earth. A race of aliens took over nearly a century ago, and now they keep humans as slaves and livestock. But humans are not about to just accept their fate. A small group of rebels is preparing for a revolution, but they are hopelessly outmatched and outnumbered unless they can free enough slaves and convince them to join the cause to overthrow their alien overlords and take back the planet for humankind.
Zombies roam the world in massive hoards, and what few humans that survived from the plague that wiped out more than 99% of the world's population and transformed the fallen into walking corpses now reside in fortified bunkers. But there is a constant need for food and other supplies in order for the survivors to remain alive, and so they must struggle to gather whatever they can while attempting to build something for the future at the same time. In this devastated world, everyone goes to bed simply relieved to have survived another day.
In a medieval fantasy realm, two kingdoms have waged war on one another for decades, until the sudden and unexpected arrival of a massive horde of goblins. The vile creatures overwhelm the war-weary armies on both sides and overrun the lands, burning and pillaging until both kingdoms are left in ruin. Years later, the remnants of the two kingdoms have come together to rebuild what was lost. But to have any hope of surviving in this now goblin-infested world, the heir to each of the once great kingdoms must learn to trust one another.
