About the Role Play
This role play takes place in an earth like world, technology is not how we have it, yet it is farther. This is a mixed era world. Similar to Naruto, or the Soul Society in Bleach, it has in areas or the land, a primitive or more less modern civilization look too it. Do not forget the feel. However, there are some future and modern era technologies, like a transit train from point A to point B. There are solar panels. An inner power flows through the body of all, what it is called, how it is used or what it even looks like would all depend on the person who uses it and how they were or are training with it.
One such fighter or warrior could easily use this as a form of rage, similar to the Sith in Star Wars, relying on their emotion of anger and rage to use this power for strong force like attacks in their movements. The land is wide open with small settlement around, even village like places. The major areas being cities in which a feudal/futuristic modern era world intermixes.
While there maybe TV's, Holographic or Camera Screen phones, both handheld and wall mounted or computers, that of course us electricity or solar energy, there are no cars of vehicles of any kind other then what the mass use together. Travel is rare on these other the business, work or merchants. Most people if ever leaving use means of domesticated beings or even walk. Something that is far more common then what one would think.
There is an inner power that everyone has, and as said, what it is called depends on some. It might be magika, mana, rage, runes, hotdogs, you name it. Generally, I call it inner power as of now. It can be soul, spirit, Atman, essence, etc. This is how some people fight or do daily things, with this power.
General Rules
The rules are fairly simple to follow. They are bound and formed to not only keep order and peace from people, say, trolls, from ruining the experience of the role play. This is also to enforce and maintain balance as to not have people say, grab lightning with out a logical reason, or punch the moon. Both of which is also referring to people who know who they are, but it is not saying they were not fine, theirs was justified, but the system here prevents things like that from happening. Based how this is, no one really should be using black holes, supernovas, meta/auto-hitting.
It brings a bit of realism into the world of anime fantasy. This has the vibe of an anime world, but if there is no reason at all, I should not be seeing a 600 pound man in full plated armor who is pure fat, out run a person who is specifically and clearly built smaller to be more maneuver, faster, but weaker in terms of strength capability. So how you build your character determines really what he can do.
EXAMPLE
Use this as an example, A soldier from WWII should not be send to the past and be able to easily use the skills, and use the sword of a samurai and cut down trained samurai like it is nothing. While you can build this skill, hence the word build, you should not auto-gain any skills simply because you know how it works in your real life brain. Keep it realistic to the point that does not happen. This is not Bleach, your sword will not automatically transfer the knowledge too you. Also, I am looking at you person who just got that idea or had it. Don't try it.
I WILL SAY THIS, if you have an idea, and you are not totally sure if it is OK, as I am fairly sure and I understand some of you will be or are confused how the world is and works. So, likewise, if you have an idea, or what you would like to have your character as or be, what ever the case, come to Zorlock or I about it. We are fully capable of answering the question since we both understand each other on what the world is like. We want you to be and feel comfortable, so please, do not hesitate.
You can also look over Zorlock and my own characters to get an idea of what you might be able too do. Keep it simple, and by that I mean do not try to make your guy convert little energy of magic to cause a black hole to erupt and destroy the entire world. This is both boring, and down right idiotic since I just said what we do not want. Since this is now stated, I rather not see this and I will also know who is or isn't doing it out of being a troll.
No powers that affect the reality of the world around you.
No attacks that would ultimate destroy the entire verse, like absolute zero or a black hole.
Character Rules
When making a character. You can not start powerful and have powerful equipment or even be skilled to the max. You start out as any other adventurer would start out. decent in a few skills, but weak in a lot of others, though you can learn more skills and gain better equipment through out your time in the RP. Don't worry, Nobody will be ignored in this RP, Rewards will go out to those that work for it and want it.
All of your Equipment (Weapons/armor/devices) and skills will be looked at. Your Character sheet will be read thoroughly. You start with basic equipment, like a normal sword or some other type of weapon, whatever it is, it will be looked at and it can not be something powerful.
When making a character, if you don't feel comfortable at all and feel that you will get a big fat no, because it may be to powerful. Just let us know, and we will look into it and help you with it, Me (Zorlock) and shisko will gladly help you.
Classes are optional. They will help us describe your character. What he/she is based around, their goals of becoming the arch mage or the most powerful person alive. That's up to you and be original!
