Pyra continues idly tossing the rock as Zay talks about their mission. "So we're just checking on grain production? Boring. Necessary, I suppose, but boring nonetheless. Lok'sha, however... interesting." Pyra had never seen a Lok'sha before, outside of a section during his learning about the various races of the land, but, of course, focused the most on Eldi.

"If we come across a Colossal class, you better be pretty damn clever, or hope you have a devil's luck, because there's no other way you're getting out of there." He says dryly in response to the idiot boasting. "But yes, somehow I doubt we could keep a Lok'Sha in here all the way back."
Pyra nodded, and stepped up into the caravan, sitting down in one of the unused chairs, and pulling a smooth, round, almost spherical rock from his pocket, turning it over in his hands, every now and then tossing it up in the air and pushing it one way or another, then snapping his hand out to catch it, cursing quietly whenever he may have dropped it.
Pyra stepped forward and gave a nod to Zay. "I am Ilruvae, and, since the rest of you seem to be talking about magic and whatnot, I specialize in Arcane and, seeing as I'm an Eldi, not likely to specialize in anything else" He says the last part very dryly, due to the impossibility of Eldi having more than one magic type.

"That said, my favorite type of sandwich is ham. Just plain ham." He says with a glance at Zay "I also don't drink alcohol, so I'd like it to not be offered to me, either."
Oh, so that’s the captain. And he’s shirtless. Perfect. ...This was going to be a long caravan, wasn’t it? Pyra sighed, and went over to stand by the man. Whatever, Zay was his superior, and that was that.

“I didn’t see any need to converse yet, not until everyone was here. That said, everyone is here now, if I know my basic counting” He says dryly “Which I believe I do.”
A very obviously and clearly male figure idly stood with one hand folded, and the other flicking in various directions, as a small rock, about ten pounds, was partially encased in a blue glow, and was in midair, flicking in various directions. He sighed, letting the rock down and turning towards the Venbu. Impressive beasts, to be sure. And likely quite interesting magically, although he wasn’t interested in that personally.

He sighed. Unfortunately, the caravan leader, likely that knight over there, knew his name, but maybe he could get away with telling the others his name was Ilruvae. He didn’t like his ‘true’ name. It was... feminine. His parents had wanted a daughter, so of course they named him something female, as if that would change something. To be honest, with how his mother apparently was in her free time, it was a wonder Pyra Nume had gotten through childhood without any... changes. Knowing what he did now, he wouldn’t have put it past her, honestly. But enough reminiscing, there’s a job to be done, and he was here to help do it.

Aelih almost glares at the girl, gaze softening to simply be a sort of blank look, with uncaring eyes. The elf stretched, shifting around to get comfortable against the tree.

"Well I'm hardly about to go exploring an unknown cavern with how I am right now. Besides, the others have it handled, that Orc doesn't seem like he'll go down easy. For that matter, what kind of child insults someone by trying to question my courage? Lack of fear is the mark of a simpleton, or a fool. It takes no courage to not be afraid, it simply takes stupidity or recklessness."

With that said, Aelih's gaze flicks to Lui, then flicks back to Nona, a small grin on the elf's face as Aelih watches Nona's face closely.

"Besides, I'm tired, and not in the mood to dungeon right now."

”Have to explore catacombs in order to learn anything..? Hmm...”

Aelih sighs, and then sits down next to a tree, having not noticed Lui hiding behind until then, spear propping up against it. Too tired for a dungeon crawl, and tired and dungeon crawls rarely mixed well. “Lui, her name is Nona, and I have no clue. Perhaps you should ask her absout it.”

”Damn it I want to nap, but I don’t trust that Nona enough to be alone with me, or Lui. Staying awake it is, but I’m sure as hell not going into those catacombs.”

Aelih frowned at the girl, then looked through the rest of the clearing, noting the forest golems presence ”That again... why is it here? Of course, why are any of us here, for that matter...” Aelih chuckles softly, noting a man in a bush a second before the rude one called him out, and sighed.

“Lui, you can come out of the bush. Next time, don’t bring a giant flaming stick with you into hiding. Also... the Resurgence? Catacombs? Mind saying what’s going on here, Miss Nona? All I know is that a town was attacked by skeletons with damn siege weapons, and a giant boar of some kind. Oddly organized for a group of skeletons, What with the fact they have an entire damn siege weapon for raiding with” Aelih took a breath, eyes closing for the moment.

With that, Aelih glances at a man with stitches on his mouth, and raises an eyebrow as he quickly flashes hand symbols. Aelih remembered something about that being used as a form of communication, and frowned. Shame Aelih didn’t know it.
