GM Tip: "What do I want to encourage my Players to do? What kind of person could influence them that way?" Not every NPC needs to be that influence, and don't hamfist it, but it might help!

GM Tip: Every Scene/Session, give Players choices to: Go Cool Places; Talk to Interesting NPCs; Learn New Info; Fight something; and/or Get a Reward. All choices should achieve Plot Progress somehow!

GM Tip: Don't try to push your players away from edgy cliché backstories. Dead parents under mysterious circumstance? Hometown razed? They've done half the work of coming up with villains FOR you!

GM Tip: Have an Open World Sandbox but no direction? Need smaller arcs, or something off-genre b/t Plot Points? Refluff ALL the One Shots. Any TTRPG. Tie NPCs or PC backstory into it. You're welcome!

I check out a lot of isekai-themed games to see how other people do theirs, since my own has a very similar theme. I've seen the first season of the anime and heard a lot about it but I don't really think I'm familiar enough with the various skills, classes, lore, etc. Wish you luck tho!

No, I've never seen that anime myself. Gorou's face-claim is just fan art of some guy from RWBY (which I've also never watched). Do you mean the character himself is familiar, though, with the reasons for wearing a mask or something?
