"Now that's some very interesting images we're seeing from Shakespeare. Any comments on it?"

Nothing but cold, apathetic stares all around. It was enough to make Annwen forget her job, retire, and live out her lives as a Herbal supplement sale girl. Her students eyes bore into her with the cold detachment of an animal, waiting for her to spoon-feed them what they needed to know to pass their next test, the next step in their 'college careers'. She held out hope, waiting just a little longer, before her shoulders sank. With a resigned sigh, she wrote the quote on the board.

"Lady Macbeth is asking to be 'unsexed' here," she said. "Eliminating any traits considered soft and sweet; removing the matron in her by replacing the milk in her breasts with gall so that the murder of Duncan will go smooth."

"Ew," a girl in the back stuck out her tongue.

"Well, we can't all be super models," Annwn sighed, just as it hit the end mark. "You're dismissed."

She let them all file out, collecting her own gear. She sighed, strapping her bag over her shoulder. This generation is doomed; dead on arrival.

Morgana's class was over, and she was all too glad about it. The lack of interest her students constantly showed her made for boring days. She might have been aged of a few thousands years, but it didn't show at all. In such a modern world, it would be a real shame to look so young eternally and to not use it to it's full potential, so Morgana took a liking to going out and having a good time. She knew her role and what she had to do, but from her point of view what harm was there at living a life on the side of it all?

She walked out of her classroom, leaving most of her stuff back on her desk judging it wasn't all that important anyway, and headed for her friend's classroom. Morgana once had been teaching at another, far better school...from her point of view anyway, but decided it would be boring to work all day far from her companion of eternity. She had gone through all earth's time periods with her friend Annwen, starting from the time of the Old Ways. To Morgana, it was as if a connection had been created between them, a thread of sort. Invisible and strong. If she was too far away for too long, she felt she lost her will to actually do anything at all. Now, Morgana was very theatrical and loved to exaggerate, but the connection was real to her.

When she reached her friend's classroom, she peeked inside only to find a desperate Annwenn.
''Student's don't have any more interests towards Shakespears than they do toward their own history, I presume?'' She said as she walked in.

Annwen nodded. "Good thing the old chap's dead," she said, picking up her suitcase. "I wouldn't have the heart to tell him."

Still, good company with good friends was always enough to bring a smile to her face. She quickly followed her companion out the door, and out of the building. Exiting into the main quad, Annwen began to curse her shoe choice; why didn't she pack a pair of flats?

"How go the history nuts?" she grinned, running a hand through her thick red hair. "Haven't scared them off from a history degree, I hope..."

They passed the main administration building. As they trekked past, chatting like small schoolgirls, they didn't notice the broad-shouldered figure who watched them. His head turned slowly as they went by, slowly pulling up a walkies-talkie.

"I found them," he said. "Contact Lord Cronqist."

To the 'history nuts' comment from her friend, Morgana laughed and answered in a really truthful tone; ''I tried, so hard, but they won't go away. I wish I could teach only those who are truly interested, but they are way too few. Oh well, we are still young. We always have the option to change line of work?'' She said, looking at her friend with her usual mischievous smile. Morgana liked to tease her friend and act younger than she truly was, as it helped her accept the fact she was going to live forever.

''So, what do you want to do now?'' Morgana said as she stepped forward and blocked her friend's path by putting herself in front. ''Come on Annwen, let's go out! It seems like an eternity since we last...did something? Anything, really. I'll let you choose the place to go this time, I swear.'' she said laughing. Places Morgana frequented tended to be uselessly noisy and crowded.

''We could go eat, or dance! Or..we could got to the aquarium, or take a walk through the wooded area not so far form town? It's been a while since I last ran through the forest.'' Morgana, as an immortal Druid, could change shape into specific animals that are, or were, related to her bloodline from long, long ago. It was not something she'd do often, not anymore, but it remained pleasant nonetheless.

''Or we could...go check on that, you know? Make sure everything is fine with it.'' She was referring to the magical well, of sort, that they created some while ago. It was a promise of change and an incredibly powerful source of magic. Morgana was always worried about it, despite her seemingly aloof nature. However, what exactly could go wrong with it, right?

"Be the third time, we did," Annwn said, running a hand through her hair. "We'll see where time drifts us."

On mention of 'that thing', Annwn frowned. "No...let's check that later tonight," she said, leaning close. "I need to do a cleansing ritual anyhow..."

What had been watching them stopped, surrendering control to someone else. The figure took on an imposing position, a simple student reading a book. But his eyes traveled elsewhere on the witches ahead of him.

"I say lunch, than park," she said. "Than I need to get home and prepare."
