Jason Swung his oar over his head and down on the zombies' neck, severing it, he saw the rest of the hoard gaining on him and ran, ran as fast as his legs could carry him. there wasn't much of a choice in direction, the House had only one entrance after he had blocked the other, running up the stairs he saw a way out, it was risky but it could work, seeing the hoard of undead climbing through his doorway, he braced himself, grabbed his mother's necklace for good luck, clenched it in his hand, and Jumped........through the window out into the cold air of the beyond, he landed on top of some SUV, rolled off, and sprinted into the night.

As the darkness overpowered the stars and swallowed the moonbeams Talasyn did her best to sneak through the abandoned neighborhood. She was tired, but couldn't rest, and she had to find somewhere to go - somewhere to regain her strength. She did her best to sneak past the small cluster of zombies mulling around in the middle of the street, probably fixed on a squirrel or something. She presses her back against the dumpster bin for cover and pulled the pipe out of her backpack, just in case she would need it. Just before she was ready to break for the other side of the road, she was startled by a thump a few yards away, like someone banging on sheet metal. Talasyn braced herself and slowly peaked out from behind the dumpster to see a young man sprinting across the street. For a second, she doubted her own eyes, figuring she was hallucinating from a lack of sleep.

Jason had tried to run, tried sprinting into the night, tried to get free, tried to run away from this terrible town and somewhere where the world hadn't gone crazy. But just as he saw his opening, right after recovering from landing on that SUV, he caught something in the corner of his eye, for a second, for one blasted second, he saw her, clearly tired, not very tall, just a small wisp of a thing, about to charge across the street....where right around the corner the horde was waiting, so he brought himself to a halt. He jogged back to the alleyway where he had seen the thing, still not entirely sure he wasn't hallucinating, and got in front of her. "Hi....Jason......don't go......over there......undead.......no bueno" He said, exasperated, to the possible hallucination.

Talasyn's shoulders hugged her neck and her hands pressed against the pipe with an urgency. She was now sure she wasn't seeing things, and it was a person. She shifted her feet, ready to run should this stranger decide to attack. Talasyn pulled the pipe close to her, rearing back her shoulder and preparing to fight. "What do you want...?" Talasyn sputtered, her voice shaking. Her tone was deep, and it was obvious that she was trying to appear unafraid.

"Strength in numbers" Jason said simply as he finally caught his breath. "Besides, I wasn't entirely sure you were real until you spoke just now, so there's that" Jason grinned despite himself, and the situation. "The real question is, what are we going to do about these things trying to eat us" he continued, pacing "and why weren't we affected?" Jason's brain and mouth were moving a mile a minute as he spun his large wooden oar nervously

Taking a step back, Talasyn's eyes followed the oar intensely, her gaze fixed as she spoke. " Where... Where did you come from?" She wiped the sweat from her palms on her jean skirt and quickly grasped the pipe again.

Jason took a break from his pondering and looked at the small girl, he raised an eyebrow before sighing and sliding against a wall "I was holed up in that apartment building over there" He said as he gestured with his head toward the building he had crashed out of, "Whaddabout you?" he asked after a moment

Talasyn eased up a little, feeling her sore muscles in her arms and legs. She still held her pipe but now she rested it on her shoulder. "About three towns over. I've been staying in the forest, there are less of those things there. I came back to look for supplies." Talasyn's eyes scanned the street for any more of the zombies. It was late, so most of them were attracted to the river, where the sound of the running water attracted them.

"Awesome, so there goes the plan to take the boat downstream" Jason said, seeing a lot of zombies heading in the direction of the river. "So what's your plan for tonight? cuz Mine's to make my way to the hospital, you know, see if there's anything that hasn't been totally ruined by whatever this is that's causing this" Jason rambled a little bit, nervous that it was getting dark

Talasyn leaned against the dumpster bin, wiping her hair from her face. "I'm not sure. Probably secure one of the houses here so I can get some res-" before she could finish her sentence Talasyn fainted, her body sliding down the side of the dumpster, her lead pipe clattered against the metal bin before hitting the ground with a thunk. The loud noise echoed through the suburban street, attracting one or two of the zombies that had not been drawn to the river.

Eric was a very outdoors type man. He knew the Forrest like the back of his hand he was in the process of building traps to get some sort of animal to eat. As he walks thru the forrest he comes to the clearing and looks at the town.

As night is starting to fall eric sees a massive horde of zombies going towards the river he wondered why they had such strange behavior.

He come to a street and crept on a zombie and with his hachet took his head clean off aside form taking his whole head off he hit a glass window because he put to much muscle behind that swing. The window breaks and some of the horde turns and then slowly starts to creep this way. He does not look back and runs from build to buiding but same result all of them locked.

Eric doesn't lose his cool he looks up at a fire escape and he quickly jumps up and grabs the ladder and climbs up the roof. As he is on the roof he looks around and examines two people one of them has fainted and there were already two other zombies heading towards them not to mention a little of the horde coming going to the river was surrounding the build not to far from them.

Jason cringed slightly as he heard the banging of Talasyn's head against the dumpster, looking around, hoping to god that it hadn't attracted any zombies. Unfortunately, it had done so. Thinking quickly Jason took Talasyn's pipe and anything he could find in her bag, and stuck them into his backpack, then he slung his backpack over her shoulders. Suddenly having a flashback to old times spent with small family members, he picked up the small, scrappy girl and carried her over his shoulders, feeling the exhaustion begin to affect him, he wiped his sweaty face and......

Swung out at the approaching zombies, knocking the remaining arm off of one, and the other to his butt, then, stabbing with the thin part of the oar he knocked the wind out of the remaining zombie and booked it, as fast as a dead tired man carrying about 150 pounds of weight in human and supplies can book it, down the street, he didn't stop until he saw the sun begin to rise over the small town, and the hospital come into view. He ran into the hospital, sealed the door, and then fell down, exhausted, in the empty hospital's entryway

Eric watched this man carry a girl and said to himself " im not alone?" he jumped roof to roof and climbed down a fire escape and looked to make sure it was clear and then he walked with a cigarette in his mouth till he reached the hospital. as he walks to the door he see the man and woman lying on the floor. He takes out his hatchet and taps on the glass with a puff of smoke waiting for one of them to respond.

He takes out his hatchet and taps on the glass with a puff of smoke waiting for one of them to respond.

Jason awoke, still exhausted, still incredibly drained of energy, but rubbing his eyes he looked around himself to see where the loud tapping noise was coming from, what he saw he almost couldn't comprehend in his state "What the...." he thought to himself as he looked at the large, fairly hairy man tapping on the glass of the door with a hatchet, he raised an eyebrow at the strange looking man before getting up, using the doors he had bolted shut to help himself, and looked this man over once more. He didn't appear to be infected, and that backpack of his probably had some halfway decent stuff in it, so, in Jason's currently half-concious state, he asked the question that seemed to make the most sense, in the way that seemed to make the most sense to him at the time

"Are you a Hallucination or an Undead, because I didn't order a pizza, and chinese express doesn't deliver anymore" Jason wobbled as he held tighter onto the bar to stop himself from doing some more of that in the future. Then he squinted his eyes, raised an eyebrow and waited for the man to respond, feeling proud of himself that he was able to handle such a delicate matter so well in his drunk-like state.

Eric looked and says sarcastically " how about you open and i wont cut your head off? " pulling out another cigarette and lighting it up looking at him. and staring him in the eyes and then looking around but seeing a zombie walk around like this wasn't even happening.

Jason raised an eyebrow, and waited a long second, staring into the stranger's eyes, unintimidated, and unconcerned for his safety, it's also possible that he just didn't realize the kind of danger he was in, considering how exhausted he was, so after a long moment of tense air, Jason opened the door just a little, letting the man inside "fine, but be quick about it, and this'll be reflected in your tip......Oh look a bench" Jason's delirium said as he wobbled his way to the bench and then immediatly fell over, face first, onto it, into a coma

Eric stands there smoking his cigarette and says " well first off who would of thought i would be smoking in the hospital and second i got two passed out people and no idea what to do with them" eric quickly walks down the hall and finds and empty room with bot beds not used so he drags the boy and girl and places them both in a bed. Eric spent time in the hospital when his girlfriend died here it still brings back memories. he sits in a chair and waits to see who will wake up first with his hatchet in hand.
