I mean, um... I am totally interested in this RP based on the best Shonen Jump manga ever.

Also you forgot to mention the naming scheme for Stands. XD

Oh yeah, the naming of the stands depends on the roleplayer and whatever namesake they wish to use, I'm going to scrap the tarot card names and titles; unless a roleplayer want to use that which I'm úber fine about.

Most of them are named after bands, albums and songs, actually. ^^; Always thought that was one of the best parts about them, really. Since it's the only manga I've ever seen where someone can boast about their terrifying power named Metallica or something. XD It's only in Stardust Crusaders where they have tarot-based names.

I have dibs on my stand's name as 'Dark side of the Moon' :D
I'm just finishing part 3, I'm hoping to whizz through everything till part 8 through the summer holidays C:

Even in Stardust Crusaders there's plenty of stands named after egyptian gods instead of tarot cards and two musical references towards the end, then from Part 4 (best part) and on they're all musical references. I'm interested and I'm reserving the stand name Blind Guardian right now.

Alright :) That's a cool name. Right now I'm just trying to figure out the initial story/backstory for the roleplay to be based upon.

Question: is prior watching of JJBA necessary to join? Because if not, I with my unbearably minimal knowledge would love to join :)
Also wondering if antiheroes are out of the question. Since they're more interesting than outright heroes and all...

Well you wouldn't really need to watch or read JJBA to join. I'll also think about having anti-heroes and such :)

Somehow I feel like if I ever tried to do an antihero at the moment I'd just end up with a near-clone of Kamen Rider Baron. XD

Buuut I guess there's a good chance I'll be playing this on the paragon route, but we'll see how that turns out. Also, guess I need to start scouring my music collection for a good Stand name... Unfortunately, since I listen to a lot of power metal I am faced with the conundrum of having too many good potential names. XD Hmmm...

I'm just thinking out loud here, but shouldn't, I dunno, at the very least reading Arc 3 alone be mandatory? I know I'm contradicting the GM and all, again I'm just voicing an opinion here, but isn't this supposed to be a JoJo's Bizarre Adventure roleplay? Shouldn't the players be expected to have at least some basic knowledge of the franchise and its style, themes and elements?

Is this still a thing?

Well, I guess we can talk about character ideas for the time being.

I'm between two character ideas.

A alligator named Pippi with a sludge-based Stand called "Back in Mississippi", provided animal Stand Users are allowed. If not, then I have another idea: a guy by the name of Bernard D. Bizkut with a Stand that's able to split itself into two to double his punching power called "Goof Troop Boop".

I hope it's still a thing. I've been looking for good Jojos-based RP for a while now. ^^;

...Although when it comes to Stand ideas all I have so far is the knowledge that I should never claim to be making Stands named after AC stuff, even in jest. XD

Super duper interested

so the GM for this hasn't posted in like a week, is anyone else interested in running a JJBA roleplay? I don't really have the time to competently run a roleplay myself but I'd definitely participate in a JoJo rp.

I've been forgetting to even check up on RPG, so I'm not GMing. I'd be pleased as punch to join if this became a thing though.

As much as I'd love to, I kind of suck at GMing. ^^;

Would be all for this if someone did try to run it, though.
