Name: Konstantin Aleksandrovich Sobolev
Age: 39
Description: A not-so-gentle giant at 6'3 and with a very wide chest, pronounced forehead, strong jaw and thick brown beard. Keeps his uniform tidy and his boots shiny, but this has proven impossible in Stalingrad.
Bio: Born on January 29th 1903 in Chelyabinsk, he was 17 at the civil war's end when he started working in a textile factory for three years until he enrolled in M.V. Frunze military academy in 1923. After graduation, he steadily rose through the ranks - Fighting as an Infantry Captain against the Japanese at Lake Khasan (Where he looted a hand-crafted Katana set from a Japanese officer) and later was present at the Soviet invasion of Poland. He was on leave at home when the Nazis invaded, when he went back to the front in Ukraine and got beaten back to Stalingrad.
Class: Batallion Commander without a Batallion.
Equipment: Hauling a DP-28 around. Was also issued a Nagant 1895, found another one -including holster- for it, and has a bunch of ammo for it.
Rank: Major.
Reason to fight: Raw Patriotism.

Name: Yuri Spiridonovich Ozerov
Age: 20
Description: Stands at 5'10 and is rather skinny. He's got short brown hair, blue eyes, and is cleanly shaven because his facial hair growth isn't all that impressive. Standardly wears his uniform with the top buttons undone to show his Naval Infantry Telnyashka
Bio: Born in Petrograd on February 16th, 1922. He always wanted to be a sailor like his father, and was on his way of becoming one in 1941, nominally serving on the Marat but it was sunk before he could truly begin. Due to circumstances he was transferred to the 62nd army at Stalingrad where he crossed the Volga in September. He was seperated from his unit in heavy fighting and found Major Ponomaryov's unit.
Class: Submachine gunner.

Reason to fight: Service by requirement.

Name: Dimitri Borisovich Snegiryov
Age: 29
Description: Is 6'1, blonde, blue-eyed, wears spectacles and has a strong, toned body from many years of penal labour.
Bio: Born on January 24th 1913, he grew up in St. Petersburg/Petrograd/Leningrad as a nail who always stood out. He was not susceptible to communist propaganda, practiced Christianity in secret, and was generally a nuisance to the CPSU. But as is common in the USSR, the nail that stands out gets hammered down and Dimitri was in for a show trial sooner rather than later. In 1939, he got sent off to the sunny beaches of Siberia for penal labour. When the war broke out, he volunteered for a penal batallion, electing to die free and honourably.
