"Because I have a terrible sense of direction. I can't read a map." Katherin explained as she tries to memorize the way to class. "Honestly I am just one of those people who shouldnt be left to their own devices."

"Oh, how horrible. Well you may be needing me more then once eh?" Elicia said softly, she squeezed Katherin's arms and her eyes went to the girl's neck.

"Probably." Katherin admitted with a smile. She was grateful that someone had offered to help her. It seemed like she had been wandering the halls forever. "Otherwise I will never get to any of my classes."

Elicia brightened up, she unhooked her arm from Katherin's and slid it across her shoulder. Now her hand was stroking Katherin's cheek. "I'm glad to hear that Katherin."

A dog was racing towards the school and went inside once there. He raced to his room to put his things down except his precious bag of doughnuts. He then raced over the art room and sat down in an empty seat before shifting to his human form. This doughnut-loving dog boy was Ace. He took out a doughnut form his bag and began to loudly munch on the doughnut.

Arin decided to lean back in his seat out of pure boredom. He looked at Luna. "This probably an odd question, but have you seen a lovely neko that goes by the Ayaka around here?" He asked. He was hoping to spend some quality time with his girlfriend if he ever gets a chance to.

Price looked around for someone to talk to, but wasn't sure who to start with. He took out a piece of paper and began drawing on it.

Katherin smiled at Elicia. She figured Elicia was a toucher. Katherin had met a few over the years. It rarely bothered her. When it became an issue Katherin would let Elicia know.

Elicia brightened even more, a girl that liked her advances was unusual! So she kept steadily stroking Katherin's cheeks with a warm smile that would possibly calm Katherin on her face.

Katherin entered the class room and found an empty seat. The teacher would probably frown at them for arriving so late. But Katherin couldn't do much about it. It wasn't like she could help it that she had gotten lost.

"Ah, sorry!" Bowing quickly, Kroma averted her eyes and ran to the art class. She didn't really want to know who she'd crashed into anyway. She knew she'd be in deep trouble if she made any enemies with people who could probably blast her into a pile of soot. Of course, that never stopped her from insulting people. She sighed. "I really need to work on my people skills."

At last, she burst through the door, her hair disheveled and her breathing unsteady. "I'm sorry I'm late, it won't happen again," she said in a rush, lowering her gaze and sliding into the nearest open seat. She noticed that the class had many students. "Fairly popular class," she mumbled under her breath. Gathering up her courage, she lifted her hand and waved, albeit unsurely, to Luna, Arin, and Price.

Though Bariq had only been teaching for a couple of years, he had already learned that the two worst times of the school year were the first day and the last week. So far, the first day was living up to his expectations - He walked into his classroom ten minutes late, followed by his massive pet, who laid down around his desk. "Ah, sorry, sorry, it was a nightmare this morning." He said offhandedly, dropping his bag. He faced the class, "But welcome to science class, you can call me Mr.Nasir! In here, we'll be touching on a little bit of everything, though this period's course is focused on the earth sciences." He walked over to his desk, grabbing a stack of packets and handing them out. "I'm handing out the syllabus, rules, typical first day things. We won't be doing much of anything today, but if you have any questions feel free to ask."

Thomas runs into the science class getting lost of where he was already, he turned to look at the new teacher, believing he was a pupil he started shouting "BOY SIT DOWN! AND MOVE THAT 'THING' OUT THE WAY!!". he turned and faced the board, grabbed some chalk and wrote his name on the board, dictating what he was writing as he said it "Doctor.... Davidson, History". "now where was your last teacher?" while saying this he turned on his heals to face the class, what he saw made him mortified. the class was set up with gas taps and chemicals, students were laughing at his mistake.

Bariq simply stared at the man for a moment, needing to process what was going on. Just who was this guy? By the time the doctor had realized his mistake, Bariq was standing up straighter, a hint of annoyance in his four eyes. "I am the teacher." He said, walking up to his desk and putting extra papers down. "And he is not a thing, thank you very much. Apparently, he has more manners than you do." He rustled his pet's fur, who was staring up at the man with disinterest.

Thomas just stood there awestruck. he made a massive mistake and now was going to proberly pay for this for a while. he tried to gather up some dignity. "um, err. im Doctor Davidson. im new here you see, still trying to learn floor plan, do you know where history is?" he was near to breaking point as all his life he survived on being the most powerful and smartest figar in the room... today, he lost that.

he could feel a tear being created in his eye but he froze that and waited for his response.

"I know. You wrote it on the board, and all." He grinned, "I'm Bariq Nasir. I understand the plight of being new here, and that the school can be confusing, but that is no reason to come into a room and start yelling and being as rude as you just were." While Bariq didn't want to be outright rude himself, he wasn't going to let that go so easily. "There are many history classes here. Where do you belong?" This was going to be a fun school year, with the amount of interaction the two departments they belonged to shared.

"H1 i believe, also the shouting is called control. to shout is to control the youths you have under you. any who, ill devise some sort of way to get there." he was trying to gain composer. "i will see you around, proberly?" he turned around ad whispered "idiot"..

"I understand that, Doctor, but my class was in control. You should not worry about my own when you currently have an unattended class. Administration would love that, wouldn't they?" Normally Bariq was a patient man, but something about this guy made him mad. "Of course. We have all year together, after all." He didn't hear exactly what the doctor said, but knew he was saying something. "I may not be able to afford a PhD but at the very least I can get to my own classroom."

Thomas turns quickly firing a shot of ice at the mans feet. "and i have you know i gained this PhD from work and graft, not r=trying to be popular." he grabs the mans collar v"watch your back son" he pushes him back and walks out the door silentky

Bariq was surprised at the man's actions, but not afraid. He laughed in the man's face, going to the doorway. "Do you think I am afraid? I have dealt with better men than you in the deserts, ones who held honor."

Jon came running to the school at full speed. Once he arrived, he zoomed into the art room and went behind the teacher's desk before stopping. "I apologize for lateness. but hopefully I'm not too late to begin the class." He then looked at all his students. "I would like to get to know my students so how about we introduce ourselves? Let's start with...." He pointed to a white-haired boy(Arin). "You. Just tell me your name, hobbies and goals." He said.

Arin sat up in his desk as he looked at the teacher. "My name is Arin. My hobby is watching the waves at a beach and I am not sure what my goals are yet." He replied.

Jon nodded and then pointed to the vampire guy(Price).

Price had been busy drawing, but looked up to see someone pointing at him. "Oh, sorry. My name is Price. my hobby is playing the guitar, I have one myself. My goal is...was to become a rock star." He said. He was unsure on how he would be able to reach his goal. He was still weary of the fact that any of his soon to be fans might be human.

Jon raised an eyebrow when he changed the word 'is' to 'was', but decided not to question it. He then turned to the one eating another doughnut. "I will let this slide for now since it is the first day, but next time there will be no eating my class." He stared hard at the dog-boy. "You! Introduce yourself now!"

Ace looked up with a piece of doughnut in his mouth when the teacher shouted at him. "Sorey(Sorry)." He swallowed the piece before continuing. "Name's Ace. My hobby is racing and eating doughnuts. My goal is to have a world full of doughnuts." His tail wagged back and forth in excitement.

Jon face-palmed himself in his mind. I'm gonna have to keep a good eye on this one. Seems troublesome. He thought as he pointed to the next student.
