Evie - Wintersmoon.

She barked at her loving mate and growled rolling from beneath him and batting his side playfully with her front paws before smirking and bolting off, the rush of her light brown fur, the wind picking between every hair and bringing an exhilarating feeling to Evies self. She growled and jumped over a tree root and twisted a little to jump of a nearby tree stump. Giggling softly as the females paws landed with a soft patter upon a large mud pile, she looked back to watch her mates reaction. He didnt often see the more agile side of her in play as she and her mate often tumbled and bit at eachother gently, mouthing and pushing one another. This time, she was full of adrenaline from the meeting and decision. The reuniting of her best hunters Sister and him. She was over whelmed with emotions. She stood and watched her mate carefully. The wind rushing through her thick soft pelt, her fur flowing in the wind. She felt pretty good right now. She hoped this lasted.
Snow - Stardust Vale.

Snow slipped off of her brothers back slowly, standing beside him she gave him a playful affectionate headbutt to the chin and neck, she let herself slink around him, taking in her brothers familiar, soothing scent. She knew she was beyond safe now. She was overjoyed. Barking at him as she batted his cheek with a paw. "You Mr...Scared me when the stampede happened..I-I lost you.." Her ears flattened, her tail bolting beneath her rump. Whining lightly at the memories, Snow began to growl lightly before she saw a wolf beginning to come over to them, She retreated back to stand at her brothers Shoulder. Head a little low as she watched the male. He had brought over some meat..As he spoke to her, she slowly yet carefully rose her head, bowing lightly to him. {Ah..A Beta..} She smiled softly and rose to her paws once more. "Hello Shade..Well..You already know my name so guess thats my introduction stolen." She giggled but whinced a little. Snow was back in her element. With Shadow by her side, she would be once more, the overly playful chatty female. She had grown up a fair amount since Shadows disappearance. She smiled to the male and bowed. "Thank-you..It means so much to have found my Brother and my pack to be guaranteed a safe place.." She trailed off a little.. "Oh sorry.." She flushed a little and stepped forward her tail wiggling against the ground as she stood watching the males expressions change. Her brow furrowed slightly as she watched the subtle change. "Shade..I-I hope I havent offended you.." She sighed and turned around, slowly wandering away from the pair, tail set low. Ears pinned to her head. She knew that look..Oh too well..

Pantalaimon - Stardust Vale Pack

The tension that had built in Pan eased out of his joints as sequoia backed up towards him, he wagged the tip of his tail. He turned his head towards her, taking her weight with ease as she leant against him, he nuzzled her neck comfortingly. He was undeniably proud to call her his pack mate, this moment just reminded him why. “Good job...” He murmured, his ears flicking back as he felt her sit down next to him panting lightly. His eyes returned to the alpha’s as they conversed among themselves, he looked over his shoulder at Snow laid behind him briefly before he looked back round. So much talking...

Pan’s ears flickered as he heard a snippet of sound off to his left, his ears pricked towards the source and his head perked up eyes narrowing in on a large black wolf that was thundering towards the alpha’s. His muscles contracted and he braced himself ears pinning back against his skull as he waited for the inevitable attack, he was surprised as the wolf pulled up next to the alpha’s he could make out most of their conversation. He watched Farkas approach them, his eyes focusing on the alpha’s shoulder as he circled to his side, before moving over to Snow. He listened to the Alpha’s words, completely unsure about his closeness to Snow.

Wait Snow had a brother? Pan’s ears pricked towards Shadow as he looked him over, from then on things seem to move fast, Farkas accepted them into his lands. Pan couldn’t believe it...for a moment he was to stunned to process it, hot relief flooded the young wolfs tired body. He glanced at Sequoia catching the look she gave him before she shook her head...Glad she’s as confused as I am He turned sharply as Snow yelped, about to react when a large black wolf beat him to it, scooping Snow onto his back. He flicked his ears back uncertain of this new development, he guessed he’d have to get used to his pack mates being around these other wolves he turned to see Sequoia stretching beside him, catching the wolfish grin he wagged his tail at her, shaking his coat out in attempt to ease some of the tension out of his muscles.

He cast another glance at Farkas before he spun on the spot taking off after Sequoia with a burst of energy he closed the distance between them keeping in step with her as they raced back towards their pack. Hmph, I knew it He thought smugly as they soared past a few of the Wintersmoon pack. He kept up with Sequoia no longer possessing the energy to push himself any further, he had wounds he needed to treat still plus the day had been long and bitter.

Wolf Bane - Stardust Vale pack...Pantalaimon collab

Bane paced in front of his pack, unsettled by the sounds of howls by now he had moved over to Rose in an attempt to calm her ease he had sat beside her resting against her. He was too alert to allow himself to lay down it would not have been right...He whined low in his throat lowering his head and nuzzling her neck affectionately. “Not long now...it’ll be ok” He murmured, though there was a hint of doubt in his words though which he couldn’t mask try as he may. His ears pricked forward as he heard the distinct noise of panting he leapt forward rather suddenly lip raising in a snarl until he caught the scent of his beta’s he relaxed his stance jumping forward to receive them, looking from one to the other expectantly. “Bane” Pan lowered his head respectfully submitting to his alpha, there was no hesitation there. “Sequoia has convinced them to allow us into their territory” He grinned wolfishly at his brother, his tail wagging in his mind that was how it had went he wasn’t sure the family reunion had played much of part except for reinforcing what his fellow beta had already done. “Thank you Sequoia” Bane breathed in relief very briefly nuzzling the beta’s neck before butting his brother’s cheek with his head. “You played no part in this?” Bane chastised him before turning to look over at Dakota nodding his head as if signalling something.

Pan looked a little sheepish as he lowered his head, pinning his ears back. “I did not brother...I was not myself” Pan apologized in a low murmur, looking up as Bane grumbled at him before turning away. “Everyone we’re moving out, our beta’s have been successful!” Bane announced to his weary pack. “Come on, lets see what this pack has to offer us” He decided on saying, turning back to his beta’s his eyes passed over both of them. “Where is Snow?” He asked, thre was a slight danger to his tone he wasn’t overly happy with the hunter for disregarding him and rushing after his beta’s. He was deeply displeased by the fact such an action could have potentially doomed his pack and meant death for his beta’s. Pan looked up at him noting the danger in his voice. “Let it go Bane, she was overly concerned for us and it worked in our favour. Snow’s brother is among the Wintersmoon pack...their reunion fortified Sequoia’s work” Pan assured his brother, he was rather insistent on voicing his views of Sequoia it seemed.

After watching the thoughtful expression cross Bane’s face Pan was content that Snow was safe from his fury. Bane waited long enough to hear Sequoia’s recount of what had happened and any other comment she passed his way. “Would you please lead the way for now” Bane told Sequoia, though he didn’t give her much of a chance to reject his order neither to respond to it before he turned away making his way to the back of the pack as they set off towards Wintersmoon territory.

By now Dakota had moved over to Tarkutt and had gripped one of the vines he had attached to the bark firmly within his teeth, his eyes watched his mate guide her pups towards the alpha, he looked grateful as Pantalaimon trotted over to him taking the other vine in his teeth between the pair of them they were able to drag the bark. “Keep an eye on her Tarkutt, we’ll get her there in one piece” Pan told the healer as they tugged Artemis down the slope.

Bane padded over to Rose who was buried in the snow he butted his head against her side. “Come on love, it’s time to go” He murmured, if she didn’t stand up he pushed an obtrusive nose underneath her just behind her arm pit and lifted her up forcing her to her feet. “I’m sorry about earlier...I let my temper get the best of me” He apologized his ears drooping as he looked at her, before casting a gaze at his pack as they moved towards uncharted territory. “I’ll make it up to you somehow...but for now I really need you to help us, I need to speak with this alpha and I think Tarkutt could really use your help” Bane spoke softly to her nudging her in an attempt to make her move forward. “I know you can do it” He offered her a wolfish grin, an expression he didn’t offer to many people. “I’ve got to catch up to Sequoia come on” He encouraged further, trotting after his pack hopefully with her by his side.

It only took a few moments for the packs to meet, Bane had taken the lead way before they crossed the territory line his alpha scent would have warned them of his presence way before he was seen. Of course once he reached the place Pan, Sequoia and Snow had stood before he allowed his presence to be known, standing tall with his tail lifted and head high was enough to demonstrate Wolf Bane was not a force to be trifled with though nothing about him was threatening.

“Farkas alpha of the Wintersmoon pack and Evie Luna of the Wintersmoon pack, I am Wolf Bane alpha of the Stardust Vale pack. I offer my deepest gratitude to the hospitality you have shown my pack and wish extend my greeting...though I will speak with you further I ask my pack be shown to a safe place, we have injured wolves that require immediate attention and tired pups that are in need of a safe place to sleep” Bane spoke confidently, though his woods seemed to be his own despite the name he had taken Pan’s advice on a diplomatic entry.

Farkas - wintersmoon
As Farkas had played with his mate, he had begun to cast his mind back. He was starting to doubt what he had said..but he knew he couldn't take back the offer. He was a Wolf of Honor. Out of nowhere there came a paw that belong to his mate that lightly hit him on his Muzzle Growling playfully he started to "run away" from here egging her on to chase him. They weaved in and out of the tree's letting the cold wind rush through their pelts. However stressed or upbeat he was moments like this he loved. Be it with his mate Or the pack's pups in training them how to fight and be the best they could be.

As the pair ran back to the clearing that they stood in earlier Farkas saw a migration of wolves heading his way. He recognised Pan and Sequoia amidst the crowd, And a large white wolf in the center. He could tell this was the Alpha WolfBane for his aggressive instincts kicked in, but he did not act on them. Not after offering them sanctuary,
thats when the Alpha spoke.

"Farkas alpha of the Wintersmoon pack and Evie Luna of the Wintersmoon pack, I am Wolf Bane alpha of the Stardust Vale pack. I offer my deepest gratitude to the hospitality you have shown my pack and wish extend my greeting...though I will speak with you further I ask my pack be shown to a safe place, we have injured wolves that require immediate attention and tired pups that are in need of a safe place to sleep”

Farkas studied the on coming alpha and his pack. He could smell the blood and flesh that was so potent. He knew now that they wasn't lying.
"WolfBane, Though i admit i am not the happiest of Wolves for this, I Do bid you welcome the my parkland's, If you follow Flora our scout she will take you to the healers. We will tend to the worse wondered and i'll get our caretakers to tend the pups get them fed and rested. But note Any harm befalls my pack, We shall be having a little chat.

Stardust Vale- Tarkutt

Tarkutt jumped out of his skin seeing Bane return. Hurriedly, he snatched his herbs from the ground, shook the snow off of them, and trotted after them. He walked alongside Artemis' makeshift stretcher, bending his neck down to sniff at her wounds and stitches. So far they seemed to be holding up alright, so he gave a nervous nod, mostly to reassure himself. His gait was stiff-legged, his hackles straight in the air like he'd been struck by lightning and his tail stuck straight out behind him. Quickly he realized this and lowered his tail, trying to lower the fur on his back.
When he saw the Alpha of the other pack, he instinctively lowered his ears and averted his gaze. Although the sight of Farkas sent a tiny shiver of fear and distrust through Tarkutt, he gave a small, respectful bow. "You are incredibly kind and I thank you," he said, almost too quietly to be heard, his voice shaking only slightly. He seemed to be on a social roll today.

Winter's Moon- Yehki

Yehki shrank back at the sight of the Stardust Vale pack, but she couldn't help feeling pity for them, upon seeing their wounds-- especially the wolf who appeared to be unconscious and had been dragged here on a slab of tree bark. Now she felt a little scared, but no, she wouldn't show it. She flicked her ears to catch every sound the other pack uttered.

Shade - Wintersmoon Pack - Beta

The frail white wolf before mistook his change in expression, though it would have been impossible for her to know what set of the darker memories in his mind. The best thing he could do was get out of there and clear his head lest any upsets befall the newcomer or her brother on his behalf. "No, lady of winter, it is I who should be apologizing, you've done nothing to offend me. I simply have... much on my mind. I would take my leave now, I have duties to attend to. Shadow will see to it that you're well taken care of."

He looked then at the wolf he had known for so long, another with the hide of the night. He met the brother's gaze, nodding as they silently understood each other. "Shadow, if you need any supplies or assistance with caring for Snow or any of the others, do not bother the Alpha or Luna with it, they have enough to deal with already. Come seek out either myself of Tyra. We will see to it that your needs are met and your requirements supplied. Pass this message along to the healers and caretakers if you would."[/b]

With another brisk nod at the two, he took his leave, eyes focusing on whatever was in front of him as he walked, pushing his dark past back into the depths of his mind where it belonged. For a moment though, before he moved on, he allowed himself to remember the soft, loving eyes of his mother and the warmth of the love shared only between blood relatives. He stopped in his tracks, looking up the the midday sky and sighed. Shaking his head lightly from side to side, he set off in search of his fellow beta, Tyra. They had much work to do.

As he went about his search, he let out low toned, short howls of summoning, specific to a wolf of beta standing, completely forgetting that the Stardust betas would also heard this beckon.
Sequoia - Stardust Vale Pack - Beta

Everything that happened was fluid, almost translucent in his mind as the events shifted, occurred, passed by, and presented themselves. The journey back to the Wintersmoon Packlands was lucid, like a strange dream. She knew the way, having travelled it twice before, and she led the pack without hesitation, doing the alpha's bidding with ease and expertise. But her mind was so consumed with where it had landed. It would have been easy to assume that only a few moments ago the enemy wolves were attacking her pack, and that seconds ago, she had entered, unwelcome, into the territory of another pack. But to assume such a thing would be wrong, despite how ludicrous the last 48 hours seemed to have been.

It was now midday, and she, along with the rest of the Stardust Vale pack, made their way to meet once again with the Alpha and Luna Wintersmoon together as a whole, as a flock of refugees. It was hard to comprehend that they had gone from facing death, to begging for life, to standing on sanctuary within a half a day. Yet here they were. She looked around at the members of her beloved pack; her alpha, proud and strong despite all the hardship he shouldered; her fellow beta, as brave and loyal as any a male could be; the healers, the pups, the caretakers, the hunters, each and every member of the pack that had made her into who she was. She felt an overwhelming sense of protectiveness rush over her that she had never felt before. She felt an urge to defend and lead with a passion she had never before known.

Surprised at the primitive emotions that had swept over her, she blinked a few times, pushing the strange feeling from within her. Those were not the feelings of a packmate to another, nor were they the feelings of a beta. Those feelings bore the signs of an alpha, and that bothered her. Setting her mind running, she tried to make sense of it, settling on the justification that the trauma she had endured with her pack and the intense efforts she had put into securing refuge, effectively saving her pack, had triggered a powerful connection to form between her instincts and her heart, summoning a part of her that existed on a primitive level. Yes, that was it. Those weren't true alpha urges, they were a result of post-traumatic stress and an overdose of adrenaline from the events of the day.

She kneaded at the ground for a moment, wanting to escape that place in her mind. Then, as if by will of the wolves of creation, she heard a low call from somewhere in the woods, calling to her, to her rank. It was the tone of a beta, summoning the others to his side for counsel. Part of her, the beta in her, felt the urge to go seek meeting with the caller, but her civilized part told her that it was clearly the beta of this pack, calling out to it's second at rank.

Everything was difficult to take in. Everything was different, the sights, the smells, the emotions, the urges, the wolves. Everything. The unfamiliarity was nothing she could claim to be fond of, and so, in an attempt to reclaim familiarity, she sought out Pan, who was sitting at the flank of Wolf Bane as he conversed with the Alpha and Luna Wintersmoon. Making her way over to him, head kept low to ensure submission to the three elite ranked wolves around her, she took a place at his side.

"We should go find the other betas, see if there's anything we can do to ease the transition. The alpha's are speaking and we have no place to stand idly when there is so much that needs tending to."

Rose ~Stardust Vale Pack~

Rose was surprised when they were all told by Sequoia and Pan that everything was alright and that they had acquired sanctuary with the wolves of the Wintermoon Pack. When bane came over to Rose, Rose looked at Bane with those gentle eyes of hers that seemed so scared, but they softened at his apology. "Its alright Bane........ It is my fault after all that you yelled....... I should've been helping with the group....... Instead I was being stupid........ I'm the one who should be sorry sweetheart....... So I'm sorry." She said, slowly standing up and shaking the snow off of her bright blood red fur, nuzzling his neck affectionately and licking his muzzle gently as she offered a wolffish smile back to him. But she heard him say that he would make it up to her but that he needed her help first, wondering if her wish was a bit selfish at the moment.

She quickly caught up to him, staying a couple paces behind him as she thought about things. "I don't think you could fulfill the thing I truly want the most Bane....... At least right now anyways....... For now my wish shall go unnoticed till you figure it out for yourself........ And when you are ready....... I'll be waiting." Rose said, quickly placing her right front paw on his back before she went behind him, wondering if he realized what she meant just by that one quick gesture. Once they met with the other pack, Rose slinked forward to be beside Bane as he spoke to the alpha's of the Wintermoon Pack, laying beside him to show her submission to the other pack.

Once everything was sorted out she walked up to Blynn wondering if he was like her, a Shaman of his own pack. "Ah hello there," she said and bowed her head to him, "My name is Rose, mate of the alpha Wolf Bane. I happen to be one of the healers, with Tarkutt as the other. I'd like to help my pack, butI don't have the proper medicine to do that. Could you possibly show me and Tarkutt where we could find some? Our pack mate Artemis needs a lot of help, and it's my obligation to do everything in my power to help her! So...... Will you help me help my pack mates?" Rose asked, keeping her head bowed as she didn't want to offend Blynn at all.

blynn
Blynn had already seen the pups and some of the other wolves that had passed through this way. His muzzle and paws were soaked in blood and dirt, His snow white pelt had splashes of crimson blood all over. But for the most part everyone was going to be okay that he could tell.
Thats when it hit him there was a strong smell of flesh and blood and very low breathing could be heard as two wolves came upto him and Nakia dragging a makeshift stretcher, which had a very weak and wounded wolf female on.
the young female by the name of rose spoke asking for their help and if there was anything her and the male Tarkutt could do. Judging by the shape of the this female who was unconscious Blynn asked "Tarkutt, if you could stay with me and we can work on your pack mate, Rose if you could go with Nakia she will show you the where to get the herbs and everything we use"
With that both the two male shamans started to clean the wounds and assess the damage.

Artemis
She could feel the sledge getting dragged along but she couldn't open her eyes for she did not have the strength she blacked out once more and didn't wake until she was being tended too by Tarkutt and a unknown male wolf with big crystal blue eyes, she whimpered and cried at the pain she could feel, and she knew that it was going tto get worse before it would get better
"T..T-Tarkutt" she whimpered "d-don't leave me here with this stranger.."
Blynn Didn't respond to the comment for he knew she was in unknown territory and probably scared whitless

Pantalaimon - Stardust Vale Pack

Pan had helped Dakota drag Artemis to this clearing he looked over watching as one of the Wintersmoon pack stepped forward to help Dakota move Artemis wherever she needed to go to be seen to. He hated this...he had dragged a wounded pack mate to this clearing whilst passing many more that were injured and broken, trailing along with little hope left. They had lost their home and their livelihood! It tormented him how this had been allowed to happen, why hadn’t his father been more alert to this! Then again...Pan lowered his head. Why hadn’t he been there? He had been away from the pack, sating his wanderlust when the attack happened. He didn’t reach them in time, they had scattered by the time he had arrived...

His eyes drifted back to the alpha’s he kept his head lower than all of them though a part of him didn’t want to, he was beyond exhausted and was finding it increasingly difficult to suppress his instincts. His ears pricked suddenly at the howl that echoed around the clearing, it had sounded like a beta call...but from the Wintersmoon pack. The beta in him wanted to back away from here and investigate the source of the howl right away, he felt a presence next to him a moment later a familiar voice murmured to him. He somewhat begrudgingly got to his feet bowing his head to the alpha’s as he backed away hoping Sequoia would follow him.

Yes, but you don’t know Bane... He pushed the thought aside. “No you’re right, I’m sorry Bane asked for my council” He murmured to her, taking a deep breath before summoning what was left of his energy reserves and trotting quickly towards the other beta, his nose wrinkling at the scent of the unknown male. All of these new scents were feeding his agitation, he was drawn to thin to truly enjoy the adventure of new places and new smells. He lifted his head as hopefully they approached the black pelted beta, Pan felt his head lift higher as he took in the prime physique of the male wolf in front of him, nothing how this male was slightly larger than he was he felt at a disadvantage with his wounded muzzle and leg but he daren’t allow the other male to know this, he stood tail and settled his gaze on the beta. “Yes, you called?” He asked the beta expectantly, he hadn’t meant to so curt with him but he wasn’t in the mood to dilly dally.

Stardust Vale Pack- Tarkutt

Tarkutt was startled when Rose had spoken to the other pack's shaman; he lowered his head in slight wariness and shyness. However, he nodded in agreement with Rose; he still feared that Artemis' condition was severe. Through the whole introduction, he didn't step very far from the bark stretcher, and he gave a short nod at the order to assist in caring for his injured packmate. He spread his remaining herbs across the snow and started cleaning her wounds more thoroughly than last time, as well as checking to see whether her stitches were holding. "Hmm," he grumbled thoughtfully.
He heard the injured hunter whimper his name, telling him not to leave her alone. He could certainly sympathize; he wasn't entirely comfortable around any of the Winter's Moon Pack and if Artemis wasn't at risk of dying he'd be scared of her too (he always had been before the forced eviction). He paused to give her a comforting lick on the ear, then spoke as he worked on her wounds. "No one here is going to hurt you. You're safe now, and here you can rest and eat until you're well again. I promise." He offered a reassuring smile, which was something of a rare sight to see from him.

Shade - Wintersmoon Pack - Beta

Needless to say, Shade wasn't surprised by the arrival of the foreign betas. After all, he had called for the betas, only he was used to there being only one other beta within earshot of his calls. When the dark-coated male spoke, it took Shade a moment to decide on an answer to his question. While he had summoned them by accident, he did not want to waste an opportunity to get to know the betas of the foreign pack. He looked the male over a time or two, noticing his build was slightly smaller than his own, though an expression in the black wolf's piercing blue eyes told him he made up for in spirit what he lacked in size. Shade had no reason to concern himself over the wolf's size or spirit as it sat, after all, they were refugees. Any attack on the home pack would warrant the slaughter of all the wolves, a war would rise up and there was no way an injured, broken pack stood a chance against the powerful jaws of the Wintersmoon wolves.

He winced slightly, the image of death upon his mind's eye once again in such a short period of time. Shade was not fond of violence or death. This was not to say he would not inflict it for the safety of his pack or protection of his alpha, but he was not fond of it nevertheless. As he shifted his gaze to the tawny female at his side, almost certainly the other beta. She looked to be in good health for what they had just gone through and furthermore, she smelled of an oncoming oestrus. His dominant instincts flickered, taking note of the appealing genes that decorated the she-wolf. A muscular build, sleek, and tall. Her coat was a calming tone and shone with health and prosperity. She would make a fine mate for any wolf. Realizing he had yet to answer the other beta, he cleared his throat, lifting his head as he summoned his standing as he spoke.

"My apologies for brining you here. I must admit it was not intentional, I've yet to get used to the fact that betas apart from Tyra will hear my calls. But your arrival is not wasted, it was only a matter of time before we'd need to meet and frankly I feel there's much work that needs to be done during this... merging of our packs." Nodding his head in a respectful manner, he cast his gaze from dark to pale wolf. "I am Shade Starscream, beta of this pack, and I welcome you to our lands. I will find you lodgings to suit your rank and supply you with extra rations if the alpha sees fit. Are you needing two dens or one? We do not use the gathering dens as a place of rest. The lands we own are riddled with wealth in many ways. The rock formation that bears our packden is a unique one with many other small dens jutting out into the proximity. We each have a place of rest for each family. Are you you mates?"

Looking at the female again, he certainly hoped not.
Sequoia - Stardust Vale Pack - Beta

The black wolf that called them was a sight to behold. Truly in his prime the male was thick, tall, and muscular. Her mind was strange and instead of relating this to characteristics of a potential mate, like most females would, she felt her respect for the alpha Farkas grow as she appreciated his choice in his betas. She had no doubt that the female was just as impressive- that thought certainly triggered an instinctual response. She felt an aggression within her that snarled at the thought of a strong, healthy female of equal rank. Surely she was the better beta, she was intelligent, fit, and healthy. Size was not everything, no, Sequoia had the mind win.

"What is wrong with me today?" she cut her thoughts off, bothered by her rash snideness towards a female she had never even met, let alone had an opinion on.

As the wolf named Shade spoke, she listened with intent, agreeing wholly on his words that the betas of the two packs would have to have met eventually in order to collaborate their efforts and duties to the fused pack. But when the black wolf began to speak of dens and eventually asked if they'd need one or two in accordance with their being mates or not, she felt her face flush warm as emotion and embarrassment pooled. She had never thought of Pan in that light. Nobody had ever assumed they were mates as everyone that surrounded them knew them well enough to know they were not. Her tail swished back and forth in slight anxiety and slight embarrassment.

Then, her brain got to thinking. "These lands may be rich and full of shelters, but there are alot more wolves here now." Looking around she noted the average consistency of dens cutting into the earth and took into account the probably size of the home pack, realizing quite quickly that with the addition of her own pack, there would not likely be enough spare dens for each of the wolves to get their own. As beta, it was her responsibility to work to ensure the happiness, comfort, and wellbeing of the pack, especially the alpha. The last thing she wanted was for Artemis to be crammed in with one of the hunters while she was trying to heal, or for the pups to keep another wolf awake. No, she would share a den with Pan. She knew his well enough and wasn't specifically uncomfortable with him. Then again, she would be in much closer quarters with the male than she was used to... but nevertheless, they would all have to make sacrifices, and one this trivial was hardly something to concern herself over.

"W-we're not mates, no. But my guess is that you won't have enough dens for all of us. Some will have to pair up, and there are wolves in our pack that require more privacy than we do. We'll share a den, if you have one large enough for two to have their own space we'd greatly appreciate it."

Mia, Kia, and Cypress - Wintersmoon Pack - Pups
Keanna - Wintersmoon Pack - Caretaker
Koa - Wintersmoon Pack - Sentinel

The newcomers were quite possibly the most exciting thing Cypress had ever seen in his entire life. And by seen, he meant heard of. Up until now, his mother had kept him and his twin sisters cooped up in the darkness of their den, waiting for word from their father that all was well. Mia had been horrified at the entire concept of having foreign wolves invading their home, Kia had taken the opportunity to conjure up the wildest stories about the outsiders taking over their packlands and sending them out into the unknown wild to fend for themselves, scaring her sister farther. Meanwhile, Cypress stared out of the low den at the horizon, waiting for the familiar brown ears of his father to peak up over and signal his approach. He wasn't scared of the outsiders like Mia, and he didn't care to indulge in the fantastic imaginations that Kia did. No, Cypress was a level headed explorer. He was filled within inquiring thoughts and constantly watched his father go about his days, taking in every detail of how the sentinel functioned. He had such a high level of intuition and a sharp eye for details. Not a living soul could slip past his father without being detected. Cypress thought it was amazing and often day dreamed of becoming a sentinel himself, but then again, part of him wanted to be a hunter, or a shaman, or even an alpha!

"I bet they got dad..." came Mia's shaky voice.

"If they got dad they got the whole pack, it's only a matter of time before they come for us." Said Kia, eyes wide and voice low as she scared her sister into a shaking ball of fur.

"Kia! Darling if you don't stop scaring your sister I'm going to go dig up that antler you buried yesterday and I'm going to give it to one of the betas."

"Momma no! Mom. Please, I won't scare her anymore. I'm not even trying to scare her. I'm just being realistic. Daddy is strong, if they got-" a stern look from her mother quieted the pup. "Please don't give them my antler... it took me nearly 3 hours to find it.." Keanna chuckled quietly at the sudden sincerity of her daughter, her innocence so apparent. Then, from outside the den, she heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Moments later Cypress shot out of the den, before she could get in a word of protest, and went barrelling out across the gathering grounds to meet his father. She couldn't help but smile at the sight, despite her lack of approval of the young wolf's rash behavior.

"You see Mia, my sweet, your father is fine and him returning to our den means all is well with the outsiders. Kia, apologize to your sister for filling her head with all those awful thoughts and then go greet your father."

"Yes mama. Sorry Mia!" her words still hung in the air as she shot across the clearing. Licking her daughter's cheeks and ears fondly, she nudged little Mia to get up and see her father as she followed, relieved that all had gone well. When she reached her mate, they exchanged a loving nuzzle and covered each other in affection, licking noses about impatient pups.

"Dad. Please tell me there are other pups in the new pack." Cypress held the most serious, unwavering tone as he spoke. "And I have to know, was the alpha bigger than Farkas? Was he bigger than you?"

Koa chuckled, lifting his paw and gently nudging his son's shoulder. "The alpha hadn't arrived yet son, it was the betas of their pack. They've only just left to tell their alpha and the rest of their pack that Farkas and Evie agreed to offer them refuge. And you know, I'm not sure if there are pups or not. I'm sure there are, and I'm sure you'll all make new friends." The little black wolf furrowed his brown, his expression bearing a dire reverence.

"Okay, yeah, that's alright then. Okay." Keanna laughed, shaking her head. Cypress was an unusual little wolf, that was for sure. So much maturity packed into the mind of a curious child.

The family lingered in the gathering clearing for the rest of the evening, lounging about, enjoying each other's company, playing, and savouring what time together they could. When the new pack entered these lands, Keanna would be wary of who her pups were near, and Koa would no doubt be on duty almost constantly. It would be a trying time, but she felt like this would be a growing experience for the entire pack. She felt like this was a change for the better.

Wolf Bane – Stardust Vale pack

Bane’s ears pricked forward at Rose’s words, he was quite surprised how quickly she had forgiven him for losing his temper, yet it was a common occurrence when it came to the young alpha. He grumbled affectionately at her as she licked his muzzle before he hastily made his way to the front of the pack. He flicked an ear back as he heard her fall into step behind him; he turned his head sideways as she spoke so he could get a better view of her, he looked puzzled at what she was saying. She wants something, yet she isn’t telling me what it is? I’m supposed to guess... Bane allowed his thoughts to rest on her words for a moment, though he knew he should be focusing solely on what he was going to say to The Wintersmoon alpha...his ears flicked back as Rose laid a paw on his back, his tail swished behind him questioningly.

He turned forward as she slid out of his sight, leaving the alpha with a lot to think about once he was through this meeting. Bane felt more comfortable with Rose beside him but at the same time more defensive about where they were. Bane bowed his head at Farkas just low enough to be respectful; he looked over at Pan as he left his side. “Thank you, do not worry no harm shall befall your pack. I promise you on my honour as an alpha, you have my word” Bane murmured. “If you please, shall we three retire to an area better suited to discuss matters further?” Bane asked after a moment relaxing his stance.

Pantalaimon – Stardust Vale Pack

It took everything the beta had left to remain calm at this moment, especially as he watched the black wolf’s eyes drift to rest on Sequoia his tail flicked behind him in agitation before he could stop it, his ear tips twitching with the effort to remain forward and relaxed. He had been painfully aware of the change in Sequoia’s scent recently, what had been even more alarming was his sudden attraction to her.

The young wolf had practically grown beside her, yet it had taken him up until recently to see the true beauty behind the she-wolf to view her as a potential mate instead of a close pack-mate. There was something else about her hidden under the surface, that appealed to his instincts...still the beta had been dragging his feet and hadn’t done anything about it...and now? Now they were among a pack of new wolves most of which looked in their prime, he was glad Farkas already had a mate he had hoped the Beta’s would have been settled as well...but he wasn’t sure now, Shade was causing those instincts to raise within him again.

Ignoring the flare of dominance that rose in his chest, Pan lifted his head as the male cleared his throat and finally spoke; he kept his head high as he listened carefully to what Shade had to say. “It is no bother, as you said we’d have needed to meet soon anyway. I am Pantalaimon Bane and this is Sequoia both beta’s of the Stardust Vale Pack, we appreciate your welcome” Pan introduced them both, taking the initiative this time around he was unsure whether the black wolf already knew them by name or not. He felt himself glance around at the mention of the other female beta, he wondered what else he would be faced with, if she was anything like Shade he would very much like to meet her now instead of being surprised at a later date. “I agree there is much work to do be done, we shall offer our assistance wherever it is needed, though you will understand if I first think of my pack before dedicating myself to any other tasks you require of me” Pan answered Shade dipping his muzzle in respective acknowledgment, his words were perfectly civil and he delivered them in a calm and level headed manner. Yet he’d sounded a little possessive in his wording regarding the pack,

Pan himself was too tired to pick over everything he was saying, blood loss and exhaustion had made him undoubtedly weak, but he was determined not to show it, this of course was causing him to come off as a little abrupt and possibly more dominant than usual, with this new ‘no nonsense’ attitude. His eyes traveled to inspect the jutting formation of the other packs dens as Shade continued his speech, he could see the wealth of which the black wolf spoke off, despite the harsher climate these wolves had a very good set up, it rivaled their own in fact.

As Shade spoke Pan had already begun to pair off most of the pack though there was no happy medium to be had he had formulated an idea of what he needed to ask of this beta...Dakota and Hush need a den for themselves and their pups, I could probably offer them relief from the pups every so often, then there’s Rose and Bane they’ll share. Artemis needs a den to herself, maybe close by Tarkutt just in case, Lulu needs to go somewhere as well perhaps with Snow? Hmm she wouldn’t share with her brother, would she?. That’s already 5 dens needed, that’s without us included... Pan was pulled from his thoughts as he heard Shade’s last question, his ears flicked back momentarily, as he brought his gaze back to rest on the black wolf.

He hadn’t been embarrassed by the idea...though it was unexpected; he had forgotten these wolves knew next to nothing about them. They had never been viewed in such a way before and despite his feelings this was indeed a very awkward situation. He glanced at Seqouia as she replied first, stating they weren’t mates and putting forward a compromise. He wasn’t sure about this arrangement, it would place them in closer proximity...his ears flickered momentarily before twitching to relax in a forward motion, he scrunched the crisp ground between his pads uncertainly the decision had been made. “I’m glad to hear that, it is all rather impressive and any space you can offer us we will greatly appreciated. We are in need of 5-6 spaces for our pack if you please to begin with, Artemis is heavily injured and I fear she should not share a living space for the moment” Pan answered Shade feeling no need to repeat Sequoia’s answer, maybe he felt better not even thinking about it though he was watching the black wolf’s reaction carefully

Rose ~Stardust Vale Pack~

Rose smiled at Blynn and Nakia, bowing her head respectfully as she went to go get the herbs with Nakia. "So, what is it like here in your pack lands during the summer? I know winter stays long here, but I've heard the summers are beautiful and are full of medicinal herbs like our own! Is that true?" Rose asked Nakia, getting some herbs and almost sprinting over to Artemis. "Hey Artemis, I'm here as well! No one is going to leave you alone, and you have nothing to fear!" Rose said and gave her a wolffish grin, looking at Tarkutt and wondering if he'd be alright here. He seemed very nervous, and even though her shoulder was bothering her greatly, she still worried for her own pack mates sake. "Tarkutt....... Are you alright?" She asked, looking at Bane and wondering if she should go over there with him or not.

"Please, take care of Artemis no matter what. I must go speak to Pan for a second." She said, knowing Bane was too busy for her question right now. She limped over to where Pan and Sequoia along with another wolf, her eyes looking tired as her blood had now reached the white part of her fur and stained it pure crimson. "Pan....... Is there anywhere I can rest for a bit? I'm feeling a bit tired right now......." Rose said, not even having noticed the blood that was slowly invading her fur all over the place. "And don't tell Bane........ He doesn't need to....... Worry......." Rose said slowly before she collapsed in the snow, huffing and whining a bit in pain. "Please....... All I need is a little rest." Rose said, still not noticing what was happening with her deeply injured shoulder.

Stardust Vale- Tarkutt

Tarkutt glanced up tiredly from his work to look at Rose. "Er...yes, yes, I'm alright." He couldn't help but watch his fellow shaman retreat toward the pack's Betas, his eyes flicking to the pale fur now stained with blood. He let out a soft huff of worry; it was certain she needed treatment but could he afford to leave Artemis' side? He furrowed his brow and checked the heavily-injured hunter's heart and breathing, deciding that now would be the time to fully analyze the injuries and draw some conclusions.
There will be scarring, possibly extensive. But there's a chance that her fur will grow back over it. She'll take a while to recover her ability to walk, but that can likely be sped up. The biggest problem is her blood loss; maybe eating something will help her body make more.
"Is there any food stored here?" he asked Blynn nervously. "I want her to eat as much as she can once she's fully awake."

Winter's Moon- Yehki

Yehki couldn't do much but sit and pout; she wasn't one of the more important wolves here. She moodily observed the packs making decisions together, reminded herself that this was for the better, and got up. Maybe she'd just waltz into conversations, maybe she'd show the newcomers to their temporary dens. Her oversized paws made their way uncertainly through the area as she listened in on snippets of talk.

Shade - Wintersmoon Pack - Beta

As the two spoke in response to his inquiry, he tilted his head to the side slightly, intrigued by a just-barely-noticeable shift in their comfort levels. So, they weren't mates. This came as a surprise, but then, not at all. Most often, betas spend most of their waking days together, hunting, leading, scouting, carrying out tasks for the alpha. It can become a cause of stress and tension between two wolves to be put under constant pressure. His surprise came from Sequoia's appearance, not to mention her alluring scent, and the apparent health and age of the both of them. As the male, Pantalaimon, spoke Shade couldn't help but notice he seemed to be growing more and more weary, his eyes asking for rest and food. As an ambassador of the Wintersmoon Pack, Shade would not let their guests be in discomfort, even if said guest was a male of equal rank from an opposing pack.

"Pantalaimon, you look in need of rest and meat. I can accommodate you now, and I recommend you allow me to do so. A wolf is no good without his strength and his wits" Looking Sequoia over again, not missing a chance to appreciate the she-wolf while he did so, he saw that she looked to be free of injury apart from surface wounds and her eyes were filled with enthusiasm. Though, judging by the expression on her face, the glint in her eyes was most likely the result of her oncoming oestrus. His urges as a male send an impulse down his spine, flickering the hair follicles as it progressed. Shade was by no means a wolf of physical desire alone. While it was true that he had primitive urges to mate, his mind was far from that area of thinking. He had always struggled to connect with other wolves. His dedication and trust in his alphas was one thing, but to forge a true relationship with a female, as a potential mate, was difficult for him. And while he longed for, more than anything, pups of his own, he was forced to remember the thing that took his mother's life so long ago. What if his would-be mate suffered the same fate?

He shook his head, half to rid himself of his urges, half to clear his mind from grim thoughts. "You'll have the den just west of my own. It's very close and large enough to accommodate you both with space to spare and offer privacy to a degree. If you'd need anything, you'll be just a short ways from the alphas' den and less a ways from the beta dens. Don't ever hesitate to come to me with requests until you're more settled into these lands more comfortably." When he offered his assistance at any time, he directed his gaze at Sequoia, his piercing eyes insinuating his knowledge of the season. The she wolf blushed and glanced down at the ground, but Shade's instincts degraded any fear to be forward with the female.

Looking back to Pan as he finished speaking, he turned to lead the pair towards where the den was located. He walked at par with Pan, deciding he wanted to get to know this wolf better. A rivalry struggled to surface between the two of them, but Shade was set on getting to know him first. As the two black wolves walked he spoke.

"So, I'd like to do what I can to ease this transition, for everyone. In order to do that, I need to know what immediate needs your pack holds, apart from shelter. When is the last time you fed? Are there any females carrying pups? Were any lost when your pack was scattered?"
Sequoia - Stardust Vale Pack - Beta

When the native beta noted Pan's apparent need for rest and nourishment, Quoia felt a pang of guilt within her gut. How had she not noticed that her packmate was weary? It made sense, he had been injured during the fight with the outsiders and he had not eaten for a few days now, having offered his own stores of meat up to the rest of the pack just days before as the pack's supply ran low before the next hunt was set to commence. She looked over at the blue eyed hound at her side, a maternal look about her face.

"No. Not maternal. Friendly. Caring. Lovi-NO. Not loving. Agh! No maternal or loving emotions! Damn these seasons. This is not the time for my mind to be muddled with hormones!" As she worked to control her mind, she noticed Shade looking her over, as if checking for injury. But as his eyes lingered she felt herself returning this observative gaze. She regarded the piercing black coat of the beta, much like Pan's, but thicker to accommodate for the colder climate no doubt, his eyes shone with a hunger, but not for meat. The wolf spoke again, explaining the situation and offering them a den near his own quarters. As he told them never to hesitate to seek his assistance, no matter what the time, she met his gaze. Suddenly she felt an uncomfortable rush of hormones urging forward her instincts. The dominance of the male was apparent and it took effort to break his gaze. She turned her eyes to the earth below her, reciting a song of the northern lights, taught to her by her mother, which she often used to distract herself. When at last they began to move to where the dens were, she felt her breath returning to her, her heart beat steadying.

But then, when the two males took their place ahead of her, she found herself catching their scent for she was unfortunate enough to be downwind. She could hardly handle it. Never before had she dealt with an oestrus this strong. It had to be connected to the new territory. Every one of her primitive urges were sky-rocketing: her urge to mate, her urge to dominate the other females, her urge to defend and protect, her urge to claim the territory. Sequoia was not a wolf of instinct, she was a wolf of intellect. She would not allow this to control her. So, she decided to be proactive, to remove the problem. Picking up her pace, she made her way to the front of the two males, leaving the position of downwind. She didn't worry about where she was going, she could smell where Shade's den was and could only see one other den nearby. Their destination was apparent.

As she walked, she found herself worrying. She hadn't noticed that Pan was not in good health. She had failed to know that her fellow beta was in need of care. She had failed to notice that her close friend was in need of care. She wouldn't let that happen again.

When Pan had eaten, in fact she could go for a bite herself, they would set out a plan to settle both packs and establish the new norm. Pausing mid-thought, she realised that any meat in the area should go to the ill. She was healthy, she was fine in every sense. She would not take the meat from the mouths of the ill or the young, no. In fact, she wanted more than anything to lead a hunt. To forget all the stresses of what had happened and run with her pack, with Pan, through the woods in chase of prey. To take down their prey and offer life to the pack. But that would have to wait, of course. For now, she needed to get Pan back to health and work with the other betas to get her pack into their dens and find what food she could for them.

Shadow - Wintersmoon Pack

Shadow growled lowly at the fleeting words between his pack mate and his little sister. Heckles rising in a protective manner over all he had left. His sibling. Yes, she was his sibling, but she meant more than anything to him. She had always been his little window into the past happiness with their father and mother. The playfights, the running, training and tumbling with the four close knit family unit. He sighed softly and nodded to Shade before padding after Snow. A soft nudge to her hind quarters to let her know of his presence. Nuzzling her cheek once her became on par by her side he offered a wolfish smile and a playful nudge. He knew what she needed. He began to remember the time before he was apart of Farkas and Evies pack. The times when him and Snow wandered alone together. Fending for themselves. One of his siblings favourite things was swimming of bathing in large pools of water. Of course, with the currently condition this would be hard to achieve, but in due time, he will help her indulge once more. Find the happiness in a wet pelt. The rush of the water around her as she powered through the water.

He smiled softly to himself as he analysed his sisters condition. She needed little healing but still, he wanted her fit and healthy. Nudging her cheek her motioned over to where their Shamins and the new packs Shamins were. He grunted lightly and trotted at a moderate pace towards them. Flickering his tail as he went, head held relatively high but not in a completely domineering manner. He flicked his gaze over his shoulder keeping an eye over his sibling. Though the pair were very much opposing, they were also too much alike. Of course, this was unknown by either packs. He could not wait to have time to speak with her, run with her. Enjoy having her back in his life. He barked softly as a slight encouraging tone washed over his bark. Motioning for her to come quick if possible to where he was headed. He was going to get Snow tended to then set to helping others from their new arriving pack mates. He shook slightly. It was odd thinking he now had more pack mates. A sense of curiosity washed over the male, his bright amber eyes scanning the horizon before him, watching as the wolves passed him.

Would he find a friend in the newly found pack mates? Perhaps someone to speak with, to run with. He sighed softly. He wasnt the luckiest of wolves after all, so he didnt get his hopes up. He simply needed to serve his Alphas and ready things for the packs. "Excuse me.." He cleared his throat a little uneasy at speaking with other wolves. "If possible once you are semi done with tending to the poor injured female here..." His gaze cast over the almost lifeless body of the female barely concious upon the make shift stretcher. "Minor help with my sisters wounds would be appreciated. She is laid not far from here in the snow, a few deep wounds to her side and flanks but she shouldnt, i hope, take up much of your time. If I can do anything to help, please..Tell me.." He bowed his head respectfully to the shamins of both his own and Snows pack. He knew they would have much to do and help would be much needed. "I can help bring in the injured, transport medicines or anything..I just feel a little at a loss right now seeing all the horrific damage done to my sisters pack.." His tone stern yet slightly sympathetic, he did feel for Snows pack mates a great deal.
Snow - Stardust Vale.

The small female grumbled at the contact to her hind leg, not feeling very touchy now after that small moment with the beta of the pack whom offered her own pack refuge in their lands. Watching as her brother took a hastier pace before her she grunted lightly, trying to shift her pace to match but failing due to the injuries. She wasnt as wounded as others in the pack but she did need healing. Her pelt was stained a bright crimson, scarlett drops of blood trickling off her fur ends as once more, the female had reopened a wound across her side. She growled and whinced but none the less, carried on after her brother. Her dainty paws crunching into the snow beneath her, sometimes she really hated her name. It was such a odd name, yet it was a word every wolf would know given the climate here. She sighed and slowed a little, keeping her pace moderate to not further hurt herself. Preventing the pursuit of her brother more so.

Finally slipping to her brothers side she fell to the floor with a small yelp. Shadow looked down upon her immediately before brushing her ear with an affectionate nuzzle before heading off to speak to the Shamins.
Evie - Wintersmoon

Watching the males before her speaking, her mate exchanging words with the Alpha of the pack that her own would share their packlands with, she gentle nuzzled her mates ruff, she felt slightly nervous with all the new scents. Though she was the Luna, the scents of other females worried her. She often thought she would be challenged due to her insecurities at times, yet she had been lucky to stay in her position. Though she knew her Farkas wouldnt let harm become of her, she worried like crazy about everyone. Her heart racing at a pace unbelievably fast for even her, she watched the wolves slowly coming in. Pups whom looked worn down and defenatly in need of a good nights rest and a strong supply of food. A small growl emitting from the Lunas throat as she watched in discomfort. She had never liked seeing wolves in pain. Nor had she seen so many. It tugged on her heart strings and made her want to just spring into the role of caring for them. But, she was Luna. Her duty was to serve her mate and lead beside him also. She stood close enough as to let her soft pelt brush up to his, his scent comforting her, the close proximity of her love was soon making the growl a fleeting thing, soon been and gone. She shook her head gently and returned her focus to the problem at hand.

Pantalaimon

Pan felt his hackles puff ever so slightly as Shade set his gaze on him, despite the other males thoughtful offer he only felt his instincts flare in response. Angry with himself that his weakness had been noticed even more so that he was in this state, he watched Shade’s eyes linger on Sequoia longer than he deemed comfortable he felt his claws dig into the ground as his inner wolf demanded he act. Of course he didn’t though, his logical brain knew he was no match for the well rested beta right now...his blue eyes shifted to rest on Seqouia . Pan’s ears flicked back before he could stop them at Shade’s offer he had noted his gaze move to rest on Sequoia again, his ears returned to a more relaxed position as Shade looked back at him, Pan narrowed his eyes at the native beta catching his eye just long enough to portray he was also aware of Sequoia’s condition before he was distracted by another female joining their group.

His ears pricked towards Rose, ignoring the swirl of confusion emitting from the beta’s he took a step towards Rose he caught Dakota’s eye as the sentinel moved towards them, he felt guilty about it but he didn’t have the strength to support Rose at this moment. “Ok...Dakota will take you to the shamans. Tarkutt will be able to help. Just stay with him this time Rose, no more moving about” Pan spoke softly to the young she-wolf but there was an undeniable authority to his voice. “Come on Rose” Dakota murmured, offering a hand to the red coated she-wolf he offered his side to support her so she could hobble back to the healers. Pan cast a gaze at Bane, he would tell him...later.

Pan moved back over to Shade and Sequoia, his eyes set stonily forward what was with him at the moment? He glanced sidelong at Shade as they walked; it was most unlike him to be so stand offish to another wolf...especially one he didn’t even know that well, he was supposed to be the non-judgmental brother, the one that would accept alliances wherever they were offered. Apparently not with Shade, mentally shaking his head Pan listened to Shade’s questions as he walked though he was tired there was no drag in his stride. His other ear flicked behind him focusing on Sequoia whom he looked over his shoulder at on occasion. “Most of us were last fed a few days ago; we were attacked before we were due to start the big game hunt. No, none of the females are carrying pups...we lost a lot of wolves, our pack was decimated I think there’s 14 of us left” Pan answered Shade’s questions as quickly as he could, his voice was strong it seemed to be only his eyes that betrayed his weakness.

He watched Sequoia quickly pass by him, his eyes following her movements as she positioned herself in front of the pair of them now putting them downwind of her alluring scent, his nostrils flared momentarily as her scent invaded his senses he felt his eyes brighten and his head lift, dormant instincts awakening in him crawling beneath his skin making his coat puff out unexpectedly. He was surprised at his own reaction yet again he was sure her scent had grown stronger since they had arrived, he was positive however that Shade’s presence had also caused this change. He dared to glance at the prime male beside him; his inner wolf had labelled Shade a threat the instant her scent had reached him.

“We have two small pups with us, they survived the fight without injury their-“ Pan started to speak though he cut himself off freezing mid step and snapping his head back to look over his shoulder, he lifted his tail looking at it quizzically...he could have sworn something had tugged it.
Whilst Pan had been inspecting his tail a small wolf pup had appeared between his front legs looking up at Shade inquisitively. “Hi” The pup wagged his tail his head drooping a little, Pan spun back round looking down at the pup between his legs. “Cloud! What are you doing? You should be with your mother” Pan grumbled at the pup, batting its little head with a front paw. “But! I heard you telling the story!” Cloud whined, skittering out from under Pan’s paw. “We were cornered see! 3 of them nasty wolves stood between us and the forest, mum was prepared to fight but she wasn’t made for it” Cloud spoke very fast and begun padding around in front of Shade as he spoke though he had the sense not to look the beta in the eye. “Then Bam!” Cloud jumped suddenly, slamming his paws down in the snow. “Pan appears in front of mum, snarling” Cloud pranced about pulling his lip back and pretending to snarl as he acted out what he was saying. Pan looked skywards before lifting his paw over his muzzle, Cloud really had his timing... “Bash, boom, kapow! He chased them nasties away real quick they barely got a scratch on him! I’m going to be like that one day” Cloud grinned having jumped and frolicked around in front of Shade he finally trotted back over to Pan grinning wolfishly at the beta.

“If you’re quite finished you have 3 seconds to return to your mother or I’ll make a meal of you” Pan growled at the pup though there was no aggression in his voice he snapped his jaws and watched Cloud skitter over to Sequoia taking refuge by the females front paws. Pan shook his head and continued moving, shaking his head at Shade as if to say ‘don’t ask’. “Quioa, Pan’s being mean...” Cloud whined, his ears drooping as he pulled his best puppy dog eyes at her falling in step beside her. Cloud was terrible for abandoning his sister and mother to seek out the company of the beta’s despite being sent back countless times he persisted in trying to grab their attention. On occasion Pan would entertain him though he knew now wasn’t the time he hadn’t the energy to keep up with the pup neither the will to act aggressively towards him, he was quite grateful for the pup’s intervention...although now he had to deal with his paternal want as well. He was relieved when they finally arrived at what he could only assume was to be Sequoia’s and his den for now, his lip twitched up at the scent of Shade’s den close by.

Farkas wintermoons

Farkas was bewildered and on edge, with so many knew wolves and an Alpha in His Pack lands his instinct was going crazy. the only comfort he had at the moment was his Evie, but he could sense that she was on edge too, She wasn't very trusting of anyone even those within the wintersmoon pack let alone with any of the stardust vale lot. He had to put all that aside to lead this pack and set out the rules with Bane, They had to have order otherwise this could end badly for both packs.
as his mind was filled with idea's on what to do and how to go about everything he sat next to Evie to be close with her for both their comfort. They both had found a quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the packs, so he could think about the meeting with bane that they will have soon.
he had ordered that all able bodied wolves from his pack to help out in anyway possible and for others to keep guard making sure nothing kicked off.

He had is beta's talking with the other beta's about numbers needs and everything that will help ease their uprooting and help them recover as quickly as possible.
he will get his hunters to speak with theirs about providing food and where to hunt.
get both packs sentinels and scouts to help protect the numbers and keep the peace,
Shamans to help heal all members of packs that need it.

But all this wouldn't matter if Him and Bane couldn't agree on rules and limitations of the packs.
he would wait for now before he spoke to bane. let him get rested and attended to if needed

"Evie.. Do you trust me?" he asked in a low voice, he knew that some choices he would have to make won't be easy and he needed to know if his mate would trust him enough to follow him through whatever is to come.
Blynn
Blynns attention was brought back when he heard the voice of Tarkutt asking if there was any food near by so she could regain strength quickly as possible.

"Yes" he said calmly "i will get someone to bring food once she is awake, i know you don't want to leave her but you should get some rest, I sleep just a bit further in this outcove, you can have my spot to rest..that way you will be close when she wakes
he dragged over an deer pelt and placed it on the young she wolf to keep her warm, as the winter moons pack lands was much colder than that of their guests pack lands,
he was still on edge as he didn't know if she would live through the night but he would stay with her till whatever outcome. though he knew if she were to pass it would look bad on the pack and will probably cause some tension that could spark fights...

everything was uncertain he didn't know what would happen in the weeks to come. however bad it was he knew that it could only get better...right?

Stardust Vale- Tarkutt

Tarkutt nodded warily at Blynn's response before listening to Shadow, nodding again at the wolf's request. He glanced briefly toward Blynn, and, without making eye contact, said, "I'll rest in a few minutes. Thank you for your offer." Then he carefully picked up the small bundle of herbs in his jaws and headed toward Snow, who he had heard yelp earlier and seen with this stranger from the corner of his eye and assumed that she was the sister he was referring to.
As he walked, he addressed Shadow quietly. "I appreciate your offer to help, although for the moment my only suggestion is that you check on your sister often as she heals, so that her wounds don't get infected, and make sure that she gets a lot of rest and food." A flicker of worry passed through Tarkutt; he knew that recovery would be a food-intensive feat. Hopefully, he thought, this integration wouldn't take up too many resources.

Stardust - Novak

Novak exhaled, his breath condensing into a small cloud as it entered into the frozen air. He looks over the same patch of trees again, his eyes darting here and there, working in tandem with his ears. "Still nothing" He thought to himself, his own thoughts sounding bored at the monotony of the watch. The more he looked, the more he found that he was right, there was nothing different. Save for what appeared to be small tracks leading through the trees, the fox-like prints winding their way through the trees, their maker had long since gone, either because it had simply moved on, or it had been forced out by the Stardust. The sheer irony of that thought brought a smile to Novak's otherwise impassive look. Standing he quietly made his way over to them, he had done this for the past few days with no result, but there was still no harm in trying. Reaching them he sniffed them in one last futile effort to find any trace of the creature, but as always he was rewarded with nothing. Shaking his head he turned and began to make his way back.

As he maneuvered through the trees, he saw a familiar blur in his left eye. Stopping for a moment he ran through the list of blurs in his head and came up with one of the only possible answers. His expression shifted into his normal exhausted look as the blur approached. When it was within distance he swiveled his head to look at it with both eyes. "Hello, Fawks" Novak greeted the other sentinel with a slight yawn "So, any luck in your neck of the woods? I still can't seem to find head nor hair of that dang fox."

Fawks shook his head "No, I haven't seen, heard, or smelled anything. Though you do know that we aren't out here for a fox right?"

Novak nodded sleepily "Sure, sure. But think of that as a... hobby of mine, one of these days i'm going to find one, and then.." Novak's voice trailed off with another yawn

"Novak." Fawks grumbled, a disapproving look crossing his face "Did you find anything or not?"

Tilting his head Novak paused for a moment blinking as he watched Fawks "I think we both know the answer to that.”

Fawks sighed, almost disappointedly “Fine, go tell them that we have seen nothing. Again.” He pauses remembering something “And its my turn for first watch, isn’t it.” Novak noded, eliciting a slight groan from the other wolf. “Fine, go. I’ll stay here. Awake.” he said after he finished groaning turning around and sitting down.

Stifling a laugh, the half blind wolf turned quietly and began to make his way back to the dens, thoughts of how to explain to observation of nothing to his superiors and sleep raced through his head as he skulked away.
