I think Skallagrim won't be coming back. Seems like whenever someone takes a hiatus in general it can be anywhere from 3 to 12 months. Of which you usually have time to find another thing to do as a hobby.

Well usually I would agree, but when I found Skallagrim's Roleplaygateway account I kind of figured otherwise. Because I realized just how long he's been roleplaying. So him totally quitting roleplaying is, at least in my opinion, unlikely.

Pfft, I'm likely to become a long time roleplayer too. I don't see any reason to quit, it's a fun and efficient way of improving your writing style.

I mean I started writing when I was 9, and no other kind of writing has ever been as fun as roleplaying. So I mean I really don't think that day will come in the foreseeable future.

All good, man. Sometimes people have a knack for this type of thing. Sometimes, they don't. At any rate, sticking to it will always make you better. Just consider yourself lucky that you are here learning and not somewhere else. When I was first learning textual based combat... everyone where I was, were complete jerks. I had a knack for it, but I also had to bust my butt in getting better. Now, I'm probably one of the most creative Arena fighters on Guild. I won't stretch to say I'm the best fighter... Skalla, and Rilla can probably give me a run for my money if I'm not on my A game, but I am def, without a doubt.. the most creative. XDmatter of fact, I've won battles based on THAT alone. XD
