Everyone, I am pleased to announce that the First Arc, the E3 Arc, is now finished. However, we seem to have shed off a lot of players during its progress, so we're starting a recruitment drive for new ones! And so, here's a summary of The Story So Far:
The Story So Far
Due to Arcana Unlimited's influence, the E3 Convention had been moved to New York, closer to its titular Headquarters at Troy, New York State. At the same time, Akira Kariya, one of four MMO makers in the convention, planned to create and release a game that traps people in the virtual world, killing them should they die in real life. This caused The Agency to send out a team of Agents to strike at the convention, while, at the same time, The Mafia sent out five Assassins, four openly and one secretlyn. When the fighting started, ArcanaUnlimited used a device to stop time, while at the same time releasing a large mechanical spider on the fighters, but their efforts were swiftly silenced.
The fighting continued until the Agents apprehended Akira Kariya, as well as most of the assassins. The secret assassin remained unharmed.
Now, the Agency, the Mafia, and ArcanaUnlimited are in a lull, recruiting new members, recuperating, settling vendettas, and, all the while, preparing for the next conflict to come...
