This is based on a game that has been dead for a while now.

Let's get this out of the way first. It's a "hunger games" style game. If you're not interested in that type of game, I'm letting you know in advance.

*ahem* It's a slightly reworked "hunger games" situation with more isolation and malicious intentions. Basically, (number of players) have been essentially kidnapped and relocated to who knows where. Each of them is given a cell phone, an unmarked credit card (more on that below) and an explosive collar that can be detonated at any time (referencing "Battle Royale" and "Ratchet: Deadlocked") OR has a nano-virus injected into them that can be activated remotely. It doesn't instantly kill a person. It slows their heart until they die. The GM is a sinister overlord who communicates to everyone as a whole, but can also communicate to people individually.

Everyone is sent a text message (PM from the GM) with the name and face of another person (player). They are told that, to be freed, they must kill that person. *insert drama from innocent people not wanting to become killers* What they don't realize, though, is that after that person is dead, the GM will send them another person's face and they will have to kill again until one winner remains. This keeps it fun because you literally do not know who is out to kill you specifically, and it removes the pressure for you to kill every single person until you are the last alive (initially).

The GM posts from time to time to insert backstory. They also might send personal texts to the players with tips and advice, just to "spice things up," and can trigger the nano-virus in small doses to individual players to "encourage" them to take action.

3 Rules:
-Posts should be at least two paragraphs long. Proper spelling and grammar are a given.
-No lewd content or crude language. You won't be "hooking up" with other players, although you can try to form alliances (if you think it's worth the risk).
-No supernatural abilities or elements. You will need food, water and rest. I have a solution for those needs, though.

I'd be interested in something like this but I would need more information on the death mechanic before I became invested.

You have the health and stamina of a human in whatever athletic condition you are in. There are no traps or hazards on the map, so other than starvation or dehydration (which won't kill you if you use the supply stores), the only way to die is to be killed. Or commit suicide, but I'm hoping none of you will do that. The nano virus is lethal but will not be used to kill a player unless that player wants to die.

The method of killing is entirely up to the players. I'm not sure what restrictions will be placed on kills (no silent backstabbings, for example), but the death is final and cannot be taken back. Granted, it'll be a problem for players who get heavily involved, but then again that's how a survival game should work. Players can RP two people if they want to increase their chances, but ultimately should be aware that they may die and be prepared to accept that possibility. Hopefully this will help keep the thread from dying of age, as RPs tend to go until people lose interest, and any player who loses interest (or becomes too busy elsewhere to invest in the RP) can leave it without harming the story.

As for who survives encounters, I encourage players to PM as necessary to decide on death. Remember that each person is after only one other person, so no showdowns will occur until the very end. As the GM, I can choose to warn or restrict players at will, so if I want to get a fight started or drag one out, I can do so through text and threat of death. From example, I could tell Player 1 that they now have to kill their target in one day or they will die, then tell Player 2 that the player "hunting" them is nearby. Standoff between players can and will occur, but I can heavily influence the outcome. I'll PM players who are nearing an encounter to ask who they want to survive and will work from there.
