I admit nat isn't the worst thing to come into spam but he sure as hell isn't the best either. While yes the system you state is half true, it still doesn't completely prevent completely shit members from joining. Not to mention that when we don't get an influx of newbs, when nat does post a shit-ton of threads and floods spam than we get older members bitching about nat and we ALL know that shit is annoying. It's a lose/lose unless the system does work...So yeah... There are a lot more variables than what you're adding for that system K-9... and I only added a select few out of the bunch that may give you a completely different result than what you wanted. Sorry if this shatters your dreams. :(

Honestly, if people weren't so quick to declare any new person the 'New Nat' then perhaps they wouldn't latch on to and embrace that concept. People can be stupid on their own grounds without needing a comparison to Nat.

Drakel said Actually that sum wasn't called to be Nat by spammers, They just came in out of the blue and declared themselves it. This is a result of them looking in spam and seeing nothing but threads made by nat instead of other spammers and in turn that gives them the idea that this community is, in fact a bunch of Nats, only for them to find out later that it is not.

What I'm arguing isn't trying to place blame on either side, but the way I see it is: New person comes in and doesn't know how to behave so does something stupid > Everyone laments there stupidity including a comparison to Nat (that isn't necessarily the new Nat, but might just be something like they're worse than him) > If the person changes their behavior they'd see it as admitting they are wrong, so instead they embrace comparisons to Nat.

I understand more what you mean now, the logical leap that eludes me is them deciding there is something about Nat alone that warrants them declaring they are like him. Randumb people in a vacuum with whatever it is Nat does, I see them as more just acting like him in that scenario than drawing conscious similarities. And we are both talking about how new people come to associate themselves primarily with Nat, I think.I really don't want to argue with you though Drakel, I don't mind about getting the last word in so you can do that if you like, so long as we can agree to disagree on it.

Drakel said I don't completely argue with you, you're right on many levels and as I said it all depends on what type of variables that we are using. So neither of us are right or wrong unless we are looking at specific variables. So in the end it's all good Knight. :)
