Can any of you help me with character creation for DnD?

I need to know what to do for stats and skills and stuff like that.

There are approximately sixty-five trillion guides online, you're better off searching up one of them. When me and my friends play we're pretty lenient with the rules and stuff so I can't help you much.

1) I take 50% offence to the OP...
2) I like to use this for my CS making needs and then just edit how I need to make it better looking.

Also look for the books, Torrent grab them if possible and use them... The books and D&D Wiki are your BEST FRIENDS!!!!
