Just a thought, not a sermon.

(Note: Unbelievably hard to find a shot without some tourbus breaking up the freakin' picture.)

Another thought:

No American soldier has died in a war that posed a true existential threat to America since 1945.

I was leaving it deliberately ambiguous. I'm sure a lot of people have a different take on what that picture represents.

The white stones represent the purity of American ideals.

we mostly die and get maimed so that we can troll Turt on three soldier holidays per year.

I may not respect the wars they served in, but I respect that they gave their lives in the line of duty nonetheless. I have no prayers to offer, but, I can tip my hat as I walk by, and make sure not to take those tomb stones' contents for granted.

I dunno I guess that Monday means more to those who watched good men die.
Regarldess the agenda we all rose our right hand for the same reason.
