add them then I'll pass judgements once we get more completed cs's. So far we only have a few so until we hit 5 I won't be making any hard "you have to edit this" requests (other than the whole matter vs energy thing we already did lol)

Ahh, alright, thank you. I'm also fleshing the CS out, since I'm kinda iffy with him being mute now.

Name: Ryuuko Serana
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Battle Armor:

Personality: Ryuuko is still in a "rebel" phase due to her late teenage years, but she is very aware of herself and what chemicals she carries in her body and armor. Her temper is volatile and explosive, and she can lash out when she feels vulnerable or scared. It doesn't take much to back her into a corner, just having a certain shape of a man can cause her to react in fear and self-defense if he stands over her. She also struggles with misplaced self-loathing and general anger at society as a whole, blaming it and its paranoia for her experiences in Curdon Cay. Ryuuko still struggles to talk to and interact with people, which often leaves her incredibly frustrated. On the whole though, she stands on a very slippery slope: she can either struggle her way through her psychological problems to become a decent member of society, or let her mind become consumed with her anger and hate so she can take revenge on the very society that subjected her to the torture she suffered.

Conduit Powers: Chemical/Carbon Manipulation
What started out as a blanket of manipulation possibilities became very focused as Ryuuko grew older. Where she could once manipulate a plethora of raw elements to a certain degree, the woman can only manipulate Carbon and elements (at the atomic level) that aid including synthesizing and constructing a myriad of explosives. Her battle suit is made from a sophisticated and delicately created arrangement of carbon fibers, reinforced carbon-carbon, and a few other materials to give her added protections as well as impressive heat and static resistance as well as great filtration against heated gases. On her suit, there are a few nodes filled with chemicals she uses most often. Her body then replicates the chemicals and produces them so that certain hand movements creates a small explosive in her hand. This explosive can then be denoted with by her mentally inducing a rapid heat exchange between the chemicals. The resulting explosion is also manipulated by her when she mentally controls the chemicals. (I.e. A gasoline explosion can be manipulated by her spreading the gas molecules much farther than what would occur naturally. This could help deaden the explosion. Or to make it more intense, she can confine the molecules so they slam against each other more often. Since she does not use a fire as a source of ignition, but rather a massive amount of heat via atomic vibration, she can control when and how the explosive...well...explodes.) The gun seen in picture serves a few purposes. She can load an explosive, up to three, in the device as it works like a grenade launcher. If she is using something more stable (like C4) that would give her some trouble to detonate, she can change the gun's mode to detonation. She did not create the gun herself, but a friend did not too long after she was released.

Background: Ryuuko spent most of her life living in a small town in Montana. The girl had been a gifted rider and could often be seen helping around her parents' ranch. Her home life was simple and quiet until she took a job as a junior lifeguard at the local lake.

It was when she entered the water that it'd been found that the water was tainted with harmful chemicals, Ryuuko had absorbed them into her skin only for the chemical to pool in her hands. Needless to say, a fearful and paranoid man thought the "bio-terrorist" tainted the lake and called local authorities. They, in turn, called the DUP. Her parents tried to keep her with them and tried to plead their daughter's case, but in the end, her parents were arrested along with her. While they were sent to the county's jail, Ryuuko was sent to Curdun Cay.

Curdun Cay Experience: Curdun Cay was a very rough time for Ryuuko. To protect the personnel on site from the girl, she spent her first two years in a small box of a cell made of extremely strong glass. She was fed meals consisting of hot rice cereal and water so as to minimize any potential mineral or element "contamination". Scientists began a reward/punishment system to force her to narrow down the elements she could manipulate.

The rewards were hardly rewards to anyone else, but a luxury to her. If she managed to manipulate a carbon sheet, she was given fruit for her next meal. However, if she refused their "games" or tried to manipulate anything else, her punishment ran from shock therapy to the loss of her clothes, to water boarding. Her hair was once black, but shifted to the nee color due to stress and a particularly rough session of bleach-mixed water boarding. As time went by and the girl mentally regressed until she just did as she was told, the personnel began to weaponize her gift by exposing her to explosive compounds. She took to it quickly under the ever watchful eye of scientists. At thus point, reward consisted of new clothes, furniture, and foods while punishments became more severe. If she failed an objective, she would lose everything she earned and left in a darkened cell with a minimal amount of food and water. Her submission began to give way to teenage rebellion around her 16th birthday, and she was scheduled for execution following the death of her chief "punisher" by her hands. She was let go once the other Conduits were set free though, a quick committee judged that she was acting in self-defense and was afraid for her life. Now in New York, the young woman would like to get her GED and go to college...just try to live a normal life.

I have to say...I've been following this for a little bit and loved the games and I would like to try my hand at a conduit. Gravity manipulation seems particularly interesting to me would there possibly be any more room?

Alright, gonna have to address a lot that's wrong with this whole entire CS Aeron if you intend to actually stay.

1. Chemical/Carbon Manipulation. Being able to manipulate many elements? That's a no. One material per conduit, no debate there. If you want to manipulate carbon, that is unfortunately to broad of an element since carbon is pretty much i everything. Gonna have to narrow that down greatly. It's just to broad and ridiculous to allow.

2. battlesuit. No, just no. Not only is it just as ridiculous as the "carbon" manipulation, it's just kind of dumb. There is no reason whatsoever for her to need a suit. She was never put into combat or given the materials to ever make one, so she wouldn't have the suit before she was set free, and in freedom she wouldn't need a combat suit. This is just, for lack of a better term, stupid.

This isn't OP, well it kind of is, but that's not the point. This isn't OP, this just does not fit into the setting whatsoever. As opposed to everyone else who just need small edits from what I've seen, this needs a 100% overhaul. If you don't want to do that, then consider yourself rejected outright.

As for you arch, I stated in the first post, that this will be based on CS applications. I'll choose a max of five characters submitted to be accepted at a later date. So if you want to join, put a CS up and wait to be accepted.

She can't manipulate every element. Should have explained that better perhaps. She can only manipulate the molecules of whatever explosive she is currently using. If she is planting something like a mine, she can only manipulated and plant an identical mine. If she wants to switch to making frags, she has to detonate the mines then give her body time to switch to the proper materials needed to make drag grenades. But she needs a sample of the needed materials to kick start the biological process.

The suit is needed for a number of reasons. Unless you want her to be immune to every explosive-related explosion, she needs protection from her own power. She is a walking bomb with all of these chemicals surging around in her system, so it is possible for a wayward static shock or flame could ignite her. She has a certain degree of control, but she cannot override nature with the way I built her. The glowing nodes also give her a way to carry a few samples on her person, since they are needed to get her body to produce what she needs. If you want her to be a walking bomb that can go off whenever I'd like, then I can do that too.

It is entirely possible for her to be given the suit while in captivity. Remember, she was experimented on. Why wouldn't the people conducting the experiments-who were forcibly training her specifically for combat purposes-create a means of protection for both themselves AND their investment? Carbon-Carbon fibers are often used for to help protect against high heat environments, and are frequently found in Aerospace programs. If they were planning to weaponize her and use her as a soldier, I'm quite sure that they'd be able to commission and build a suit within 6-7 years.

It feels like you didn't even read my CS all the way through.

It's like you don't know anything about the Infamous universe. They were never going to weaponize the conduits. *Spoilers from here on* Augustine intended Curden Cay to be a way to protect the conduits. In the outside world, the conduits were being lynched and hunted by regular people, and Augustine herself "captured" a conduit she was with when her powers were awakened to convince the government she was on their side. They created the DUP to round up Conduits, and Curden Cay was going to be a way to protect them in a sick and twisted way.

So yeah, they wouldn't give her a suit. And even if they did, they wouldn't let her keep it after the conduits were freed, especially because the threat of one being mentally unstable after being tortured and going on a rampage in vengeance and hate induced state of anger is a legitimate possibility, so giving her a suit would be stupid.

So once again, the suit is stupid and I'm not allowing it. Being able to manipulate multiple types of weapons is also ridiculous. I'm not getting into this.

Either you redesign the character, or you're just flat out rejected. This is not a topic for debate.

If you want to do a mech suit with weapons and all that shit, go to an RP that actually has that. I'm not allowing that here though, and that's final. That stuff doesn't have a place within this setting, so please don't try and force it in.

Wow, I never even knew that warframe and dark sector came from the same group lol. Played Dark sector when I was like in my early teens, I loved the game (though I have a better grasp of game design and realize how not good it actually was, but still dear to me) and I hop onto steam to play warframe every so often. PC master race.Anyone here play DFO since it came back to the states and europe?

Lol yup they pulled most of the lore from that game and put it into Warframe. The infected in warframe is the same virus that infeckted Aiden Tenno in the original. The model warfrsme Excalibur is actually the same exosuit that he finds later on called Excaliber mark 1. Even the name Tenno that's used in conjunction to describe the ninjas in warframe is the last name of the main character in Dark Sector. :) oh and I play on ps4 which is an update behind lol but still badass

I thought your "suit" was just armored that your character can create on the fly out of steal. This suit is instead a weapon developed by the DUP that they would never actually create and give to a conduit.

Would you give something that possibly hates you and has the means to kill you with powers alone, the ability to kill you even better and more efficiently? Short answer, no. This suit doesn't fit into the lore or setting in anyway whatsoever.

Ohhhh ok... either way I've had a better idea that I wanted to run by you since your not so fond of the steel manip.

I was thinking Gasoline manipulation, not fire, but gasoline and possibly similar deviations like ethanol, kerosene and maybe even deisel. I thought up a pretty good back story as well for it but wanted your input first. Its more unique in my opinion

I definitely do like the uniqueness that comes with something unexplored like gasoline. Would be interesting to see it combined with the cloth powers as well. Anyways, I think the premise is interesting and I want to see how you develop it

I play on PS4 as well, and yeah, while it is an update behind I still don't really care. XD I am surprised more people didn't know about the correlation. Hell, in Update 13, the update prior to the most recent one, that released a series of maps called the "Dark Sectors." XD I found that really hilarious.

Also, finishing up my CS now, so it should be finished up in an hour or less, depends on how writey I get. Hahaha.

Edit: Hit me up on Ps4 if you ever want a lore freak and random fellow to run with on Warframe. My gamertag is UrsaMajor95(I love bears, and I love constellations.)
