Hey, sorry to try and jump in at the very last moment, but this RP looks quite interesting. I quickly posted a WIP in the nation sheet thread just to claim a region, but I submit to any admin's decision to kick me out/move me/tell me to change anything about my sheet.

As you can tell be the sheet I posted, I would very much like to join as goblins in region A7, because the setting and that particular province fit perfectly for me to play the continuation of a long-running nation of mine (I can send you links to the now-dead forums in which I played them, if anyone is interested). Basically, if your SyrianHamster highness would be so kind as to allow me, I would be playing something of a miniature Poland-Lithuania but with saintly orders as its basis of organization.

EDIT: My nation's backstory could totally work with goblins not being an imperial race. All of the continental land would have been occupied by lizardfolk and/or dwarves under the Empire, only to be (re)taken by the goblins coming from the little island(s) in the region.

It says you must stick with the preassigned race but since no one has even mentioned the region, he might let you.

Alright, only I've had limited contact with that region (its south of my country), so I'll cut you a deal. You can be Goblins, you can choose your exports, but to fit in with the established lore:

- Your goblinfolk came from region A.12 (Telia, the only Goblin state at present).

- They fled the war-torn region either from persecution, or because they wanted to start anew, free from the constant bloodshed.

- They landed at A.7 with this purpose, and allied themselves with a local deeply religious Dwarf Cleric, and together brought the area under a unified government.

- Your population must accommodate 40,000 Dwarves.

- I can't allow you 300,000 Goblins for this background (as it would be a huge number, given your exodous), but will permit 80,000 Goblins.

- 40,000 Dwarves + 80,000 Goblins, unified by their religious devotion.

How does that sound?

If you want a Goblin state, that is purely Goblin and up for complete refurbishment, then A.12 is your best bet.
Foxy old pal, stay tuned to this section of the post, I need to look at the facts and figures before I let you join. I'll edit it within ten minutes.

EDIT: You're lucky, Bohaddon's army hasn't pounced, it was merely "mustering".

To take over this region, you will need to explain your actions to Bahapore.

Otherwise it looks good, and I have no problem with it.

*Bangs gavil*

Approved.

Edit no.2: You may keep bronze with your iron and slave exports. Also, it's Bohaddon. Bo-hadd-on. Not Bohadden. :)

I am really hard pressed. q.q I have to get troops on my southern border, I have to deal with a rebellion in the center of my nation, and I have to get speed up blackbishops conquest of amplesh so I can get lumber and start building a bigger navy.

Edit: I edited by post and previous GA operations are still on pause

Didn't fancy Hightower's assistance, Blackbishop?

That's cool if you're doing your own thing, just making sure you're aware that the offer is there.

It is what it is. The dice gods do not take into account one's predicament, they just roll and tell me what NPC is doing what. Now with Bohaddon potentially under player control, I'm sure the two of you can work to an agreeable solution.

Will update the map tomorrow, it's 3am here now and I shoulda been asleep 3 hours ago. Laters people.

You've got it contained at the moment, along the coastal areas of your island. It's up to you to specify exactly where, but I like I've said, it's quarantined. The dice wanted it not to be quarantined, but I thought a 60% mortality rate plague this early in the RP might not have been so fair. Depending on how you handle the situation will determine how quickly the plague goes away. I'm thinking 4 game weeks is probably a good average plague length, what'd you think?

O.o why would someone attack a plague ridden nation. Also eternal, can you put your entire nation on lock down? Close all movement in and out of Torfas and quarantine the immune, non infected, and infected separately. They didn't have good medicine back then so they would just wait for a plague to die out. I mean you already got most of it quarantined but you can't risk one person getting out and infecting the entire sum of surrounding nations.

Edit: I won't be on later today

Seems like a good response to me. Oh and why? The dice do not bend to logic. I roll for 2-3 nation actions daily. I rolled region 10,11 and 6. I then had to roll to see what they were upto. 11 rolled invasion, 10 rolled plague and 6 rolled plague. Then I had to roll what kind of invasion, and what kind of plague. It's a boring but random process.

But first take some blood from an infected. It could be used for biological warfare.

That's not an unreasonable idea. Be careful you don't let the plague spread though!

In fact eternal, take as much blood as you can. I got plans for the plague, great and fantastic plans... *evil grin*

Will be off for the remainder of the day in a 1 or 2.

Sure. The plague didn't come from anywhere plot related, if that's what your wondering, it's just a random plague - but you can give it a story or whatever, I don't mind.

Elthana' population can remain. You had them at 60,000, right? Leave them there.
