I was thinking that (your character) was considered a "bad girl" by others in the college, for whatever reason. (Maybe she got in fights, was a bulling type of person, whatever. Hell, she could just be misunderstood for different reasons.)

She's in her early/mid twenties, and is currently on her summer vacation from College. She lives in an apartment block, opposite a single "mom" (My female, Jasmine.) who's about 30-32 years old. (Her "son", James is 15 and has quite severe learning problems, with pretty much 24/7 care needed)

The two females often speak in passing, and know eachother's names and other stuff (Ages, occupation, etc), with James always having cuddles and drawings, etc for her. As such, they form a small sort of friendship.

Many people judge the mother too, assuming she got pregnant at 15. It transpires during the rp that she is infact the older sister of James, but is now legally his guardian.

Stuck with needing care for him while she goes away for a few days to a friend's funeral in another state, Jasmine asks your female to look after him.

During those three days, your character begins to feel genuinly happy, as she realises she is genuinely loved a lot by the boy. (Obviously not romantic, but more like a little brother to a big sister).

Upon the return of Jasmine, (your female) is served an eviction notice, having failed to pay any money for a few months.

Jasmine offers her a place to stay, under one simple rule, which is she helps take care of James.

So the main theme would be a family unit being created (Between James and your female), along with romance between the women.
