Tried a character like this pre-guildfall, let's hope this RP does better.

Name: Melody Wood

Manriki

Abilities: The chain in her Manriki form has no definite length, extending and contracting at will. Additionally, she can transfer a part of her soul wavelength into any object that touches the sharpened weight, letting her cling to it or manipulating it from a distance, usually with explosive results.
Appearance:
I AM BEAUTIFUL!
Brief Personality: Tough and strong willed, Melody doesn't let anybody boss her around. She tends to be a bit vain, especially about her hair, but her mind is keen and her skills are sharp.
Background: Melody spent her life in the lower part of Death City, scraping out a living by stealing from the various lowlifes that infested the area. She always thought of herself as a hero, stealing from the people who stole from the weak. It was only recently that she decided she wanted more out of life, and found herself signing up for the Academy.

You're quite right, but collaborating on combat post might not be feasible, and it might become a bitch for the other players to read... Pros and cons, you know. Honestly, I think time I can collab with someone is great, but I don't have the technology to do it most of the time, nor am I a fast typer, which means collabs take forever to complete... :( And then they have to be edited. To use a trope: "awesome, but impractical". And, if it practical for you, that part of what I'm saying. It shouldn't be restricted either way.

I understand completely, though there are many ways to collab (Guild PM, Chatzy, Google Docs) some might be hindered by it. Then again, collabs could only be used for combat and that would make them a bit less frequent. Also, if the two writers wish they could easily distinguish who's writing what with name tags or whatever you put on top a post uwu but if it is an issue then do what is comfortable for you (if the GM is okay with it, at least)

Also, so many chikas. We need more sausages in this (what's the food that is relevant to female gentialia? Apples? Hamburgers? Buns? Sandwiches? These are probably sexist oop) fest

Abilities:
- Soul Bullets
- Partial Transformation
- Soul Resonance
- Resonance Form: Jenny grows and wraps around her Meister's arm similar to Liz and Patty's Resonance Form and her six cylinder chambers grow out turning into a six barreled minigun which fires more powerful Soul Bullets at an extremely high rate of fire.

Appearance:


Brief Personality: Jenny is loud and boisterous, and has a habit for telling it how it is with little regard for personal feelings. She doesn't do this out of spite but rather out of an unshakable sense of honesty. Jenny also likes to tease people that she likes, as it's her own personal way of showing affection.

Background: Jenny grew up a regular cowgirl. Her family owned and operated a cattle ranch in Texas, USA and Jenny worked on the ranch from the moment she was old enough to ride a horse. Many years ago, her family's ancestor had been turned, by a Witch, into the Demon Revolver. Since his death, the Weapon gene had been passed down through her family blood-line, laying dormant until it reached her. Jenny awakened her Weapon blood when she was only ten years old and taught herself to master it in secret. When she was fourteen, however, an incident on the farm caused her family to discover that she was a Weapon and they told her everything about her ancestor and the DWMA. Jenny decided that she'd like to go to the DWMA and so she was quickly admitted.

Also the "Demon" in Demon Revolver doesn't actually mean anything. It's just that I remembered that all Weapons have Demon in front of them. Like Soul is a Demon Scythe (a Death Scythe now), Jacqueline is a Demon Lantern, Tsugumi is a Demon Halberd, etc

Quick question about the magic theme, what exactly do you mean by that? I had a basic grasp of the idea, but then I read your character's magic theme, and I never imagined high-tech to be in that category. Can someone explain?

Brief personality: Michael is a very calm and analytical young man. while capable of rising to most physical challenges, he prefers problems which require intellect and thought to overcome. He arely allows emotion to cloud his judgment which results in him seeming cold and distant most of the time, but in reality he is actually quite caring when it comes to his friends.

Background: Michael was born to a foreign mother and Japanese father who owned a dojo. His father demanded nothing short of excellence in every aspect of his son's life and as a result Michael's childhood was one of intense study and unforgiving training. His mother was also in poor health and, with his father busy running the dojo, Michael spent his spare time caring for her. These were his favorite memories from his childhood as, while his father was demanding, his mother was gentle and asked nothing of him. It was her who taught him what kindness and love were. When His mother passed away, Michael decided that there was nothing left for him in his home. His father only saw him as a legacy, not a son, so he left. He left home, left the country and joined the DWMA. He knew that in the DWMA he would be able to put the skills he had to good use and maybe find a new family.

Sorry sorry I'm on mobile and wasn't able to finish the answer hehe. I'm not so sure about the theme, so perhaps looking up Witches on the Soul Eater wiki would help out? I'd look for you but, again, mobile.

I still dunno how I feel about one person having both characters in a pair. If it makes you uncertain, having just a weapon who might lose agency at times, then make a NOT meister, too, or something. Someone you can still enjoy playing, but won't face the same problem. Or work it out in a collab, that's a good idea.

Well, as I see it, Witches have an animal theme but not magical animals.

Blair's theme was pumpkins, though she herself was not a witch.

Oh I'll call dibs on Michael is Jenny's Meister, if Toaster's ok with it and we are both accepted.

Animal magic themes are different. Blair's is Halloween, for example. I'm not sure if I should pick a holiday or what, so I just went with 'whatever'. Hmm, maybe I should pick something else...
