I'm kind of the poster child of that.

I was more poking fun that most people on the guild are younger and still live at home, and thus they don't really have much of a choice in the matter of where they live, and even in college it's a temporary (usually) situation. Not many people in the 18-30 age bracket (comparatively) move cross country for a new job unless where they are from is pretty much dead end for job prospects (as was my particular instance).

Most of the time when people phrase things like you did, they usually didn't have a choice in the matter, which kind of makes it amusing. Nothing serious or malicious intended, ho hum.

Apparently my city is notorious for everyone going off to college and coming back. Like most people who live in the area are from the area.
