If people want a casual Sci-fi Nation Roleplay, I'm game to GM one. I'm a NRP veteran and know a lot about how to play and run one. It would be loosely stat-based, but more centered around individual heroes each nation would have.

Would that attract some people's interest?

He's looking for a fantasy roleplay, of course there's always Science Fantasy. People usually don't count that though, they almost always want high fantasy and the like. I can't be the GM, but I can tell you that Duck is a good idea for this as long as you're good with the inevitable Equestrian nation.

Its not a fantasy nation RP without magical ponies.

As for my plans I plan to have a world thats pretty much blank. Most Civs will start as Wandering Tribes or City-States, however that is not to say you can't grow into a powerful empire that spans the globe. The history and stuff is up to the players, and you can pretty much be any fantasy race you choose.

There will be magic and a stat-system, you get 50 points to start off with but you can research technologies to add more points to these stats. For every two points in a stat you get a plus to that, the more points into the stat the better your at it. I haven't worked out exactly what I will have for stats, but I will say any race that decides to for go having magic get a nice bonus to magical resistance.

Map isn't necessary until a later phase, we still have time to go until it's needed.

I posted a map on the first page, but if you don't want to use it, I won't be heartbroken. All I did was go on a map generator, made a map, then crop it down to an area I liked. :p

I actually may have to abandon this. I have other RPs im in, and others I would like to join. While this still interest me there are other things that interest me more, plus IRL and other things. Sorry Joe.

Actually, I could GM a fantasy RP. If it falls to me, though, I'm making my own world map (Because it would fit my senario better (And because I love making maps)).
