Kotoura-san, Elfen Lied, Gurren Lagann (because of the ending), Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei, Now and then here and there, Shiki, Darker than black, Gantz, Neon Genesis Evangelion...?
You knew that last one was coming, but its mostly angst, which is more a like tween-flavored version of despair.

I only watched a few episodes before I decided "This is really depressing!!" and then I stopped watching. I mean, Kotoura-san makes you feel like crap, but only for about six minutes. Oh, also add Angel Beats to the list.

Watch the rest and be ready to slit your wrists; great narrative, but hella depressing. Kotoura-san was good but the beginning just felt forced; far too much emo in the space of five minutes.
