Hey, Syrian - were the halflings involved in either of the battles you had today?I'll be making a post soonish.

Nope, the next post I make will involve the completion of 'The Mustering', whereby I plan to have around 15,000 Elves. It'll be Belmorn's last army, as the population has been too depleted and the nation's infrastructure ruined by the unexpected storming success of Jouria's army.

Plus I need to start thinking about whether Jouria's army is going to replenish its losses. I mean a crushing blow like that would surely rally more Lizards to the Prince's banner? I want to be realistic, but not put my peoples beyond hope lol. Maybe I'll chuck a couple thousand their way, rather than replenish or expand it.

Anyways, sorry, I went off on a tangent. Your halflings have arrived at Hadelmere Hold, where the Council of the Nine are assembling the Elf population for a massive counter attack. Here's a map of my country, to give you an idea of what's what:

King Dryadson I will be arriving back at Hadelmere next post. It's possible he may seek the total annihilation of Jouria, in the event of a Belmornian victory, for their troubles of putting Fengarde to the torch.

My wheat exports will have stopped, as Fengarde was the nation's farming hub, which also puts further strain on my people and the newly established army.

The human population, mostly now refugees and leaderless, are paralysed by the crisis and wont be taking part until I finish up the new monarch subplot. .

When you gotta go, you gotta go. I'll place your nation under NPC Passive ownership. and if it still exists when you come back, you may reclaim it.

I'll try and get a post up today detailing the movement of my forces, and the beginning of their attack.

Looking forward to it, my friend. Your writing is to this RP is what Tyrion is to GOT. ;) Welcome back buddy; I was a day away from making your land sink into the sea :D

That is quite the compliment, thank you!

...Looks like there were some problems with the forum yesterday, as I lost an IC I attempted to post. Luckily this was just a lore post detailing the Clans of Vanguar which I can rewrite easily enough. I have a busy weekend coming up so a bit of a delay on those ICs - hopefully tomorrow or monday.

Yes but bohaddon already retreated by the time the reinforcements arrived. I just sent all help that arrived back.

Incase anyone was wondering, as I left the detail of the NPC races to the imagination, this is what these Lizards look like. I've only ever seen them in the Warhammer series, and so that's what drives the inspiration there.

Ratmen look like the Skaven, for the same reasons that I've never really seen a rat-humanoid species outside of the Warhammer universe. At the time of making this RP, I was grasping at straws outside of the traditional Elf/Dwarf/Orc combo.

I hope that clears up any confusion for those of you have actually have to fight them.

Two questions.

1. Is the BFE invading helor?

2. Is there going to be a conflict between NBE(New Bohhadon Empire) and BFE?

I don't want to say too much, as nothing has been decided yet. However, from what is already established, we know that Helor was Hightower's ally. The Ratmen are likely to invade them - if they themselves are not invaded first. Bohaddon's army movements wont be hidden from BFE, and they'll more than likely hold off an invasion of Helor to deal with the human threat. To make matters worse for Fiendish, his nation's pro-human stance has probably alienated the Ratmen, and so gaining their cooperation in a joint-offensive may be a bit of a tricky issue. However, mutual survival rules the roost at the end of the day, and anything is possible; I'll leave it for Fiendish to decide whether or not he wants them to help, but he if does, he'll need to win them over with either kind or cunning words. Alternatively, Panda is poised to be a likely ally to Bohaddon, and help may be found by going there.

Be warned though, I will adjust the Empire's fighting strength to reflect the forces that are availed against it - to prevent a two week blitzkrieg of them. Nothing OP, of course, I'll just make sure it's fair.

As for the Southern Bohaddon Empire, its agenda is not clear yet. It has recently acquired three new regions after a lengthy summer campaign; but it has not contacted anyone, and right now no one knows whether they seek to stay in the south, or indeed, move north to reclaim their ancestral heartlands. However, if they do intend to press north, then the BFE will be forced to either pledge its allegiance to a new Emperor, as they did before this mess started, or dismiss him as an usurper and go to war.

Don't think there is much to save in Hightower, barely any humans with the genocide.

Sorry for the delay. I was hoping Panda would have their hard-drive fixed, and had responded to my proposal, as it could affect the outcome of the battle. However, I don't want to hold up the RP by waiting too long, so ill post later today.

I'll most likely be posting today as I expect the HDD to be delivered in an hour or two. I'll accept your proposal and in fact I'll probably go all out against the pesky lizards.

EDIT: Just got it, expect a post within two hours.

A dockyard is a huge naval installation. You can churn out as many ships as you need, and as quickly as you need (within reason: no replenishing a destroyed navy in one week). What matters more, is, can your nation afford to float the ships?

I'm keeping this as free form as possible, but if it were me, I'd probably go for around 10 lights, 5 mediums and 2 heavies. If this was what you were already producing, then double it- but just remember that I'm more interested in how you can afford to float them.

I just raised an army of 15000 Elves in like, what, 4 weeks? I did it because I can, as I have the population and I can argue that as Elves live a long life, most of them will undoubtedly have some military training... HOWEVER, it's brought my economy from average to poor, and I've made a point in mentioning that it's Belmorn's last offensive force, and if it is defeated, there will be few left to create another.

So keep it freeform, keep it reasonable, and I'll politely intervene if I feel that you are at any point over stepping things. This is why we have nation cards, so I can quickly check what everyone has :)

Don't worry. I'm sending merchants ships to regions 20, 19, 17, 13, and 14 with diplomats for trade pacts. Here comes the money. :3
