So, I was thinking about some RPs I've been a part of in the past that were centered on the characters being incarnations of the seven sins. Then I thought, what if I tweaked that and instead there were obtainable objects that were the incarnations of the seven sins, each with abilities that mirror the sins. And what if the wielders of these artifacts were called Sin Avatars? (No, I'm not thinking Avatar the Last Airbender, nor the blue skinned people Avatar. I just borrowed the word.) So, here are the different artifacts that I came up with. I would need six other RPer's at least, besides myself, to make this RP work. If I get enough interest, I can write up an OC and we can start making characters. ^_^ Oh, and sorry, but my character will probably be the Avatar of Pride. So, sorry if you guys got your hopes up for that. :P

The only objects that have downsides are Gluttony and Pride, so how could we balance this? Would any enemies possess the artefacts? Possibly objects that are incarnations of the seven heavenly virtues: Chastity, Temperance, Charity, Diligence, Patience, Kindness and Humility?

At this point, I'm still assessing interest, so I won't be giving anyone a claim on anything until I start the OC. After that it'll be first come first serve.

As for downsides, Pride actually doesn't really have a negative effect, simply a certain limitation. After all, I can't go making the objects too powerful, which is why Gluttony is the only one with a possibility of harming it's Avatar. I did that because the vortex is already extremely powerful and can be activated and controlled by the Avatar of Gluttony at will. Therefore, it's still rather difficult for Gluttony to kill it's Avatar, as it would basically have to be the case that the Avatar of Gluttony activates Gluttony while pointing it at himself.

I mentioned in Envy's description that it is the ONLY artifact which allows one to possess two of the Sin artifacts. There is no other way for someone who already has a Sin to claim another.

I have a basic idea, but not a whole plot. I was waiting to see if there was interest before I put too much thought into something that may or may not go anywhere. It seems like there is enough interest, so I will probably have the OC up in a day or two. As for the time period, it's likely going to be modern, making the Sin artifacts even more unique due to their slightly archaic forms.

Alright then, sounds like a plan - I'll start working on a character.

Also, if you're concerned about Avatar being perceived as taken, you could use Aspects. They're hardly ever used.
