"I guess so." I smirked, walking down the path. "Do you remember which one is ours once we reach the dorms?" I asked. "I think I do, but I'm not one hundred percent sure." I reached my hands towards my backpack and stuffed the icepack inside. It was getting too cold to hold.

"Uuuh, no? I guess we'll find out when we walk in to the wrong one or the right one." I said as we walked along slowly. I saw Daisy's backpack as she slipped her ice pack into it and I suddenly remembered I didn't have mine. Hopefully it was somewhere in the camp at least. "There's not really anything separating them form each other, so they all look exactly the same."

"Ugh, I know that sucks." I frowned. "Hopefully we'll find it. Or hopefully someone will recognize us and flag us over." I looked at the dorms ahead of us, trying to decide if I could make ours out. I couldn't. "I'd hate to walk into the wrong dorm. The other soldiers are gonna think we're lame." I joked and laughed, but made myself stop. It hurt if I laughed too hard.

I smiled and managed to hold myself back from laughing this time. "Yeah, you got that right." I said nodding before looking over each of the cabins, almost forcing myself to recognise one.
My legs we're starting to ache from all this walking while I was weak and tired, my body not in the right condition for exercise. I wondered suddenly what the General must think, if he'd heard anything about what had happened. Did he think I was stupid or weak for what I'd let happen?

After walking for another minute or two, we'd finally reached the dorms. I stopped and looked them over, trying to remember one little detail about how our dorm looked. "I think it's that one." I said, remembering how we'd rushed to it because it was one of the few cabins that weren't full when we picked it. "I'm pretty sure of it." I nodded to a cabin on the right.

I looked over to where Daisy was pointing and looked it over carefully. In the end, I shrugged slowly and stopped walking. "I guess it won't hurt to try." I said glancing at her. "You're probably right though." I smiled and started towards the cabin.

"Oh I hope so." I scoffed. "Plus we need to get you in bed. I know you must be aching with all this walking we're doing." I walked beside him as we neared the cabin. Once we reached it, I opened the door and peeked inside. "This is the one." I fully stepped inside now, spotting my bed just how I'd left it. Undone and the extra pair of clothes at the edge of it. "Hallelujah, I can't wait to go to bed!" I said with a smile, holding the door open for Sam.

I sighed in relief as I followed Daisy through the door of our cabin. "Thank God, good job on finding it! I was useless." I said with a small chuckle as I stared at my bed, seeing my clothes laying on the end where I left them. It looked so inviting despite how in left it, I guess I was just that tired that I didn't care anymore.

I laughed, "You weren't useless." I said with a shake of my head, glancing back at Sam and flashing him a smile. I was so relieved to be back. As I walked towards my bed, I shook my backpack off and caught it in one of my hands, placing it gently on on the floor beside the bed. I desperately wanted to take a shower and get all of yesterday's dirt off of me. But I grew incredibly tired as soon as we walked through the door. I would take a shower after I woke back up. In the meantime, I wanted to at least change clothes.
Grabbing the extra pair I'd left on the bed before we left, I walked to the bathrooms and quickly changed. Once I was finished, I hurried back to my bed and chucked my dirty clothes underneath it. "I'll pick those up later." I mumbled to myself. Hopping into bed, I slithered under the thing blankets and rolled over on my stomach. I gasped, already forgetting how badly it hurt to put pressure on it. I quickly turned to my side, getting ready for a good sleep.

I sat on bed when Daisy went off to change, and gently pulled my jacket off, setting it down beside me. With a sigh, I pulled out the bruise cream Glenda gave me. I wanted to just collapse into bed and not think about anything. Placing the cream back in the jacket pocket, I then reached to the pile of clothes on the end of the bed, wincing when I stretched my body too much.
Grabbing my track pants and a loose grey jumper, I slowly changed wincing every time I moved wrong. After what felt like forever, I lay back on the bed, my head sinking into the stiff pillow, more comfortable than it should be. I didn't even hear Daisy come back, I was out in seconds.

The room was close to silent, and almost everyone in our cabin was gone. There were a few people lying in bed flipping through magazines and others just lazing around. Everytime I blinked it became harder for me to keep my eyes open. I yawned, covering my mouth with one hand and shutting my eyes. Before I could even try to open them again, I was fast asleep.

I slowly roused from my sleep, waking up gently to a dull dark room, quiet and still, with no one there to make a sound. I longed to stretch out, but even in my drowsy state I knew that would be a bad idea.
I licked my dry lips and lifted a hand to rub the sleep out of my eyes. I wondered how long I had been sleeping for, it felt like days, but I knew it must've only been hours. Daisy was lying still in her own bed beside me, her breaths even and slow as she slept.
It must've been dinner time, it explained why there was no one here and why my stomach groaned at the thought of it.

I accidentally rolled onto my stomach and groaned. I wasn't used to sleeping on my side or back and being hurt didn't exactly make me remember I had to. I furrowed my brows, sighed and rubbed my eyes as I sat up. I had yet to open them. I didn't want to. I wanted to go back to sleep for the remainder of the day but I knew I shouldn't.
"What time is it?" I asked with a groggy voice, particularly to no one. I finally opened my eyes and took a look around the room. It was empty and getting dark. I turned to see Sam still lying in bed. I couldn't tell if he was still asleep or not.

Daisy's tired voice broke me out of my thoughts and I looked over at her to see her sitting up. "Dinner time I'd say." I spoke up to answer the question she had asked to the empty room. I lay still, afraid if I tried to move I'd make the ache in my body feel even worse. "Or at least that's what my stomach's saying." I added, a low rumble came from my stomach and I smiled, raising an eyebrow as if it was proving my point.

A smirk crept across my face when his stomach growled. "Then we should go get something to eat, huh?" I tilted my head with the question. I knew I had to get up and out of bed but I didn't want to. I just wanted to sleep. I was so tired and I had no clue why I was this tired. I was sure we'd slept for about ten hours or more. I buried my face in my hands and huffed. "Alright, Daisy. Get up." My muffled voice said to myself. I slid my hands down the sides of my face. Gently, I swung my legs over the side of the bed and removed the thin blankets, planting my feet on the cold hard floor, and standing up.

I sighed as I watched Daisy fight with herself before pulling her bed covers off and climbing out of bed. I knew I needed to do the same, but the pain that would accompany it wasn't going to be pleasant. Slowly, I pushed myself up into a sitting position, wincing as every muscle and bone in my body protested against the movement after laying still for so long. Fighting a groan, I reached down to the end of the bed for my jacket. I couldn't be bothered changing again, it was far too painful and tiresome, so I decided to stay in my track pants, seeing as soon as I'd eaten I'd be straight back into bed anyway.
Zipping up my jumper, I pulled the blankets off of my legs and twisted my body, my feet hitting my shoes where I'd left them earlier ready for me to put on.

I yawned as I slipped my feet into my shoes and grabbed my jacket from the edge of my bed. Putting it on and zipping it up, I turned towards Sam to see if he was ready.
"Are you going to be alright?" I asked. I knew he was still in a lot of pain. Every move he made looked as if he was holding back a groan or wince. "I'm sure I can just grab some food in a to-go box for you." I offered.

"No, no. I'm coming. I could use some fresh air." I said as I finished pulling on my shoes. Standing up, I smiled at Daisy and put an arm around my ribs, it was becoming almost natural, walking around as if I was holding myself together, simply as an attempt to stop the pain. "Let's go." I led the way to the door way and pushed it open, nodding for Daisy to continue through ahead of me.
"There better be some food left over, or I'm probably going to hurt someone." I said matter-of-factly raising my eyebrows in Daisy's direction as we walked down the street together. "And hopefully there's something slightly decent on the menu tonight."

"You're gonna hurt someone, huh?" I smiled, reaching out arm to nudge him but stopped, knowing that would hurt him. "Yeah, we'll see about that." I chuckled. "As for the menu, I [i]do[/] hope there is something good. I just realized we haven't had a real meal in about two days." I frowned. "And the more that I think about it, the hungrier I get." I poked my stomach out and patted it. "I need some food." I said, making my voice deeper in attempt to sound like a man. I failed, wiggling my eyebrows at Sam and laughing.

I laughed, ignoring the pain it caused me, and shook my head. "Well we better hurry up or your voice might drop even lower and you'll be stuck sounding like a man forever." I joked, laughing again. I knew the mess hall wasn't too far off from our cabins, but when I was this hungry, it felt like miles. "Do you think there's anyway of just teleporting ourselves to the food hall? I'm already sick of walking."
