Free to casual posting standards -- one to two sentences per post, paragraph at a most.
Setting is New Orleans during Mardi Gras, when all hell breaks loose and magical beings appear out of thin air to terrorize the drunkenly partying city. You're a party goer in the middle of the terror.

Mardi Gras in New Orleans is a big huge loud drunken parade where beads are given to women in exchange for a look at their chests.

Be realistic -- most party goers won't be armed at all, or they'll have knives, pepper spray, a handgun (very limited ammo) or something of that nature.
