Things to know before you sign up for the RP:
The first thing I want to let you guys know is that I have 2 jobs and I go to the gym. So my schedule usually consists of this; wake up, go to work, get home for an hour, go to the other job, go to the gym then finally sleep. I'll usually be able to post between jobs and when I get home from the gym. I really wanna start this RP and see where it can take us. I have never personally played the game but I've watched PewDiePie playthrough it and I thought it was really intriguing. For me though it definitely lacked a lot of story, sure he killed the colossus to save his girl but I feel like it was hardly any depth. They could have added a ton more content to the game to make it that much better.
Sorry to bore you with all those details but I really just want to RP this particular story and see what develops. Most of the story will probably come from you as the player to add awesome stories, content and cool plot twists to the game. I will probably assign a CO-GM to help out obviously because I won't be able to add content and reply to your characters at a good time.
Storyline:
The year is 210 AD.
People in this land don't believe in magic, nor do they believe in the supernatural, but they do believe in one thing that can be apart of both those categories. The myth has has been told for a millennium. 'If you go to the Forbidden Land, you can make a wish and it will be fulfilled.' No one knows how accurate the myth is because anyone who has ever dared to go to the Forbidden Land has never came back.
A Inn was the only building within a week's journey towards civilization. Hero's Last Stop. The inn earned this nickname because the people that stay usually are heading towards a distant land called Forbidden Land. The inn was on the border between Vallonde and the Forbidden Land. Hero's Last Stop was designed and built with precision and beauty.
“Why have such a nice and expensive looking inn on the border of such a cursed land?” A regular patron of the inn asked the innkeeper.
The innkeeper looked towards this stranger and put both his arms on the bar, with a lowered voice he replied, “Why not give people a nice warm place to stay before they march towards their deaths?”
The stranger didn't say anything else to the innkeeper acknowledging what he said and agreed with it. Shortly after this occurred a group of travelers entered inside. Some of them looked like adventurers, some warriors, while others commoners. They didn't seem to know each other very well, like they had just met somewhere near the inn and just gathered as they walked towards the inn.
Other Info:
The RP is medieval based. Our characters aren't going to have special powers or abilities. I'm thinking that we can find a special weapon or something that can slay the colossus and other monsters later on in the game just like in the original game.
I'm always open for input with you guys/girls, so if you have any suggestions that would seem to make this RP that much more awesome let me know and we can figure it out together.
Rules:
No godmodding, metagaming, Mary sue, Gary Stu, overpowered characters or so on. You don't know when people are thinking or talking about you in real life, so you can't know it in the RP. Keep it REALISTIC.
NO POSTING OOC STUFF IN IC. I get so mad when people post OOC stuff in IC. Keep your talk to OOC.
PG-13 RP ? I don't care really, but just keep sex and all that to the PM's (Try to be easy on the cussing. I personally cuss all the damn time in real life, but in RP's it just disrupts the mood of the RP)
