Bruce just nodded "Ah I see, I suppose I should ask him if he doesn't try hide that from me and you." He was thinking. He knew Tony had been working on some new project and wondered if that was linked to Tony's illness and behaviour.
"Doesn't help that he is so stubborn." he shook his head.
"Mmmm."

When Tony hit Bruce, the man tried to not react. He was trying to keep himself in control. He didn't want to loose it now. Tony was coughing a bit and he leaned over almost throwing up. Bruce was quick enough to get a bucket before it happened.
"I'm just trying to help you Tony, don't get mad at me." He waited to see if Tony was going to throw up before he gets him a glass of water. Though just as he does Tony throws up. Bruce just passes it to him after.
"Hes been working on some new project I am sure, Maybe something about it is causing this."
Tony looked confused as he looked at Pepper "Hah? " He seemed confused.

Pepper got a closer look at Bruce's face, thankfully he wasn't bleeding. Still it was quite the punch Tony had thrown out. Soon enough he was coughing and the bucket came into view. He was in pain and he was suffering it alone like he always did. She watched him with sad eyes wishing she could help, but there was only so much Pepper could do for him. It frustrated her sometimes that she could only manage his work, but Tony had the weight of the world sometimes. "A project? I heard about it... but he won't tell me what. JARVIS what has Tony been up to? There's a project he's been working on right?" she asked.

"My apologies Miss. Potts, but you do not have authorized access to it," JARVIS replied which of course caused her to grunt softly. "Can I leave him with you? Maybe I can try to get into his mainframe from his lab," she mumbled though she was doubtful about it. Still there wasn't much she could do at this point.

Tony was coughing. "Pepper... please stay with me." he was dazed. He seemed shaky. He was not feeling very well. He lay back and whimpered a bit. He seemed in pain. "Pep.... I feel sick."
He had tears in his eyes from the pain. "The project is nothing!!" He yelled "You don't need to know." He was angry for no reason again. He was curled up in his bed and was feeling miserable. He groaned a bit.

Bruce was looking at him "Calm down Tony," He nodded to Pepper "I can stay with him, Tony she will be back ok." He was not sure what he could do to comfort his friend. He gets the washcloth wet again and lays it across his forehead.
He wondered what Tony was working on, Tony hadn't told him that much.

It tore her heart to hear him whimper and plead. It was so unlike him to be begging her like this, it showed that he was really ill for him to be acting like this. "I'll be right back, Tony." She assured before thanking Banner as she rushed back into the elevator. Pressing the button she leaned back against the elevator wondering what she could really do. When the elevator came to a stop at his floor she stepped out and saw the mess.

Papers scattered over the floor and table along with a few things he was building. Oil stained t-shirts were left over the sofa and bottles of alcohol everywhere. Quietly she moved over to the table picking up some of the papers which of course had no relation to whatever he was working on. All of the data had to be on his files, "JARVIS who exactly has access to his project? How long has he been working on this?" she asked hoping he would be able to provide at least something for her to use.

Tony was laying in his bed. He wished that he knew what was wrong. His eyes stayed closed. He wondered if he had just overdone it working. He seemed to be finding it hard to fight off. He winced and lay there. He looked at Bruce.
He hoped Bruce would be able to help him.
The man growled again. "Bruce what are you standing there for !!" he looked ready to strike his friend again.

JARVIS spoke up again " He hasn't given anybody else access. Bruce Banner barely even knows what Tony is up to." The Ai informed her. Tony was laying there panting. He had been working on some new invention.
The invention had a new element in it that was very dangerous. Tony seemed to keep all the files on his computer. The genius closed his eyes and curled up in pain. He was coughing more.

Pepper frowned at the news, there was nothing she could do at this point. There was no way she could override JARVIS's system with her abilities. "What am I supposed to do now?" she asked softly as she stared at his desk. She felt helpless, even Bruce wouldn't be able to get through since he had limited access. Turning around she returned back to his room looking gloomy and disappointed. "I can't get into the system," she bluntly informed as she moved over to sit on the bed. "How is he doing?" she asked Bruce noticing how he was coughing pretty hard. "Shouldn't we get him to a hospital? It seems serious," she murmured with concern.

JARVIS knew it would be defying Tony's orders. Tony was laying there and he coughed again, "N..No hopsitals," He was looking at Pepper. He seemed very weak and dazed. He had no idea somebody who was his enemey knew about his project.
He also was unaware of the dangerous new element that he had used.

"I don't think thats a good idea, this doesn't seem anything normal." Bruce was looking at her. He had been doing his best to get his tempreature down. He wanted to make sure that Tony was comfortable.
Tony was shivering and he curled up in his blankets.
"Pepper." he kept muttering her name. He seemed to be more dazed and out of it.

Pepper frowned, "But what now? He's in pain... I don't know how to handle this. I can't access his data... if this is serious then it would be safe to assume that it's life threatening." She felt tears prick her eyes as she stared down at Tony. "What can we do? I'm freaking out," she bluntly spoke trying her best not to cry. "Isn't there anything you can do? If we can't take him to a hospital.. there must be something you can do for him here?" she asked pleadingly. She wished she had taken notice earlier maybe then she could have gotten him to see someone before things had worsen to this extent.

Bruce was looking at her "MMmm well I am not sure if you are going to have to convince Tony to access his project plans." He knew that Tony couldn't be stubborn for ever. "Tony your life may be at risk , can you please not hide your project anymore."
He could see Pepper was freaking out.
Tony was curled up and mumbled "Too dizzy and tired." He really didn't want to do anything. He knew it could be dangerous to let anybody else know. He didnt want Pepper hurt.

"Tony," Bruce looked at him seriously "This could be important." He sees Tony is staring at him and seeming paniced. Tony backed up and was coughing badly. Bruce gives Tony some injection to help calm Tony down.
"I'll do my best Pepper." Bruce replied.

Tony was looking pale and dizzy. "Fine..," he grabbed his laptop and accessed his data and plans. He was coughing badly. "Its a new invention.. Telling you may be dangerous for your safety."
He was breathing deeply "The project has a new element..." He was still unaware how dangerous the element was to his health. He gasped painfully. He had no idea what it was doing to him. He screamed in pain.

Pepper placed her hand over his cheek as she frowned, "Tony, please show us. You're scaring me right now," she told him truthfully, but instead he curled up and refused. Her heart dropped at the thought of losing him. What was it that he was working on that required him to be so secretive about it? She began to wonder if SHIELD was aware of this as well, then again it was unlikely. He made sure to make his system far more secured to avoid them hacking. She watched Bruce give Tony something, thankfully he took it and didn't fight back.

Her head lifted up when he mentioned telling them. Her eyes now fixed on him as she waited with anticipation, "A new element? Tony are you building something with this element? Have you been in contact with it?" she asked softly wondering if that was the cause. It was likely that that element was the very thing making him sick if he had been in contact with it. When he screamed out she gasped wondering what she could do. "How do we help him?": she asked Bruce sounding alarmed and panicked. Tears were strolling down her face as she cried.

Bruce had to give Tony something to ease his pain. He knew the man was in agony. Tony was looking at her "Listen Pepper. telling you this could put you in danger, I don't want you hurt, You and Bruce cant tell anybody."
He looked serious as he was talking to her. He was coughing "I have used it in my invention yes. And I have had contact with it." He really didn't want anybody else knowing. He couldn't endanger those he cared about.
Tony seemed to be sweating and he curled up in pain.

Bruce was looking at her "We need to find out more about this element, Maybe get JARVIS to run some scans. I can understand it making him sick, But the rage...," He was trying to think. Tony had no idea the element wasnt of earth and had Asgardian orgins.
He hoped Pepper and Bruce weren't in trouble now that he had told them.
Tony was close to passing out again as his body was just been so worn down.

Pepper was shocked to hear that he had indeed had contact with the element. That had to be what was making him so sick, even JARVIS was having difficulty informing them what was wrong with Tony. "JARVIS, Tony has given us access to his files, please authorise me," she pleaded, her voice soft and weak.

"Acess Granted," JARVIS informed as Pepper wiped her tears away. "Bruce stay with him, I need to go through his files, JARVIS run scans over this element, we need more information," Pepper spoke as she moved over to the elevator. She hoped Tony would be fine without her, he had Bruce so she was assured nothing bad would happen.

Once she was back in his lab all the files opened up in the air, they were detailed images and blueprints of his invention, of course notes and scribbles I'm his handwriting that she had recognised. "Miss. Potts, regrading the element analysis, the results show it to have a high concentration level of Electromagnetic energy," JARVIS had continued on with What he had found but Pepper struggled to understand what it really was. Eventually he informed her that there wasn't enough information when it came to why it was affecting Tony's health.

Tony was laying there feeling weak. He wasn't sure how the element could do this to him, He wondered if he should try get up. He was wanting to find out what was happening to him. But there was no way Banner was letting him out of bed.
He coughed and lay back down.

"JARVIS........... I think this element is not of earth." he replied.

"Well it is certianly not like anything I know of. Prehaps Thor would know." JARVIS cut in. He then informed Pepper what Tony just said. Bruce was watching Tony, he knew the man was probably planning to try and get up.
"Mmm Thor could be worlds away, Not seen him, so not sure if hes on earth." Tony hadn't really bothered to check as he had been too busy lately. "Or hes just with Jane." he smirked a bit.
Tony was coughing badly and he grabbed his bucket again. This time he coughed up blood though. Bruce looked concerned and panicked, He knew they needed to find out soon.
"STOP LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT I"M FINE," Tony shouted. Bruce moved out of the way before he could be hit again.

Pepper was startled to hear JARVIS's voice whilst she was reading the papers. It seemed to have a large amount of power, if the power could be extracted properly it could fuel all sorts of things ranging from cars to planes maybe even one of his suits.

"Thor... Is there anyway for us to track him?" she asked sounding hopeful. "Unfortunately no. His GPS tracker gets damaged whenever he returns home." Pepper sighed as she tried to think of something else. "Foster, I think that was her last name" Pepper spoke.

"Would you like me to contact Ms. Jane Foster?" he asked. Pepper nodded and she was soon put on call with her, but just as the call got through the window shattered something skimmed right past her. Alarms immediately went off as Pepper glanced around with shock. Shutters were being activated, and the lights had turned off.

Tony was laying in his bed. He knew that he didn't want to share his plans with too many of the Avengers and get them in trouble . He also was just afraid of who would find out. He was looking around where he was.
He closed his eyes and groaned . "Bruce... can you fix this?"

Bruce was looking at him "I need more infomation Tony, you should be more careful with what elements you use." He did seem concerned about Tony using that element. Tony heard the window smash. "Great something else to fix."
Feeling weak, he gets up and rushed down to his lab. His was very weak. He coughed.
"Whats going on?" He gasped.

Pepper rushed to the door but it was sealed shut. It was the only way out of the lab and soon enough she caught sight of Tony on the otherside looking panicked. "JARVIS open the door!" she shouted but there was no response, she attempted to put her password into the machine but it had rejected it. The shutters had also stopped moving as the power went out completely.

"Sir my main frame system has been overrided, we are now using our backup generator but I have lost control of this building," JARVIS reported. "An intruder is already inside, though I am not sure of his exact whereabouts," he added.

"PEPPER!!!" He yelled. He was coughing badly. He couldn't stay in bed when he knew somebody was in the tower. He wanted to get to Pepper. He wanted to make sure she was safe. He needed to get to his suit as well.
He was looking around. He was looking for something to get the door open. He knew stuff was gonna need to be repaired anyways.
"Who is here!!" He growled.

Bruce rushed down to Tony, "Tony.!" he knew that Tony was barely well enough to be up. But he knew Tony would protect Pepper no matter what. He was looking around and pushed his glasses up.

Pepper was worried about Tony, he was coughing badly but she couldn't get to him through the glass door. She continued to pull at the door but it was sealed shut. The alarms continued to sound out as Pepper stood there helplessly, though she didn't stand there for too long as she turned around when she heard someone break through from the ceiling. Rubble fell to the floor as a man appeared, clearly hooded and covered from head to toe. Without another word he moved over to the computer pulling out what looked like a USB flash drive. The man spotted Tony and smiled as he took a step closer to Pepper whilst pocketing the flash drive.

"It's good to finally meet you Mr.Stark," he spoke as Pepper took a step back only to feel her back pressed against the glass door that kept Tony and her separated. "I heard you weren't feeling too good?" he added before grinning as he stood right in front of the glass, facing Tony while Pepper stood a little to the side of them.

Tony was looking at the man "Step away from her, and what do you want," he coughed badly. He saw the usb. He was wary about the infomation that this man was taking.
He wanted Pepper safe. His head was hurting. He coughed up blood. He couldn't smash down the door when he was too weak. He seemed rather stressed.
"Who are you!" He wasn't going to give in.

Bruce looked at him "Sorry for what I'm about to do. I'll pay for repairs." He looked at Pepper. "Back away." He turned into the hulk and roared smashing down the door. He knew that was the only way. Tony rushed through the busted down door and nodded. He stepped infront of Pepper. He tried to activate his suit hoping that hadn't been hacked.

The man chuckled as he watched Tony pound the glass but it was useless. Pepper nodded to Bruce as she stepped back, but she couldn't hold back her scream when he broke down the glass. It shattered with ease and the man had backed away shaking his head at what was happening. Pepper had fallen down, finding it hard to breath with seeing Bruce in such a way. His body was huge to the extent that the his head had reached past the ceiling, his feet had sunken into the floor and she wasn't really sure if it could even hold his weight. Soon enough Tony was in front of her breathing hard as stood protectively still the man made no effort to even come closer.

"I don't really have time to play games right now. But I'll be sure to come back later to play," the mysterious man spoke before turning and running towards the broken window glass. "W-Wait! This is the twenty ninth floor!" Pepper shouted, but he was long gone. "Tony... he has your data," she exclaimed with shock. He looked weak though this stress wasn't doing him any good either.
