All it took was once harsh word and the Pokemon world as we knew it turned into total chaos. There was no way to stop what had been said. Pokemon nations turned their backs on each other, leaving those that were too weak to fend for themselves to be conquered by the stronger ones. The Legendaries abandoned their people when they were most needed, and the Pokemon have only room to spite them now.

Alas, despite all of this darkness and despair, a small island off of the mainland, known as Sakura Isle, was left untouched. Whether the war-driven countries believed it to be useless or they forgot about it completely, it is fine by the small time Pokemon there. Many Pokemon from the mainland have put their lives on the line in hopes of making it to the isle in order to start anew. Though the isle is untouched, other than by the Pokemon that fought in the Great War or happened to get there by chance, it is growing in population and there is no such thing as safety in numbers. The Queen of the Isle, Dani the Kangaskhan, has declared that all of the guilds throughout the isle gather and form a single bond. Of course, such a task is easier said than done, for there were many rivalries between the Pokemon guilds.

But now it is time to set aside their differences and unite under the single guild known as the Hope's Eyes. With special training and teamwork, they are to go to the mainland and put an end to the fighting and return the power to the Legendaries, for Dani knows that they would not abandon their people when they need them most.

I don't think that there should be a Dark/Electric plot twist. You can have it so that his parents were of those species, but he would have to choose to be one type or the other, most likely him being Dark since he's a a Poocheyena.

Former Guild / Occupation: Scythe was originally born on the mainland, in the endless struggle/war. He was in his own small guild, called 'Slash', but it was quickly disbanded due to personal feelings. He promptly escaped the mainland after that, escaping onto Sakura Isle. The peace is uncomfortable, due to him used to constant death, battle, and strife. His occupation now is a 'Hitman', 'Mercenary, and 'Assassin'. Despite Sakura Isle being peaceful, corruption exists everywhere, and some Pokémon just want to see others gone. That's where Scythe comes in.

Other: He has a long black scarf, which helps with dampening fire attacks. Other than that, his skin is an odd shade - not a shiny, but a darker green. He also has a few scars along his outer-shell, along with strange black markings - tattoos from his previous guild.

Fixed it, sorry I had to try to gun for that. I like playing the "Thing that shouldn't exist but we let slide so we have that one odd man out" type person

Haha, which is fine in certain cases, I just don't know how well other people would like to see that you're using Dark and Electric type moves so early on.

Meh, I think that would get a tad obnoxious. It's a nice idea, though.

You didn't have to add the nice idea part :P, but this is an honest question and this is probably just because of how I think of the word obnoxious, how is it obnoxious? I can understand OP, wouldn't happen, etc. but obnoxious is not one of the words I imagined hearing.

It's more of a mental thing. Obnoxious also means objectionable, so that's where it came from. Added the 'nice idea' part because people often see my messages as rude or mean if I don't add an emote or something, haha.

Ok, learned something new, and I didn't, but yeah I've had issues with people seeing somethings I say as mean or rude before so I get ya

On the mainland, Riolu was in one of the highest groups who fought in the war, The Dark Ones. The group excisted out of five members wich were all together qutie bonded, for they shared the same interest for how the world would need to look like.
After a long fight with the enemies, the group slowly started to lose their members bit by bit... The fighting never seemed to end and Riolu and his teammembers knew this would be their end...
Yet, their leader knew that if they wanted to keep the group alive, he would need to send the two remaining survivors away to Sakura Island, for there they would be able to grow even more and regain their unbeaten title back!
As Riolu and his other teammate made their run for the island, they were chased... Riolu eventually was the only remaining survivor of his group...

Other: Riolu knows how to bend and see auras, he also has a scar across his right eye.

I know that this may be a bit early, but I'm itching to start.

Of course, so long as it is in its first stage of evolution. ^_^ I'm just more comfortable with earlier games and Vulpix is my favorite.

That's fine with me, they could have fought along side each other or something :)
But remember, the guild Ghost {Riolu} was in, was the highest one, aldo it is now destroyed xD So he would probably be glad to see you then xD for then he knows that there is atleast one skilled fighter among them xD
