Cancer flailed his arms around after getting hit by the ball of water. "You could have woken me up! I faked my coma after the second week so I could skip class!"

His tone changed again as he drummed on the table with his fingers. "That's a really long time to be missing, especially for a high-level Wanderer like her. You aren't rejecting the idea that she's dead though, are you?"

Cancer put back the mouthpiece onto his helmet and leaned his head on his fist. "Don't be disappointed if you don't."

He stared into empty space for a few months, quiet. "We gonna do anything about it anytime soon? Been awhile since I've last stretched", he said, rotating his arm in a circular motion.

Carolyn edged her way closer to the kitchen, pausing right outside the door as the painful memory of her quarrel with Ivy re-enacted itself in her mind's eye. This was exactly where it had taken place. How long had it been? For all of the contempt she had previously held for Ivy, she now felt only sympathy. As the weeks had stretched by, the chances of her being dead were growing exponentially. Her departure from life would not have been made easy, either, considering the atavistic brutality of those mysterious terrorists.

"You shouldn't be in here." she said quietly, holding the door ajar.

She was a little surprised at how many of them were in the room but was in no mood for making their lives harder. She would not write them up with detentions, but perhaps she would have a word with Balthazar. The man ostensibly valued discipline and breaking Alvarez's rules in this manner was far from disciplined.

"Go back to your dorms, please."

Cancer was equally surprised to see Carolyn at the door, and jumped out of his seat. He quickly put his dishes away, cleaned up the kitchen as if no one was there in the first place, and placed the remains of his sandwich in a paper bag.

"NO USE RESISTING SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW BYE!", he said rather quickly, bolting out of the kitchen as fast as he possibly could while still dressed in the weird pale-blue man-dress the infirmary gives their patients.

"What the f......??" Jade shook her head and stood up, throwing her napkin away and walking towards the door. "I'll see y'all in the morning." She lazily waved and walked out, yawning as she made her way back to her room.

Carolyn shut the door behind them gently and leaned against it as she watched them leave, a small frown appearing on her face. It felt pointless to punish them as their little group was insistent on not learning any form of discipline. Not even the almighty Balthazar could stop them from breaking the rules.
She closed her eyes and searched for Balthazar's essence with her telepathy, eventually locating him in the gym.
"Professor," she projected in an uncertain tone, not sure whether or not Balthazar would appreciate the information or view her as a tattle-tale. "The students you've been training broke into the kitchen to have a midnight snack. Just letting you know in case discipline is a part of the training. If not, my bad, I'll deal with it."

Balthazar nods his head, annoyed that his slumber was interrupted to find out his pupils were caught having a midnight snack. He projects an image to all of his students, feeling their fear from the gym, he lets out a yawn and goes back to sleep.

Scenario 26???

Jade sat quietly, looking at her breakfast, poking it with her fork. She hardly stressed over anything, but for some reason, Balthazar's words made her heart drop and stomach churn. She leaned back into her seat and ran her hand through her hair as she thought of what was in store for them.

"BRRRRRRREEAKFAAAAAAST!", Cancer shouted as he plopped himself at the table with several trays of food. He was back in his normal, full regalia- jacket, boots, hardened armor and all. It felt good to be in something than that drafty infirmary dress.

"MORNIN'," he said as he waved at Jade enthusiastically.

Aphrodite hovers over lazily towards Marissa and Cancer, letting out a yawn and she falls into her seat with her food in front of her.

"Was anyone else able to sleep last night? I had nightmares of training, over and over again."

Kyo sauntered past the great oak doors of the main hall, feeling oddly relaxed as he flashed a captivating smile at any and all who made eye contact with him. Today was a good day. With a spring in his step, he sidled over to the counter and helped himself to a heaping stack of pancakes, fresh fruit and a fat slab of butter which started melting immediately.
He spun around on his heel and cast a glance around the hall, searching for any familiar faces.

Sighing, Jacob picked at his food and groaned. "I WAS sleeping halfway decently, but thanks to whatever shenanigans you kids got up to, I ended up with the stark reminder that Balthazar's beautiful face awaited me yet again. What was it this time?" Exasperated, Jacob went back to eating his food, the bags under his eyes more noticeable than ever before.

Jade rolled her eyes and grinned at Cancer, waving back at him lazily. "Morning sunshine." She stayed quiet as the others began to claim their seats, acknowledging them with a small nod. "Kyo??" Jade raised her hand and waived at him, smiling as she gestured for him to join them. "I wouldn't mind having a day off. My bed and I have been forming an amazing relationship.... I feel like we're going to be putting in a lot of work today."

"Balthazar? Who's that?", Cancer asked between mouthfuls.

Noticing Jade who noticed Kyo, he put his hand near his mouth and yelled (in a friendly tone of voice, not a threatening one, mind you). "HEYA BUDDY! OVER HERE!"

For some reason, today was a good day for Cancer. Not so sure about everyone near him, though. Seriously, who's Balthazar?

Kyo acknowledged Jade and Cancer with a smile before heading over, glad to see a couple of familiar faces that he had not gazed upon in a long time. He took a seat next to Cancer and glanced at Jacob for a fraction of a second, wondering how much had changed since he'd last spent any significant amount of time with his old group of friends. He had been under the impression that Jacob was not exactly popular, but here he was having breakfast with the loony one and the grumpy one.
"Hey!" he said brightly, grinning at the trio. "Long time, huh?"

Dark approaches the group, drenched in sweat and panting, hardly able to keep a grip on his plate of food and beverage as he hastily takes a seat.

"He....started early with me." says Dark as he takes a big gulp of his drink before letting out a satisfying sigh.

Aphrodite fully awake now looking at the fatigued Dark. "Balthazar did this?"

Dark nods, as he takes a bite out of his meal.
