"Meet us back here in then, grab whatever you need the journey won't be short."
Nero watched Bowman walk off wondering if he was ever really going to see the man again, so much could happen in a couple moments that was very true about this new world. Nero looked at Nadia silently and then over to a nearby building which he had cleared out a short while before. Walking Nero lead her to the building and walked inside, it was empty for the most part, and old shoe store once upon a time, but it was concealed from the front and a good looking spot for when Bowman would return. Grabbing a tipped over shoe bench Nero flipped it over effortlessly, and then he got another one and set it up for himself so they could sit for a minute while they waited. Looking up Nero caught Nadia's eye's, she was frightened to the point of shaking, perhaps Nero could try his hand at calming her although he had not tried such a thing with someone young in 4 years.
"Nadia its obvious your frightened, but as hard as this is to believe one day your fear will leave you, I know it seems pretty pointless and in some degrees it is... you will adjust to how things have become. When this first started none of us were much better off then you are now, trying to make sense of something that you had no way of making sense of. I knew what it was like to feel lost, I was there too four years ago, but I guess I found my way, even if it was hard to bare for so long, my mom back when I was kid in Italy always told me that there is always a reason for us being alive even if its in a desperate and horrible world. So I believe there is a reason im still here, and there is a reason for you too. I don't know if it brings your any kind of closure or peace of mind, but if there is one thing you should understand its that were all here to do what we have to do and to do that we gotta grow past our fear."
Nero didn't really know if anything he said helped, it was hard to try and help someone make sense of this hellish world they now lived in. But Nero knew if he couldn't break through to her now then she was surely die, hell if not by her own hand. He had seen so many take their lives because they couldn't adjust to this new world. He knew it well, the state of mind because he too had thought those thoughts.
