The Doctor was looking around. It was the year 2040 and he knew that something interesting would be going on. He though didn't expect there to be much going on in a movie studio but movies. But he had picked up some signal in the area, but maybe it wasn't in the movie studio. He seemed to be thinking and looked to his companion.
"Ah 2040 , movies have come along way since they were first created." he said aloud. He was grinning. Surely even if there was nothing strange going on here, visiting a movie studio could be fun.



Running a hand through his brown hair, he looked at them "Allons-y!" he said, he was clearly ready to go. Not expecting what he would find once they explored the movie studio. "Don't know what that signal was we picked up yet, might not be too do with the studio, But still be fun to look around no?" he said.
He was clearly happy to be traveling around with somebody and showing them exciting things. Traveling with the Doctor was never boring. It was always thrilling and exciting. The Doctor always found it more thrilling when he wasn't alone. Also the more dangerous something was, the more he seemed to love it.

He walked , but made sure that his companion was following him, he didn't want to leave them behind. He was still wondering about the signal but for now he was content in enjoying looking around a futuristic movie studio. He was sure that his companion would be as well. "Just stay close to me, I don't want you getting lost." He replied. He had been worried about things happening to his companions after all the things had happened in the past.
He had been through enough in the past, without having to have anything happen to another friend. The Doctor knew sometimes he was probably worrying too much, it was just hard not to, he wondered where all the actors and movie crew would be, he assumed maybe they were shooting a scene or working on the film in some way.

Anna stepped from the TARDIS, a light wind picking up her dark hair and pulling it away from her colourful skin. "Doctor?" She called, following after him as he walked away towards the buildings. "What is this place?" She asked as she caught up, her eyes flickering around to take in the surrounding scenery. There was a bustle of activity and voices filled the air. Although everything was new to her, she could understand every word being spoken. It was strange really, but the TARDIS must have been translating again. She smiled, catching a few words before everything fell quiet. Something must have been happening. Peeking in through an open door, she found that people seemed to be huddled around three people who spoke and acted as if they were in a play. The others pushed around large, black machines.

That must have been where the Doctor had taken her. Some kind of theatre. She wasn't sure what the machines were, nor why they were being manoeuvred in such a way but she was excited to find out. Her home planet was not quite as advanced as the others they had been to. They had no machines and certainly nothing like the TARDIS. Everything amazed her to no end and she had a sneaking suspicion that that was something the Doctor liked. She stuck close to his side, resisting the urge to wander and explore this new world they had landed on. "And what's a movie?" She asked, looking up at him with curious eyes. He had such knowledge in his head. It was a wonder how he remembered it all.

The Doctor was looking at her with a grin "Ah its a movie studio by the way, where they make the movies" he explained. He knew that she wouldn't know what this place was. Everything was human technology here. Though so far anyways. He was keeping alert. The Doctor knew even if things were normal in the studio that he would need to keep alert.

"Movies are human entertainment, Mmm moving pictures on a screen, that tell a story, can hear the characters speaking of course, mind you didn't start out that way until technology got better." He explained. He tried to explain movies the best he could "Maybe I can take you too one after we find out what the problem is," He was smiling and looking at his companion. He knew all of this would be new and interesting to her.

He could hear some people speaking out back, He wondered what they were saying. He wanted to find out, it sounded suspicious though.
Maybe the problem could be here after all he thought. He did start to get a feeling something was going on. He grinned a bit. He was still excited.

Annakryne just tried her best to understand what he had said, nodding her head and trying to make sense of it all. "I would love to see this... Movie you speak of." She replied, her lips widening in a bright smile. The idea of discovering something new was already sparking excitement in her chest. It always did. With the Doctor, she discovered something new with every turn. She found something extraordinary with every step she took and that was exhilarating. The TARDIS had taken her breath away and this new planet was stealing it too. She couldn't believe the sky here was such a lovely shade of blue. It was so different from her home planet, where the sky was always a pale lilac. It was never as vibrant as the sky here was.

"What do you think is here?" She asked, sounding a little more excited than she should have been to get into yet another adventure. Adventure with the Doctor almost always involved an awful lot of running. The feeling of running on foreign ground with a different gravity field was something new every time and it sent shivers down her spine. Running here might be a little easier. She felt lighter on this planet than at home. Nevertheless, it excited her.

The Doctor smiled "Ah I would love to take you to one." He was in a good mood. He was looking around. There had to be something going on here. He pulled out his sonic and used it to scan around for alien technology. He knew that something was going on and he wanted to get to the bottom of it. What ever it was. He was picking up something with his sonic screwdriver and began walking further in. He wasn't scared and wanted to find out what was being talked about as well.

"I don't know, But something is very wrong." The Doctor replied. "Just stay close and be alert." He was continuing to scan around where he was. He stopped when he heard voices behind the doors.
He was listening carefully, he figured something was indeed going on in there. He told her to be quiet for awhile while he listened. He was making sure they weren't discovered while he did so.

"What do now the humans are dealt with ?" one asked. "How much longer do we have to carry on this act!"

"We wait, we wait for the Time Lord to come, and when he does then we kill him." another growled.

Anna did as she was told. She didn't want to be left behind after all. A foreign planet that was possibly even hostile. It was bound to be dangerous if the Doctor had been drawn there. Whether consciously or not, he had a knack for attacking danger. It was only confirmed by the conversation they overheard. Her lips pulled back in a snarl, revealing long canine teeth. These beings had done something to attract the Doctor and it had worked. Luckily, the Time Lord himself hadn't been spotted yet.

"Doctor?" She whispered, looking up at the taller man. "What are they? And why do they want to kill you?" She asked, expecting an answer. He always had an answer for her questions in that clever head of his. The voices faded with the sound of footsteps and Anna relaxed a little. She took a deep breath, looking around to check that they hadn't been spotted.

The Doctor was keeping alert, he didn't like the fact that these creatures were after him, why was the question though. What did they want with him? He knew he would have to be careful. He also wondered where the humans were. He looked around hearing something. He knew that something had spotted them.
"Look out," He warned his companion. He didn't want her harmed. He felt a laser blaster hit him in shoulder. He gasped, It really did hurt. But he knew that he had to stay.

"I don't know why they want me and I haven't seen that species before." He was gasping and holding his shoulder "Run!!!" He said. He began running as the creatures chased them.
He felt sore from where he had been shot but he kept running.
The Doctor was running and he panted a bit, he looked to see how she was doing.

Anna quickly braced herself but found she didn't need to. She gasped, watching as the laser hit him in the shoulder. Anger quickly boiled in her chest but she would have time for revenge later. She broke into a run at his order, keeping pace with him and looking over her shoulder. She dodged laser after laser, hissing angrily at the shooters. Looking back at the Doctor, she was alarmed to see that he was already tiring. It hadn't been that long and normally, she would grow tired far before he did. "Doctor? We need to get somewhere safe and look at that shoulder." Her lips twisted into a scowl and she began looking around for somewhere they could hide.

The creatures were gaining on them, though. Their screeches were filling the air and calling others to their side. With the Doctor injured and slowing down, they didn't stand a chance. "Doctor? What do we do?" She asked, panicking as she saw more and more of the creatures appearing from buildings and rooftops. They were being surrounded and were running out of places to run. She turned a corner quickly, pulling him after her. There was an exit there. The creatures hadn't closed around them completely yet.

The Doctor was running "I'm fine, but getting away from the danger is wise for now." He seemed to brush aside the fact that he had been injured. It was hurting him, he knew that he needed to check it out, He was sure it was nothing or he would be wanting to regenerate, The Doctor didn't feel the need to regenerate though.
His hearts were beating rapidly as he ran, he could tell the creatures were still chasing after him. The Doctor couldn't help but enjoy the danger, he seemed to love the chaos.

He stood panting after awhile, he uses his sonic to open the door at the exit, He needed to lay down or at least take a break for a moment, he dashed through the door with her and closed the door behind them once she had gone through.
He seemed out of breath now as well.
"Need to .........lay down," he knew he couldn't force himself too much.

Anna looked over her shoulder before darting through the door quickly. She locked the door, pulling things in front of it to stop them opening it. She took his hand, leading him away from the door and towards where she remembered he’d left the TARDIS. “You need rest and medical attention.” She said quietly, frowning. “That blast looked bad.” It was more advanced than anything Annakryne had ever seen in her life and she disliked it greatly.

The Nynx led him through the door, pushing (even though the door said pull) it open and quickly shutting it behind her. The golden glow of the TARDIS’s control room relaxed her. It was safe in here. “Come on, Doctor. Let me see it.” She didn’t know if she could help but she could certainly try. She only hoped she didn’t make it any worse than it already was with her less advanced salves and medicines.

The Doctor walked into the TARDIS and looked at her "There is a medbay," he started, He takes off his coat and takes off one of his shirts so she can see his shoulder better, it looked rather badly hurt and he was bleeding. The Doctor winced knowing that he would be fine even if it hurt. He wondered what those aliens wanted though.
At least he was safe inside his ship, he looked rather pale and like he needed to lay down for bit. He was sure he would be fine once his should was seen to and he got some rest.

"After all that though, we have to find where they have taken the real movie crew and try stop those aliens." The Doctor replied. He just let her see to his wounded shoulder "There will be things to help my shoulder in the med bay." he replied. He had never wanted lay down during a adventure that often, but he did right now because he was hurting.
Feeling dizzy he grabbed a bottle of water from his chair by the console and drinks it.

Anna nodded, leading him to one of the beds in the medbay. She looked around, feeling a little lost in the maze of advanced technology. She wouldn’t have half a chance to work any of it at all. From the looks of his wound, it would need a little cooling and something to close it up. And then bandages, of course. She found the gauze but as for everything else… She was lost. Nibbling softly on her lip, she turned to him. “I’ll be back in just a moment!”

And with that, she rushed from the room and back to where she had been spending her nights in the TARDIS. Her medi-pack was in there, with all her little salves and herbal medicines. Returning quickly, she pulled out a small bottle of light blue gel and motioned for him to sit down. “Sorry I can’t use any of the things in here. But this should help with it.” She spread the gel over the wound, her fingers tingling slightly from the salve. “It should numb it and cool it a little.” Then she reached for the bandages, wrapping his shoulder securely. “Try not to push yourself too hard.”

The Doctor went and sat down on a bed. He looked at her as she looked around for things. He was a bit sore from his injury and tired, but he was sure he would feel better soon enough. The Time lord just obeyed though he found it hard to sit there while she tended to his wounded shoulder. He knew they still had a situation that needed dealing with.
The Doctor hated it when he was injured as he knew that his companions always told him to take it easy.

He winced when she put the gel on his wound, he closed his eyes, but he soon felt it sooth when the gel did its job. "Well we still have creatures to stop and a movie crew to find." He yawned a bit. "Though since we are safe in here, I might get a bit of rest before all that." he let her bandage his shoulder and then he yawned more and lay down. Not caring if he didn't get to his own room.
He was just too tired.
