Tony wasnt sure if she would be alright or not. He didn't want to take any chances. He groaned in pain and closed his eyes. He wasn't sure when this would end. Even when he got well he would need to deal with the man who broke in.
The man sighed deeply.

Thor was watching them. He knew they needed to get the element out as soon as possible. "It will be over soon my friend." He knew they would have to make sure they dealt properly with the element.
Bruce walked in once they had the element.
"MMmm its fine as it is." THor commeneted.
Tony was waiting and wanted this over. He coughed weakly and closed his eyes more.

Jane nodded as she moved over to Tony, opening the lid she took small bits of gold that had been melted into a pellets. “What do I do exactly?” she asked softly as Pepper watched. “Place it over his body? Put some in his hands? It might be able to absorb it through the skin,” Pepper advised as the woman nodded in reply. Doing as she was told she played a few in his hands, though it only took seconds for the gold pellets to change color as it turned black. “Goodness… that must be serious, the color of the pellets changed so quickly,” she mentioned to Pepper.

Pepper was struggling to pay attention; she needed painkillers but was too tired and in pain. “How are you feeling Tony?” she whispered softly as made an effort to stand to move over to Tony’s bed. He was in pain still and was sweating a bit.

Tony was looking at her. "Pepper you should get some medicine and lay down." He was worried about her. He yelled in pain as the elements energy came out of him. It just hurt and was rough on his body.
He closed his eyes.
After it was all gone he just seemed tired and still a bit ill. He would probably be weak. But he didn't seem in pain and like he was suffering. He would be able to recover now and was hoping to feel better soon.

Bruce looked at Pepper and passes her medicine and bandages. He bandaged up her wound "Here " He had given her some painkillers to take. Thor was looking at Pepper "He should get better now, it may take a couple of days, but he'll be fine and he wont get angry now."

Pepper nodded, “I will,” she mumbled before taking his other hand and giving it a squeeze. She watched him hoping that it was helping, though hearing him scream out in pain made her feel like it wasn’t. taking a deep breath she tried to calm herself. She eventually let him go so that Bruce could tend to her wounds. She cringed at the feel of the bandage wrapping around her wound as she tried her best not to groan. It hurt and she was beyond thankful to see pills being offered.

Popping them into her mouth she swallowed them dry before standing up. “I’m sorry but could you stay and watch over him?” she asked Bruce softly knowing that she couldn’t stay and watch over him. “I really need to lie down,” she admitted sounding a little sadden that she wouldn’t be able to watch over Tony. She was weak and honestly the pain was only escalating, thankfully the pills would kick in soon.

Tony was looking at her "Its ok Pepper just go rest." he was more worried about her than himself. He closed his eyes weakly. He seemed less miserable. He knew he needed to stay in bed to recover, He just didn't want to.
"PLease be ok Pepper."
He seemed more relaxed now the elements energy was no longer inside him.

Bruce was looking at her "I will make sure he is ok." he replied.He knew that he couldn't let Tony out of bed just yet. He though went to find Tony some soup. He knew he should get Tony to eat so something.
"You should eat something Tony." He replied.
Tony just gave a faint nod and looked at him.

Pepper smiled at Bruce, quietly thanking him before turning her gaze over to Tony. He sounded weak but seeing him now made her relax a little. She hoped that he would get some rest and feel a lot better later because they had a lot on their plate. The building was in need of repairs especially JARVIS since his system was cracked, then Pepper needed to handle the press along with work which honestly was too tiring to even think about. Jane watched Pepper leave before she turned to Tony, “We’ve got to go, but we’ll check in. We’ll also keep this from SHIELD,” she mumbled. Jane was keen on finding out more information so that they could understand the foreign element better. Hopefully Tony was fine now since she was a little fearful about learning more about the element. Saying goodbye she and Thor left.

Pepper had got herself to a spare guest room, she didn’t bother with anything else as she trudged to the bed and flopped down, having no energy to even get under the covers. She needed a few hours of rest, just a few before she returned back to work.
