Yup! I'm officially bringing this back. Hopefully we get enough Rpers interested this time. Already have one spot reserved (potentially two) and looking for about 2-3 more.

It seems fun :3. Though I am still fairly new to roleplayers guild. I joined two rps before, but around post 30 for each they died as no one else posted. Partially due to a week where the site was basically down.

Yeah. I haven't personally experienced it on here yet, but that is the same problem I've encountered on other sites.

Personality:
When it comes to her strengths Victoria prefers to think of them as her instinct and perception. This creates a somewhat teasing personality who doesn't care that much for being ordered by those who don't deserve respect or those who insult her. However, once she is friends with someone she cares for them very much even if she acts like a loner to start. Her weaknesses are found in her more direct manner of dealing with things. If it's an engineering component broken she would hit it with her boot rather than grab a wrench as she knows she wouldn't know where to fix the bolt anyway. She doesn't get along with technology very well and it is why she prefers a bullet and trigger at times. This doesn't mean she won't be far to rash and break everything around she doesn't get. Just that if left to her own devices to fix an engine she would likely cause more damage.

Character History:
Victoria was a street rat from a planet covered in industry. Pollution usually got it's citizens by the age of thirty and the government didn't regulate it as they knew the output from the planet was to great to slow if they wished to continue their growth. Victoria was in the slums with her father who raise her alone after her mother died during child birth. When she was ten her father knew she needed to leave. He couldn't watch her become weak and sick as he had become. So she was smuggled onto a leaving transport with him. She didn't know where her father meant to lead them, but she simply trusted him. At this time she was a quiet shy girl do to being bullied and the violence that occurred on the planet. This ship came across a stellar disaster when high speed space junk happened to get past the defense system. It was unpredicted as they were in the middle of nowhere space being struck.

Victoria was alone on the escape pod that saved her life as her father hadn't made it in on time. She watched him grow smaller through the glass before the ship blew. For two days she was stuck before the beacon was taken in my a ULSS ship. They saved her, but because of the mission they had she was on board for a good month before they landed. She met a man who decided to take care of her for a while and she was inspired to join the military. There she would have food, and she would have a reason to walk forward. Through her training she became more blunt, teasing, and quick witted. Eventually her skills and reputation grew great enough that she would be on the newest ship for security, but before that she fought in conflicts and lost several friends. Leaving her a little less willing to get close to many people. At the same time she also became quite the performer. Starting off by singing and playing for music nights on a ship to taking a few gigs when she was off duty for a month or so when the ship was in for upgrades or repairs.

So now she was placed on the ship for these two reasons. Even if her skill was known she wasn't placed to far up the ranks as her other duty was to entertain. Leaving her part time in both positions for her to not be unable to sleep. It was enjoyable though. The worst thing about herself in her opinion was her inability to stay in one place. She couldn't stand being on one planet or system for over a few weeks as her exploring urge took hold. She called it artistic will as relaying experiences help with performance, but it was also a fight itch. new places meant new opponents after all. This was her dream job in a sense, and even if she didn't act like it she was happy to be on board.

Equipment:

This species is a less common pet, but still known to be tamed on a few planets. After having bought him from a store Victoria named him Calico. Calico's species are exceedingly loyal once tamed and sees through infrared. His saliva is acidic, however they don't salivate unless threatened. He enjoys his chest being petted alongside his scaly back. Luckily his body doesn't leave waste as he survives of surrounding heat. He can air condition a room for you, but cannot go out on ice planets without some kind of heated cage to be in. However, the heat he can survive through is over 2000 degrees.

For what it's worth, dnd, I didn't use a picture for mine - I would've gone crazy trying to find something that matched the image in my head. So you shouldn't feel constrained to one race just 'cause you can't find a picture. c:

Added a basic timeline on top of the roster. Will also look to add on key NPCs and basic info of the ship throughout the week.

Also, Barry is right dnd. Looking for the right picture may take longer than writing up the actual bio itself (well for me it did lol), so a simple description will do if that makes things easier. I initially didn't want to include humans in the beginning, but if that's what you prefer, I'm okay with it :)

Now I just need to think up a history and birth quadrant. Then again I am not sure how well Security and Entertainer goes so I may switch to engineer and fix up the personality.
Does Navigation mean piloting the ship or directing with the captain of where to go and how to avoid say black holes.

Essentially both. If you're the navi officer, you'll be on the bridge as you say with the ship's captain, and have the option to also be piloting the shuttle vessel when our team is deployed to survey planets/space stations/capital class vessels/etc.

What do you think of as entertainer? I mean entertainer can be a lot of things after all. Or to put it better: What do you want out of entertainer? Like a singer or what?

I made that broad so whoever wants to pick it can be creative. Can be a singer, musician, etc. You can also be the lead director of entertainment, meaning you coordinate the extra activities that goes on on the ship. Heck you can be all of those things if you'd like. I don't have a specific preference really.

Alright. Just wanted to ask before I make one. I guess I will go Navigation Entertainer as I don't picture a security guard also being an entertainer ya know?

That would actually be hilarious! Imagine Victoria playing away on an instrument when something dodgy goes on in the audience, forcing her to apprehend a drunk crewmen mid performance Haha. Either path u decide to take sounds good to me. Also, if there's another secondary not listed that you have in mind, feel free to put that on instead as long as it in some way caters to the ship and/or crewmembers. Whatever makes it fun for you.
