Name: Arthur Greystoke

Age: 31

Gender: Male

Race: Human

Random descriptors: 6'4", 220 pounds, dirty blonde hair (cut short), grey-blue eyes, fit, well-muscled physique.

Character Tier: Intermediate (without armor), high (with armor).

Character Type: Critical Character- Active Multiverse Participant.

Physical Description:
When out of his armor, Arty tends to wear clothing that befits someone of his financial station. Tailored suits are a staple of his fashion choices as much as fast cars, pretty girls, and Rolex watches are the things he accessorizes with.

Skills, powers and abilities:

Enhanced Durability (intermediate):
Arty's primary ability is the generation and manipulation of bio-electric fields both in and around his body. Originating from his bones, these fields extend through his muscles and skin, generating intense amounts of van der waals force as they do, which in turn greatly increases the bonding force between his molecules and therefore his durability. This durability renders his bones functionally ten times as hard as diamond and increases the durability of his soft tissue in proportion to how close it is to his bones. This means that while he can catch a 9mm bullet in his hand, that same bullet would pierce the skin and lodge itself in the muscle if it were to hit his chest (also, edged weapons that rely on slicing will do more damage than blunt weapons and bullets that rely on impact force). He is likewise reinforced against intense heat and cold, due to his molecular motion being much more resistant to changes in vibrational speed. He can withstand temperatures of 1,000 Celsius on the positive side, and -200 Celsius on the negative side with no apparent harm. He is also entirely immune to the harmful effects of electricity and never gets tired or requires sleep, food, or water (he doesn't fully realize this though and still eats and drinks), and should he be deprived of oxygen for an extended period his body will enter a catatonic state, during which time he is sustained solely by his power and will re-awaken once oxygen again becomes available.

Enhanced Regeneration (intermediate):
Despite his resistance to it, Arty is far from immune to physical damage and in the event he is wounded, his body will harness the bio-electric energy coursing through him in order to repair itself much more rapidly than any normal human. Small cuts heal in seconds and high-caliber bullet wounds in mere minutes, while severe extensive trauma may take hours to heal. With uninterrupted focus, Arty can consciously enhance the speed of this ability, allowing him to heal even faster when not otherwise engaged.

Enhanced Nervous System (Intermediate):
Perhaps the most versatile function of his power is the near-absolute control it grants him over his own nervous system. Not only can he deaden nerves to blunt pain and ignore injury (barring those that actually prohibit a body part from functioning at all), and manipulate his ability to appear completely human on any type of scanner, but it is also nearly impossible to knock him unconscious via sensory overload. Additionally, his nervous system functions at a baseline level that is 10 times faster than that of a normal human in peak condition, and in times of stress such as combat that number can as much as triple. This ability also grants him greatly enhanced sensory perception, allowing him to see several miles with perfect clarity and in near-total darkness, hear a human heart beat 20 meters away, feel the individual threads in silk, and detect scents that would elude a bloodhound. His power also grants him a sixth sense that is unavailable to normal humans, and that is the ability to sense both matter and electrical energy in his vicinity. This sense allows him to accurately determine the position and velocity of any object within 10 meters of himself, as well as sense electrical energy out to a distance of 100 meters, while beyond that distance his ability to sense current begins to dwindle until it is completely gone at a distance of roughly 200 meters. The level of current that constantly runs through Arty himself also makes him exceedingly resistant to psychic abilities, and has a tendency to disrupt other touch-based powers.

Enhanced Condition (intermediate):
While not as drastic as the enhancements to his nervous system, Arty's power also provides an increase in the performance of his musculature and other organs. While this performance increase does not grant him truly superhuman strength, it does allow every muscle and organ in his body to function at the peak of human potential, thus providing him with exceptional might, speed, balance, and agility that allows him to perform physical feats that some would assume to be on a superhuman level. By focusing his bio-electric energy into his own muscles, rather than emitting it as energy bursts or generating elaborate cohesion fields, he is also capable of enhancing his strength by up to a factor of 10, allowing him to lift 5 tons above his head when fully focused on enhancing his physique. When in this state, Arty also gains a slight speed boost due to the increase in his strength-to-mass ratio, but loses his ability to fire bio-electric bolts and can only utilize his cohesion fields to bind to or enhance solid objects.

Electrocution (intermediate):
The primary offensive function of Arty's power, this technique allows him to charge up his hands (or in rare cases, feet) and then discharge his bio-electric energy into another being for the purposes of causing pain, paralysis, unconsciousness, and even death. These bio-electric discharges have an effective range of roughly 100 meters, and a maximum range roughly twice that. When charged and fired in a single burst, they can generate up to 3,000 degrees of heat (Celsius) in addition to the electrical charge they carry due to the ionization of the air they pass through. A single un-charged bolt is capable of outright killing a human, leaving burn marks and smoke rising from their remains, but the output of these bolts can also be varied in order to inflict non-lethal damage such as unconsciousness, paralysis, muscle spasms, or simple pain. When fired as a maintained attack, the temperature of the bio-electric bolts rarely rises above 1,000 degrees Celsius, as doing so would begin to cause harm to Arty himself if maintained for extended periods (in the form of burns on the fingers and hands). When physical contact is made with the target, these electrocution abilities double in potency.

Cohesion Fields (intermediate):
By projecting his bio-electric energy into other objects, Arty is capable reinforcing them with van der waals force in much the same way as his own body, increasing an item's durability by a factor of 100. This can also be used to increase the effectiveness of bladed weapons, projecting an edge that is the width of a single molecule. In conductive weapons, he can extend this ability from simple molecular reinforcement to the transmission of actual electricity through the weapon, granting him the ability to electrocute targets for the purposes of stunning, paralyzing, or outright killing them. Furthermore, by projecting his bio-electric aura into the surfaces, items, and beings he touches, Arty can create an incredibly strong application of van der waals force that will effectively anchor him to any surface. The strength of this anchoring varies, but has a maximum clinging force of roughly 10 tons. The most offensively potent use of this ability comes in the form of cohesion fields created in the air itself, shaped elaborately to form weapons and defenses, then filled with ionized air to become superheated (generally in a range between 1,000 and 3,000 Celsius), increasing their effectiveness even further. These cohesion fields can extend up to 10 meters away from Arty himself, but must always originate from his own body. When used to simply "grip" the air itself, Arty can use these fields to pull himself through it, achieving speeds unheard of even for someone as physically adept as himself, attaining up to 500 kph in short bursts, and a steady pace of 100 kph over long distances. If he also anchors himself to the ground while using cohesion fields to force air around his body, he can generate intense winds that can equal his movement speed in power.

Character Equipment:

Weapons:
Two daggers with nine inch dual-edged blades.
Two gauntlets with twelve inch dual-edged blades that extend over the back of the hand.

(Note: All four weapons are specially crafted to be in tune with his bio-electric field, making them virtually unbreakable when in his immediate proximity.)

Well I'm going to be entering The Nameless Undead Overlord. Last time I used him I was totally unable to have him fight anybody.

Because the RP died.

Character name: Well, here's the thing. He really doesn't know, and he can't settle on a name for himself. Call him whatever you like, as long as he's looking at you he'll know you're referring to him.

Aliases and/or titles: Nameless Undead Warlord, Undead Overlord, Warlord of Rot, The Grey Nasty.

Age: Somewhere upwards of 500, he's been undead for 483 years, but was alive for X-number of years prior. He assumes somewhere around 20-30.
Height: 7'7"
Weight: 170lbs
Description: A corpse in a suit of armor with a bigass sword, not much else to say. The sword itself is constantly pouring energy into his body, from the small crystal in the base of the blade comes a thick grey magick energy source. This feeds into his body and encases his skeleton in a grey fog. It smells disgusting.

Powers:
+Undeath: Simple enough, if he is not killed he cannot die.
+Unbound Strength: Without the limitations of the mortal form his strength is pretty remarkable, for a corpse. Can lift around 2000 lbs with some effort. Which is good, his sword weighs more than he does at 210lbs.
+Above Average Human Speed: As time has gone by he's come up with ways to make his armor clad behind run faster, which is good, because it makes him harder to hit. At top speed he runs at 28mph. Only a little faster than the world record running speed for humans.
+Lacking Organs: This may come as a surprise, but without these organs he has a few advantages. Without a stomach, he doesn't need to eat. Without a heart, he can't bleed out. Without hormone glands he doesn't produce exhaustive acids that make him tired..
+Mysticisms Aplenty:
-Complex Fire Magic:
Basic Fireballs to Complex Firestorms, these burn at varying temperatures and vary in dispersal and force. (1210 - 2400 Degrees Fahrenheit depending on charge.)
Fireballs - Firesurges: I don't have to explain fireballs, do I? Surges have wide casting areas but are flat and blade like. Does not cut.
Firewalls - Firestorms: Walls are protective and push directly in front of him. Firestorms rain down from above and burn a 10x10 area.

-Complex Swamp Magic:
Swamp Gas: With a wave of his hand or sword he unleashes a wide area of foul smelling gas into the battlefield. It is not caustic, poisonous, or even deadly. It just really stinks. Can be ignited by fire and high temperatures.
Mud Hands: If he is standing on slightly moist ground this can activate, by jabbing his sword into the ground he can cause hands made of mud to grab the ankles of his foes to slow them down.
Mud Shot: Same with before, if he's on wet ground he can raise blocks of mud upwards and fire them like missiles.

-Weak Storm Magic:
Basic Wind Blasts: From the palm of his hand he can generate winds strong enough to knock a mortal man off his feet. Can also be used to block oncoming blades. When cast from the sword it will send out a wall of wind that can knock down multiple men.
Basic Electrical Discharges: If he grapples with you he can discharge a weak electrical surge, not strong enough to stop a human's heart but strong enough to cause pain and muscle spasms.
Water Ensnare: When a sufficient source of water is nearby he can use water like an extension of his body, a single tendril of water extends from his hand and wraps around the head of his opponent. If it remains unbroken it will drown the foe.

-Complex Soul Magic:
Basic Soul Blasts to Complex Soul Destroyers, these are more spear shaped and cause phyical and spiritual pain. They explode like sugar glass on contact, does not blow up like conventional explosives.
Soul Blasts: Blasts launch a foot long needle of grey soul energy towards the opponent. Can penetrate human flesh, breaks on bone.
Soul Destroyer: A twelve foot long spear of grey soul energy launches at the target, blasts apart three feet away from target. Turning into a shotgun blast of foot long needles.

-Weak Earth Magic:-
Rumble the Ground: A weak but very effective tool, he jabs the blade into the ground and it glows a bright grey. Then the grey glow blasts into the ground, shaking it like a small earthquake. Disorienting foes and knocking over normal humans who are unprepared for the assault. If you've got your feet firmly planted it's not really a problem.

-Enchantments:
This is just worth mentioning, as his sword is enchanted. Like a lot. There are fifteen enchantments of unbreaking upon the sword, two enchantments of never-dulling, and five enchantments of sharpness. This makes the blade fifteen times harder than it was when it was first forged and five times sharper than it was when it was first forged. It does not grow dull, ever.

The final, and most important enchantment, is a series of dispersal magics. This is how Grey Nasty competes with the strongest of foes, underneath equipment is where I will explain this.

Abilities:
+Skilled Swordsman: He's become very skilled at what he does, which is killing. A lot of it. At the forefront of his assault is the blade Grey Putresence, the soul bearing sword he created himself. He's able to swing it with ease, despite its great heft.

Equipment:
Grey Putresence:
The near unbreakable blade wielded by this nameless overlord. It comprises of two tiers of blade. The first of which is closest to the hilt and is five feet long and nine inches wide. The second of the tiers is three feet long and six inches wide. The hilt itself is two handed and measures out to a foot long. It is a simple sword with a crystal rammed through the bottom of it. This is his source, his phylactery. The phylactery is the only part of this blade that is not indestructable, as hard as marble it is his greatest weakness. If it is destroyed, he will die with it.

Though the Overlord himself is unable to compete with stronger opponents, the dispersal spells on his blade allow him to fight great enemies with ease. Grey Putrescence does not transfer force to the weilder and works as the universe's most effective shield. Foes that are a hundred times as strong as the Overlord could strike this blade and he would stand his ground without injury.

The Overlord's Armor:
A heavy suit of iron armor, weighing in at 400 lbs, it would weigh down any normal man. But the Overlord is no normal man! The Overlord is superhuman and he travels in this hefty armor with ease. It is a few inches thick and covers his entire body, aside from his face. The Overlord's rotting face can be seen through the opening in the front. The chestplate has small sharp spikes on it in case of grappling. There is nothing remarkable about the armor itself

Weaknesses:
+If seperated from his sword for too long, he will die. His soul is inside of that thing, so take the soul from the body and you have an issue.
+As a zombie, destroying his brain will still kill him. As a lich however, his consciousness goes into his sword. If the blade is left in his hand he will reconstruct himself.
+Like most undead, light and fire based magicks are his bane. Quite literally, these will decimate him if they strike him.
+While clever and decietful, he's a bit slow on the uptake at times. If you get lucky a simple trick will distract him. (Hey! Look over there!)
+THE SWORD CAN BE BROKEN! But it's more durable than wurtzite boron nitride. If you can snap it in half, he will straight up die.
+Can't see to his left or right, at all. Poor helmet design, and he still hasn't figured that out.
+Prone to fits of blind frustration, if you mock him. During a period when he's insighted to being mad at you, he doesn't fight using any sort of skill, he just slashes and grabs at you. A drop in skill means a drop in difficulty.
+Any character that can see energy will immediately be drawn to him, his body is a massive source of energy so great that it can be seen from a hundred miles away.
+Spells are slightly hard to control when you're lugging around a massive sword. The more he fires them off, the less accurate they are.

Personality:
+With a wit like that of Winston Churchill he'll banter with you all day long and never run out of things to say. He does love a good bantering.
+After a few couple hundred years he decided to say 'Fuck it!' with being a mature and brooding monster. Now he giggles like a child if you get kicked in the bits. Especially if he's the one doing the kicking.
+In battle he takes it serious, yes, but makes a joke out of it at every chance.
+Easily frustrated and mocked, this should really go under the second one. But it's so obvious that it can be counted as a personality trait.

History: He died.

What?

Oh, right, you want the rest. After he died a swamp shaman raised him from the grave, now, he doesn't remember his name. Nor does he remember why he died. So now he's just a living dead man with no purpose beyond making life for everyone else a living hell. Shortly after being raised from the grave he killed the man who resurrected him, again, no real reason behind it. Undeath kinda makes you do things you wouldn't normally do while you're living, it's a side effect of the rot. I think. Anyway, after killing his creator he decided to learn the same arts. "How?" You ask. Well, let me tell you something.

Swamp Shamans are a dime a dozen in some parts of the world, and there was an entire coven of those Necromantic Alchemists. So many, in fact, that learning Swamp Magicks was like kindergarten. Couldn't figure it out one way? Learn it another. Decades of training and seven masters later and you get the Nameless Undead Warlord you have today, a powerful mystic with no real purpose beyond conquering all that stands in his path.

Oh yeah, that's right, lemme tell you something about swamp magicks. When you learn that you can learn just about anything, oh yeah, in his training he crafted himself a way to stay alive for eternity. Voodoo only lasts so long baby. In his chest was placed a crystal and when withdrawn his soul came with it, he placed that bastard into the hilt of his sword. Effectively making him two times over an undead, technically both a zombie and a lich at this point. Enchantments and incatations, magicks and spellcrafts, he placed so many mystic shields on that sword over the years that he couldn't even tell you how to break it at this point. He's a bit power mad, yes, but who can blame him. Warlord here has been going through an identity crisis for at least five hundred years, maybe more, he doesn't know if he knew who he was before rising from the grave. To compensate for this he takes it out on anyone who stands up to him.

Sure, but just to make things interesting we'll say the big oak tree is magical and can defend itself. If that's alright with Max, at least.

sounds fine to me, and everyone is free to post after they put a character up, so far this is free for all but if you start making alliances then good luck to you (the winner is the last ONE alive, so betrayal will always be an option if not a necessity later on. have fun watching your back)

Just to clarify: Arty isn't wearing any armor. Just a leather jacket, white dress shirt (untucked, of course. It's not like this is a formal occasion...), jeans, and sneakers. If he was wearing his armor this would be an incredibly unfair fight. I'm not even sure all of you together would stand a chance. >_>

I never post Overlord's full CS, he's a high tier for sure when I fully list everything he can do. But god damn it takes hours just to write it out. He's a remarkable mage, I just never want to play him at his absolute best. So I just have him with a stock set of magic spells to put him below high tier.

I edited out the armor bit, by the way.

Just to keep things from getting more jumbled up than they're bound to anyway, we should probably stick to the initial post order and just add people in as they show up. Which would make it my post one post ago... I'll get to work on one. Lol.

And to be perfectly clear, I'm not trying to take over the GM position or anything... Just providing suggestions based on prior experience.
