Hey guys, I'm thinking of a roleplay based on Girls Und Panzer. I wants to see if anyone else is interested. The roleplay will set around the same time as the actual anime but in a tournament of a different country instead of Japan. Rules of tankery will be as same as the rules in Japan so there isn't much confusion. Anyone interested?
For those that don't know Girls Und Panzer, I got an overview from Wikipedia:
The story takes place in a universe where historical WWII-era tanks are maintained for sports warfare competitions and large carrier ships known as Academy Ships support mobile sea communities. High school girls participate in "tankery" (戦車道 sensha-dō?, lit. "the way of the tank"), the art of operating tanks, as a traditional martial art. During competitive matches, the tanks fire modified live rounds that cannot penetrate any tank as each vehicle is fitted with an advanced carbon-coated armor interior, thus preventing any physical harm to the crew; complete kills are detected by sensors which calculate the estimated damage from the shell trajectory and force, and raises a white flag to signal defeat. A computer system determines whether a shot can be considered penetrating, in simulation of real-life tank combat, and crewmembers are permitted to repair their vehicle's tracks and continue participation following a mobility kill. Different schools field teams of multiple vehicles and send them into sensha-dō matches; rules of each match can vary between completely disabling the opposing team, or disabling a designated flag tank. The carriers travel across the globe and schools that maintain a tank club are welcome to attend an annual tank competition that promises large rewards and prestige for their participation.
The format of the roleplay will be to have each player controlling a tank and their crew and will advance through their tournament.
