210 4e, Vvardenfell, Morrowind



The land of Morrowind has not been the same since the erruption of Red Mountain in Vvardenfell. After centuries of Exodus, the Dunmer people have a chance to rebuild their ruined homeland. While efforts had existed to rebuild the mainland, the site of the disaster, Vvardenfell, has been mostly untouched by those looking to make true effort. That was until a few years ago, when Dunmer leaving Skyrim began to settle the now stable island. At the moment, Vvardenfell has yet to reclaim it's former glory, but many of the former settlements have been resettled with a sizable populous, and many ruins of destroyed cities, lost citidels, and ruined temples taken by the Ash storms have attracted treasure hunters and adventurers from all corners of Tamriel. It would appear that Morrowind is due for a marvelous recovery. However, there are problems.

The Argonians of Black Marsh still seek conquest of all Morrowind, and there is the issue of the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion seeking supporters. As much as it is in the process of recovery, Morrowind could very well be thrown into chaos by these factions.

Meanwhile, Explorers and settlers alike are arriving in the port town of Seyda Neen everyday. If you happened to be travelling to Morrowind, no doubt you'll end up there.

Factions:
Since the rebuilding effort has started, many of the old factions of Tamriel has sprung up looking for a foothold

• Morag Tong: The traditional assassins of Morrowind, it was only natural they would resume activity in Vvardenfell


• Imperial Legion: The Empire grasps desperatly onto Morrowind, and the presence of the Legion is their best attempt to maintain control


• Thalmor: The eyes and ears of the Aldmeri dominion see a golden oppourtunity to form an alliance with their elven bretheren to crush the Empire and secure their power.


• Black Marsh: The Argonian people still see the conquest of Morrowind as their rightful vengeance


• Dark Brotherhood: Seeking to gain a foothold in Morrowind, the Dark Brotherhood has set up operations to compete with and Exterminate the Morag Tong

What brings you to Morrowind?: Secretly a Thalmor agent operating as to put down the Morag Tong and exterminate the Imperials from Morrowind and establish the Altmeri Dominion superiority in Dunmer politics.
Short History: Dar'Ja was born in the Northwestern part of Elsweyr, and soon became a caravan guard. Soon after he became addicted to Skooma and had to steal from his employer. After it was found out, he fled to Cyrodill and began to gamble away his family's money. Got into the wrong company and became a bandit, while his family was sitting in their houses unnoticing how he goes down and each day was like his last day. But he left his gang and turned to more professional and stealthy affairs. Soon he became a professional bulglar and conducted operations on the Thalmor, but was once caught, and he begged for life. His family hostage, Dar'Ja became an agent and informator for the Thalmor in Morrowind.

What brings you to Morrowind?: Temporary respite as he continues to look for a place to stay.
Short History: Ithilnur's history is vague and guarded. It is known he was born in the Summerset Isle to two Altmeri parents. His father was a scholar and archivist, while his mother was a healer. As the Thalmor began to take precedence in Summerset following the Oblivion Crisis, Ithilnur and his parents fled to Cyrodiil to escape the growing threat. The Great War followed soon after, nearly destroying the Imperial City. Ithilnur, now grown up, journeys Tamriel alone, seeking a permanent residence away from the Dominion's grasp.

What brings you to Morrowind?: Returning home to Morrowind to help rebuild and bring the Morag Tong back to it's former glory.
Short History: Calen was born in the town of Raven Rock in Soletheim, her parents having moved there from Windhelm. Always longing for the homeland she never saw, she became aware of the presence of the Morag Tong on Soletheim. Seeking them out, Calen proved her skill by the arduous task of finding the Tong, and carried out her initiation execution with ease. Since then, she has worked as a Morag Tong assassin, and was one of the first to be assigned to Vvardenfell. Now seeking to make them the prominent force of Morrowind, she will take any contract assigned to her.

Alright, sounds fantastic. I assume we're all just regular run-of-the-mill people. No Dragonborns or anything :P If I may ask will armor stats be similar in the IC? For example would starting out my character in Glass Armor be a bit far-fetched?

Yep, just regular people. Id just go with regular common armor, or faction armors if you're in one.

I'll give him Elven Armor then, for now. Since he's not affiliated with anyone per se. Also, as a plot device he utterly despises the Thalmor. Should lead to interesting character development.

What brings you to Morrowind?: Jar'mo is coming to morrowind to try and join the Thalmor and expell the imperials from morrowind.
Short History: Jar'mo's family was part of a travelling circus in hammerfell. It was at least an honest living but one day they were expelled back to Elsewir under the false accusation of theft. Back in Elsewir they were plunged into poverty, and turned to the arts of thievery.

What brings you to Morrowind?: hiding and treasure hunting
Short History: Ria was born and raised in the imperial city. She grew up watching matches in the famous arena and eventually became a gladiator. She did well, winning several matches and even having a few fans. When she climbed higher up the tournament ladder she was approached by "merchants" who wanted to rig the fights. After she refused they tried to persuade her with the aide of bandits. It was nothing she couldn't handle at first, but it kept escalating and she decided it would be best to lay low for a while. Some of her fellow gladiators told her about people finding fortunes in Morrowind. With no better options, she packed her sword and traveled east to the land of the Dunmer.

What Brings You to Morrowind: Finding a way to bring complete destruction to the Dunmer for their crimes against my people.
Short History: Tashno's ancestors were enslaved in Morrowind, as well as some of friends by house Dres. She has left for Morrowind along with others to bring the fight for freedom to House Dres doorstep.
