Drawing guys is similar but different. And that's precisely what I struggle with. I don't know what exactly those fine differences are so I don't know what to tweek to make it look like a guy. I mean, I know the torso differences but the face... it's freaking hard. And even the body I'm not that great at drawing guys with muscle. They're always pretty lanky and vaguely feminine or androgynous. :/

Oh, I see. That does make sense, although there are a lot of guys irl that look feminine/androgynous nowadays, so you wouldn't miss by a lot by drawing such a guy :P

And I am really eager to see LilithxAleks interaction developing in the future. I just love their current relationship :P

Lol Yeah, I know that's true but I'd like be able to actually draw a man when the situation calls for it. Like... I imagine Aleks as more masculine. He's pretty, sure, but I imagine him with a distinctly male presence. No one would mistake him for a lady even though he isn't huge, ripped, and hairy. And that is REALLY hard to pull off. @_@

Yeah, I'm excited for the moment Lilith actually starts to trust/ respect Aleks. Which honestly probably wouldn't happen unless he saved her life. Which actually relates to a question I meant to ask last night but I was too tired and forgot. What's the next step? Do you have a plan for the next chapter or do we need to talk about it? Cause we should definitely pick a mini plot that will help drive their relationship. The catty dynamic is fun but it'll get old if we don't change it up soon.

Mhm, that is actually my reason for refraining myself from posting. Although I was too tired yesterday as well, so I kinda told myself I don’t have to bring it up ASAP. Few minutes later and I forgot about it. So, yeah :P I guess it would be good to talk about possible steps for the next chapter. It most certainly has to be a mini plot that serves as a stepping stone of developing their relationship, but at the same time, it would be good if it’s still in lines of the main plot.

Something like Aleks‘ plan backfiring or Lilith’s execution failing – and the other one having to step in. I’m talking completely random now, but still, just putting some possibilities out there.

I thought against involving VolginxLilithxAleks feud yet. That could prove very exciting, but I feel it’s still too soon. I’d bring that out when the police investigated a tad bit more crimes and gives Volgin more evidence to suspect Aleks and/or Lilith.

The first thing that came to mind as being likely to improve Lilith's opinion of Aleks would be helping her deal with some supernatural hunter of sorts that comes after her. But it is WAY too soon for that. I don't think it would be a good idea for Lilith's execution to fail yet. Her ego is way too big. If something like that happened now even if Aleks was nice/ understanding about it (which I doubt he would be) Lilith would be really upset and... not react well. Like. I feel like lots of innocent and unplanned people would die. As for Aleks' plan backfiring... that's a bit iffy as well. If Lilith thinks Aleks can't handle coordinating all this there's no way she's going to trust him for quite some time.

I also think it's too soon for Volgin. That arc is going to be VERY exciting but now isn't the time for it.

So... now that I've essentially shot down all of your ideas. >.> I think the best idea would be for Aleks' plan to not work out but not in a way that affects Lilith. Like... it makes things more complicated for him to do business or something but there's no reason for Lilith to even know that things aren't going well because it's not like Aleks to let her in on that sort of thing. But I could have her notice he's more stressed than usual and maybe on her next mission he has to be present for it and that's when she definitely knows something is weird. And maybe because Aleks is present for that one we could have a witness and then Volgin would be involved! But it should be an unreliable witness, like someone on a hallucinogen. That way there is reason for Volgin to doubt and still have hope for his friend, but also a reason for him to be wary of Aleks.

How does that sound to you? Any input? Feel free to shoot it down, goodness knows I wasn't as nice as I could have been. >.<

Honestly, that’s something new for me :P I don’t have a lot of friends with whom I’m always on the same page. Maybe DJ, which is expected out of my bf, but besides him – I can’t think of someone. So, yeah, I love this ^.^

I somehow think that anything that involves Volgin would just be too... fast of a development. I like the idea of a witness, but I’d like to store it away for pre-Volgin arc. That could be a great intro for it, but as we both agreed, it’s too soon for that. And as for Aleks being more and more stressed – that’s a good idea, something that I did plan on using at one point, but I feel like it would need more time to be set in motion. I don’t think it would be all that good if Aleks started acting more stressed all of a sudden in a couple of my next posts. It would be too rushed, in my opinion.

Joking aside, I know that in order to do something good, we’ll have to come up with something that doesn’t make either one of our characters look bad. At least not at this point. They need to keep showing their dominance, before everything starts to break down.

Having something go wrong in Aleks‘ plan that Lilith is not aware of could work well. But we’d have to be clever about that *something* that went wrong and then ultimatively led to Aleks having to be present at her next target’s destination.

Now – what I had in store for Lilith and her next mission was a member of Bratva.

Because that way, tensions would rise between the gang of the guys Lilith previously killed and Aleks‘ Bratva. And then, maybe, as Lilith is getting rid of the target, something happens that was unexpected (which is, of course, not clear to Lilith) and makes Aleks‘ report to his foster father much more stressful. And then his foster father gets him into some predicament that led him to being present.

Maybe like the target sending an SOS text directly to Aleks or the guys that Aleks would be with at the time.

Hm.

Hopefully, I’m making myself clear. I have to be at the bus station in a few hours and I’m not even ready yet, so I’m kind of in a hurry (and still have the time to reply, +5 friendship point) :P

Your idea sounds great to me, now all we need to figure out is what the problem is going to be. I feel like it'd probably be easier for you to figure that out but I'm totally here for help/ support/ suggestions if you'd like. I really am curious to see how it goes when Aleks has to be present and have a good excuse for making it out alive. So much excite! ^-^
