Planning on taking a year of high school online, I'll be almost completely alone the whole time as I don't have any friends . Trying to decide whether I want to actually do this or not, there are many pros and cons.

If it's the same school you went to the previous year and you still don't have any friends that you'd miss, then you should do it.

Pros: Don't have to do anything afterwards.
Cons: Depending on the school, most of your teachers will expect more of you than what you had to do in physical school.

Pros: Work is usually multiple choice.
Cons: Teachers are bad at getting back to you.

Pros: You can go back through everything another time and studying is a little easier.
Cons: Work piles up easily. If you miss even one day you will have work to do for the next several months.

That's pretty much the case. Last year I started in a completely new school, then halfway through the year I moved across the country to a whole other new school. I'm not really missing anyone.

Well aware of the boost in difficulty as well as the higher responsibility expectations. I took a single class online last year and did quite well with that, was much easier than traditional schooling to me. I think I learn better non-traditionally.

I took two online classes, Spanish and Comp, my junior year in high school. Comp I had to drop out of because it was too much work coupled with Spanish and my regular schoolwork (I was home schooled).
Compared to taking Spanish II (senior year) in an actual class, I much preferred real class to online. Pretty much what Broby said, though I used online class as an excuse to be on the internet way too much (most of it was spent on OldGuild). I wouldn't know about taking all classes online, I probably wouldn't like it because I'm more of a hands-on learner and I would get bored. Just depends on your personality I guess.

Haha, yes you did. I'm still quite the babby, but growing every day.

There's only 1 online college in the US that's worth the tuition.

But I'll always be iffy on the idea of high school online, since so much of what makes high school suck is the social interaction. Not sure why you would deprive yourself of that.
