I actually intended for it to be something to pass the time and allow for some sort of interaction until I got home and could move the party along. :P But it doesn't really matter that much because no one seemed to want to share their powers with the group, so far anyway. At the moment, I have company over, so I'll have to get the next post up later.

I'd rather wait for the right moment instead of just say what my characters ability is. It could be something tiny like illuminating a room that has no light but some kind of purpose not just: My name is Blah, my power is blah. Seems rather boring imo. Especially with adult supervision ._. Maybe if someone needs a candlelit I'd let him do his thing. I want my characters first real noticeable display to be rather memorable in my eyes a bit.
Devon'll just tell his power with a small demonstration. He doesn't really care much about theatrics, to be honest. He just wants to get to the teaching~ Because throwing stuff around is really cool and fun to do.

I'm not saying that you had to do that. Just that the option was there if you so desired. :P The whole thing was more of a stepping stone than anything, so don't feel that I wanted it a certain way. I'm just happy that it didn't seem like anything stagnated.
I actually had to google 'stagnated', haha. Curse my small vocabulary.

@Psychotic: I understand. That's why I used the headmaster to demonstrate Beth's ability. It really isn't that big of a deal though, since a lot of people have already demonstrated their powers to some extent. It was just a filler; the headmaster obviously didn't know that they had introduced themselves and their powers for the most part. ;)
As for moving along. I would like to know if you guys would prefer me to drag your characters along until the end where you can react or if you would like me to go in stages where you can react to the events or interact with other characters (a little bit) at the end of each stage. Like, moving into the building and getting ready to discuss is one stage, going over rules is another, etc. I'm up for whatever. I just want you guys to be pleased with how we go about this. :D

Stages I guess. Unless there are tons of stages if done that way.
Also, for the whole roommates thing I don't know if your picking randomly but some other character that's quiet/shy or tranquil would be what Id want for Arson. Mainly so he can obnoxiously contradict or annoy them.

Usually in most rp's I would do the rules first off before they even go In.
Then he shows us the important rooms like cafeteria, training rooms, and the dorms with who the partners are.
After that we get to set up are rooms and discuss a bit.
Then goes to the rest of what ever rooms you want to show us.
Like you said in in little stages that we can talk after words.But I'm cool with anything just don't start showing off old pieces of art or other stuff like that. Rose will probe half to be dragged around on her bag or a dolly, if she sees them.
